Arizona is about to get cranked as Crankdat brings his headline to Rawhide on May 9th, 2026. Hot off his newest single, “Movement,” Crankdat is heading to the valley of the sun with fellow bass favorites Zingara, Zen Selekta, and Casey Club. Hosted by Relentless Beats, Arizona fans can expect a night built for maximum volume and zero restraint. If recent shows offer any clue, the energy will be catastrophic.
Over the past few years, Crankdat has sharpened his sound into a high-impact festival weapon. His catalog fuses dubstep aggression, trap influence, and cinematic builds. Meanwhile, his edits and remixes regularly dominate festival sets worldwide. That combination keeps crowds locked from intro to encore. Live, Crankdat thrives on unpredictability and momentum. His sets jump between explosive double drops, viral flips, and unreleased IDs. The result feels less like a concert and more like organized chaos.
The open-air venue has become a staple destination for major headline shows. Rawhide provides the perfect setting for maximum impact. Towering production rigs and desert night skies amplify the atmosphere, with every drop hitting harder under the twinkling stars. Fans should prepare for a crowd that shows up ready. Arizona’s bass community consistently delivers high-energy support for touring artists. Rail riders, pit starters, and late-night steppers all share the same mission: move hard, stay loud, and celebrate the music together.
This headline marks another milestone in Crankdat’s rapid ascent. His evolution from rising producer to global festival staple continues gaining momentum. Each show feels bigger, sharper, and more explosive than the last. This May at Rawhide should prove exactly why. The lights will drop, the subs will ignite, and hesitation will disappear quickly. Tickets for Crankdat’s Rawhide headline show are on sale now, so fans should lock theirs in early. It’s time to get cranked.
Last week, in an emotional post, Canadian duo Zeds Dead announced their 2026 Journey of a Lifetime Tour. Coming to Mesa Amphitheater September 18 + 19, as well as 11 other outdoor venues across North America, Zeds Dead promises new music, a larger production, and a brand-new stage design to take their fans on another unforgettable journey.
Zeds Dead shared, “‘Journey of a Lifetime’ is one of the first tracks we uploaded to the World Wide Web as Zeds Dead way back in 2009. 17 years later it feels like it was a prophecy. We might have not realized it at the time but we were in fact blasting off into space and leaving behind life as we knew it. This journey is your journey with us as well. We’ve grown up together and celebrated life. We’ve created a world together and the Journey of a Lifetime tour aims to be our most thorough exploration of it. This will be our biggest tour yet as it’s taking place in large outdoor venues and we’re going to make it the best show we can make. It will be the grand finale of everything we’ve been working on. It’s not the end though. To quote something we sampled in a beat once ‘Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.’ We’ll be taking some time off in 2027 so we’re going all out on production, new music, and stage design to bring you a new show that will take you on a magical journey. A journey of a lifetime. See you there.”
In those 17 years, Zeds Dead has truly created one of the strongest fan communities. Their tireless search for new artists and unique style has offered opportunities to feature new talent on their Deadbeats label and their biweekly radio show, Deadbeats Radio, lifting hundreds of artists into the spotlight. In addition, their uniquely curated events like the Backyard Jamboree, Deadbeats presents, and 10+ years of Deadrocks have allowed their community to gather year after year for the shared love of bass music.
Hearing that the duo will be taking a 2027 hiatus is almost bittersweet. On one hand, their music and energy will be missed. But on the other hand, we all know that when artists take a break, they come back better than ever. Look at Griz, for example, who, after his 2-year hiatus, returned with a brand new festival and a lot of new music!
As this tour is promised to be their biggest and most diverse show to date, tickets are sure to sell quickly. We’re also proud to report that Zeds Dead has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket goes to supporting organizations expanding access to music education and other creative opportunities, such as providing instruments, software, and related resources.

System Overload premiered this past weekend with a statement: the underground is thriving, and the community is louder than ever. Across two sweat-soaked nights, the event transformed Rawhide into a pressure chamber of strobing lights, chest-rattling subs, and wall-to-wall energy that refused to dip.
Day One
The inaugural System Overload festival will undoubtedly be the topic of conversation for weeks to come. A full lineup of bass and riddim artists was something Rawhide had never seen, and we loved it!
Walking through security, the first thing you can feel is the bass billowing from the Vault 404 stage. As you walked into The Barn, Mile32 greeted you with a face full of dubstep. It gave you an irresistible urge to run right up and break the rail in two. The energy was so high that it was hard to consider even seeing the rest of the festival. The only thing that got people moving was a simple, infuriating question.
Who the F#%k is Richard Finger?!
Outside at the Power Grid Stage, Richard Finger, an anonymous duo with finger masks, had the overwhelming majority of the early crowd captivated. We’re not sure if it was the masks (which politely presented the finger between your index and ring finger) or the insane flips and remixes that pulled in the crowd. Regardless of the reasoning, everyone was entertained.
For the wanderers and side questers looking for entertainment away from the music, a fun installation could be found in the back corner of The Barn. A mini arcade! Strangers turned into friends through friendly competition on old school games like Pac-Man, Time Crisis, Mortal Kombat, and even the first Big Buck Hunter. Although the nostalgia for the arcade games was captivating, the subwoofers served as a siren’s song, luring the wanderers back to the stage.
The energy of night 1 was turned up to the max from start to finish. Samplifier’s remix of Crankdat’s viral song “Movement” got a crowd reaction that could be heard from Los Angeles. The crowd then gave a louder roar when Wooli, Friday night closer, played his new track with Cyclops called “Jazz Cabbage“.
Day Two
If night one set the tone, night two shattered expectations. Word had clearly spread, because the energy surged from the first beat. Sets felt heavier, transitions tighter, and the crowd even more dialed in. Artists pushed boundaries, weaving in unexpected genre pivots — flashes of trap, bass house, and cinematic interludes — before slamming back into bass-driven chaos. The diversity kept the experience fresh, proving that the lineup was curated with intention rather than repetition.
Eptic brought razor-sharp sound design and mechanical precision, firing off punchy drops and chaotic switch-ups that kept the pit in constant motion. His set felt calculated yet wild, a masterclass in controlled destruction. Dropping “Wall Of Death“, the crowd did what any crowd should, and moshed at eachother into oblivion. NGHTMRE followed, blending festival trap energy with bone-rattling bass and euphoric builds. No matter the time or day, NGHTMRE always puts on a gnarly show, and I will die on that hill!
Closing out night two, SLANDER hit with emotional force, weaving melodic dubstep anthems through thunderous breakdowns that turned the venue into a sea of raised hands. Their ability to balance vulnerability and sheer power created one of those rare, goosebump-inducing finales. The entire venue felt synchronized. Phones dropped, hands went up, and strangers locked into the same rhythm. It wasn’t just a show — it was a shared release.
Finale Of A Lifetime
System Overload didn’t just meet expectations; it reinforced why these events matter. The sound was massive, the visuals were dialed, and the performances were fearless. And can we take a moment for those lasers?! More importantly, the crowd showed up with passion and respect, elevating both nights beyond standard concert territory. In a scene that constantly evolves, System Overload proved one thing this weekend: when production, talent, and community align, the result isn’t just loud — it’s unforgettable.
Final transmission incoming… signal strength is at 100%. All systems are good to go! It is almost time for the commencement of the first-ever System Overload, a new bass festival presented by Relentless Beats and Aftershock.
This weekend, Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, AZ, will be the center of a legendary weekend filled with insane back-to-backs and iconic solo sets from some of the hardest names in dubstep and riddim. Friday headliners include Wooli, Liquid Stranger, and The Resistance! Saturday night pops off with sets by the OGs Slander and NGHTMRE.
With so much great music throughout the night, it would be a crime to stay at one stage. Luckily, the wide open layout will make walking between sets feel seamless. When it is time to take a quick break from the mayhem, be sure to check out the different booths for a wide array of outfits, jewelry, trinkets, and so much more! Of course, the best booth in the game, our very own Moon Lvnding tent, will be on hand with our exclusive array of fans and pashminas to keep yourself and your crew cool and covered all night long.
There’s no more time to wait. 2-day tickets are almost sold out! It is not too late to grab your friends and secure your weekend plans now. Single-day tickets are also available for both Friday and Saturday. Get ready to #overloadthesystem and enjoy this debut bass music festival presented by Relentless Beats and Aftershock.
Gem and Jam’s 17th year dazzled crowds with eclectic music and unforgettable experiences at Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson.
Perfect, temperate weather spanned the weekend, as the sun glimmered on lively crowds from Feb. 6 to Feb. 8. As early as 11 a.m., attendees enjoyed metaphysical workshops in the Topaz Healing Sanctuary ahead of musical guests.
Before the stages opened Friday afternoon, Gem & Jam campgrounds came to life with ravers settling in for the weekend. Music and laughter filled the air as friends set up camps to represent their group’s style and vibes.
Clozee‘s captivating headlining set on opening night conjured an ethereal tone for the weekend with beautiful visuals and soothing sound. The Emerald Stage served as the main event space and represented the festival’s aesthetic perfectly. Adorned with giant crystals, fluffy moss, and animal bones repurposed into art, the Emerald Stage showcased nature’s beauty.
On night two, Troyboi went full throttle on the mainstage with a classic catalog of bangers across genres. Then, G Jones B2B Eprom closed out the night with a hard-hitting set that screamed peak Gem & Jam.
Finally, Tycho brought the main stage to a calm, surreal conclusion on Sunday night with inspirational and uplifting sound. Yheti and Toadface’s B2B packed the Onyx stage at 2:45 a.m., as Gem & Jam 2026’s final send off.
Arizona’s Relentless Beats hosted the festival this year, after its 2025 postponement following failure to secure a lineup. This year, it partnered with idgaFNK to carefully curate Gem & Jam’s Opal Stage to showcase Phoenix’s local EDM scene.
IdgaFNK DJs, product vendors, live painters, and artists carved out a corner of campus to call their own. After the headliners finished at midnight, the Opal Stage became an intimate afters inside a bus until 2 a.m.
An extension of the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil Showcase, Gem & Jam emphasizes the intersection of nature and creativity. From stage design to careful selection of art installments, vendors, and workshop topics, the festival has unique offerings for all.
One of the most spectacular sections to witness Gem & Jam’s creative pull is at the Emerald Stage art gallery. Live painters dot the festival grounds, with the largest works found near the main stage.
While the live painting is quite unique, the gallery itself is also incredibly impressive and worthy of browsing. Mediums at the gallery range from traditional paint on canvases to projection mapping and welding, with everything in between.
Beyond the main gallery, Gem & Jam has multiple art installments for viewing and interacting with. Some installments respond to motion or touch, while some ask you to share your deepest thoughts and wildest dreams.
A particularly interesting installment (pictured above, to the right behind the butterfly) was the “Orgone Amplifier.” A crystal toted on wheels grabbed the attention of curious onlookers who could change its color with a twisting knob. It’s uses and technology run deeper than pretty colors, and you can read more on the Orgone Amplifiers Instagram.
All in all, Gem & Jam 2026 went off without a hitch after sky-high anticipation. Relentless Beats flawlessly picked up where the festival left off, and it’s already gearing up for next year. According to the Gem & Jam official Instagram, 2027 dates and early bird tickets will be released soon, so keep your eyes peeled!
Gem & Jam Festival weekend is finally here, and Relentless Beats is ready to commence the magic at Pima County Fairgrounds in Tucson, AZ.

Festival Map

The opening ceremony takes place at 4:30 pm, but music begins as early as 2 pm. with Martian. Clozee headlines until midnight before The Widdler, Tripp St., and Stevie Nova carry the night owls to 4 am.
Gem & Jam’s workshops continue on Day 2 with lessons on flow, breath work, and harm reduction. Visitors should also plan to stop by “Drumming Sounds” to experience some live, artistic collaboration in music and rhythm.
TroyBoi and G Jones B2B Eprom are the highlight of the second night on the Emerald Stage. Nearby, attendees can peruse the art gallery and vendor marketplace. From funky fashion to flow toys and fidgets, there will be a plethora of small businesses to explore at Gem & Jam.
On the final day of festivities, workshops focus on flow and movement, with a fair selection of spiritual workshops as well. Ivy Lab plays a D&B set on the Onyx Stage, and Tycho headlines from 10:30 pm to midnight. Yheti and Toadface play a B2B as the final set of Gem & Jam 2026.
Gem & Jam is back for its 17th year with a brilliant comeback after the 2025 festival was postponed. There’s plenty of magic and memories ahead for festivalgoers old and new. Find all the latest info, including FAQ, ticketing, and lineup, using the weblink and social media sites below.
Gem & Jam returns to Tucson in less than two weeks, bringing its signature psychedelic energy back to the Pima County Fairgrounds. Throughout the first weekend of February, attendees can expect a diverse range of sounds—from grooving jam bands to gripping electronic music—spread across a thoughtfully curated lineup.
This year’s headliners include Clozee, TroyBoi, G Jones B2B Eprom, and Tycho. Following the festival’s 2025 cancellation, both newcomers and longtime fans are eager to experience the magic that has made Gem & Jam a staple of the Southwest festival circuit once again.
With a wide variety of genres represented across each day, Gem & Jam truly offers something for everyone. Experimental bass fans can expect nothing but greatness on opening day, with artists like WonkyWilla, The Widdler, and Lumasi setting the tone through rolling basslines, funky grooves, and fantastic sound design.
By day two, the festival hits full stride as heavy hitters Cool Customer and Mr. Bill bring the bass. G Jones and EProm’s highly anticipated B2B presents an opportunity to experience their collaborative EP, ‘Disk Utility,’ live. Devault transports the crowd with cinematic soundscapes, while Nala and J. Worra inject a dose of spunky house into the mix.
Day three delivers yet another can’t-miss slate of performances. Festivalgoers should make plans to catch Ivy Lab’s DnB set, as the collective is expected to wrap up in the coming year. Yheti goes B2B with Toadface before linking up with DJ trio Lespecial for an additional set as their collective project, “Liminoid.”
Gem & Jam brings more than electrifying sound to Pima County Fairgrounds. In addition to its incredibly immersive venue and atmosphere, the festival offers an outlet for all kinds of artistic expression.
Attendees can explore spiritual workshops, live painting, interactive art installations, and small-business vendors throughout the weekend—making Gem & Jam just as much about creativity and community as it is about sound.

Although it’s been a couple of weeks since ringing in the New Year, Decadence Arizona has still been buzzing in all of our minds. Relentless Beats truly outdid themselves, putting on one of the best music festivals in AZ history to date. Once again, the festival proved why it remains one of the Southwest’s most anticipated year-end spectacles. As thousands poured into the Phoenix Raceway, the festival transformed the desert into a glowing playground of sound, light, and relentless energy.
Inside Decadence’s Immersive Festival Design
The layout struck a rare balance between scale and flow. Two massive stages anchored the venue with towering LED walls and immersive production that pulled fans in from every angle. Decadence Arizona expanded far beyond its main stages, unfolding like a city built for sound. The Conservatory delivered immersive moments designed for connection, while the Playhouse surged with color, chaos, and nonstop dance energy.
Meanwhile, the Bazaar pulled fans into a sensory detour filled with art, fashion, and flavor. When the intensity peaked, the Quiet Quarters offered space to reset, but don’t be fooled— the silent disco still had the crowd moving at all hours of the night. Together, these environments elevated the festival experience, transforming Decadence into a living, moving landscape of rhythm and escape.
A Roster That Refused to Miss
Although there were many artists worth side questing for, here were some of the favorites worth mentioning.
Day 1
WHETHAN
I have heard a lot about Whethan, and I can easily say he was in the top 3 sets of the festival in my book. His transitions felt cinematic rather than mechanical. It allowed the set to unfold like a story instead of a sequence of tracks. Sweeping synths and layered builds created moments where the entire crowd was absolutely moving. And can we give a quick shoutout to that Richard Finger drop?!
HAMDI
Hamdi delivered one of the weekend’s most infectious performances, blending UK bass weight with undeniable bounce. Another first for me, and I was not disappointed. Each switch-up landed with intention, reminding everyone why his sound thrives on both dancefloor grit and pure fun. As someone who doesn’t stray often from my usual roster, he reminded me why catching a new set/artist can be an eye-opening experience.
MAX STYLER
All I have to say about Max Styler‘s set is: yes. 10/10 would do it again; whatever that man is doing, he’s doing it right.
KAI WACHI B2B SULLIVAN KING
I’ve seen both of these gentlemen many, many times—and each time is better than the last. Kai Wachi b2b Sullivan King unleashed one of the most aggressive and crazy sets of the festival. The duo fused metal intensity with bass brutality, creating a sonic assault that felt both theatrical and raw. Each drop landed like a hammer, yet the chemistry between them kept the chaos sharp and controlled. Whether you want to re-live the chaos or catch up on what you missed, their entire set is now live on YouTube.
Day 2
VOYD
Starting with my favorite set from both days, I can confidently say there is nothing that compares to any show SVDDEN DEATH puts on. But VOYD? That set lives rent-free in my head still to this day. It became almost an immediate statement piece for the weekend. The visuals alone are incomparable to any other artist on the planet. His signature dark aesthetic swallowed the stage whole, pairing guttural bass with apocalyptic visuals that felt ripped from another dimension. VOYD sent shockwaves through the crowd, establishing an early benchmark for intensity—not to mention the gigantic wall of death that I couldn’t even see the end of. I know there is a big debate on his sets being “scary”, but to anyone who is wavering on that fence: try it once. If you don’t like it, you can always catch a different set!
PHRVA
Phrva has been on my list to see since his Espresso flip back in 2024. Not only did that day finally arrive, but I also got to witness the flip live in person. Monumental moment for me, I must say! Rather than overwhelm, he curated space, letting each drop breathe and hit with intention. The crowd locked into his hypnotic flow as he balanced weight and groove with sharp rhythmic control. I solemnly swear to never miss a Phrva set from this day forward.
TAPE B
Yo Tape B! That was a wonky set! Blending dubstep grit with unexpected throwbacks and vocal flips, he kept the crowd guessing while staying locked into a cohesive groove. The set moved effortlessly between heavy and playful, never sacrificing pacing or crowd control. Honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever be done ranting about that man.
SUBTRONICS
If you know me, you know how hard I will always go for Subtronics. His production skills are unparalleled; if Subtronics is playing at something I’m attending, I will always be there. Flipping between warped sound design, cartoonish flair, and earth-shaking drops, the crowd couldn’t help but fully surrender to the madness. Give me weird music, that’s what I want; we love some wonky ass music!

Where the Magic Hit Hardest
Now for the defining moment of the weekend: GRiZ‘s New Year’s countdown set. I knew there was going to be a sea of people, but man, did the Decadence crowd show up. As the clock ticked toward midnight, you could feel the anticipation that rippled through the crowd. When the drop aligned with the turn of the year, pyro errupted and giant balloons drifted down onto the crowd as GRiZ dropped the best part of Innerbloom by RÜFÜS DU SOL. That’s right, you know the part I’m referring to.
Magical doesn’t even begin to describe that moment. It was such a euphoric experience, where everyone’s soul connected and felt like a shared exhale. Seeing the pure happiness on everyone’s faces around me reminded me of why I love what I do. Easily one of the best moments of my entire 28 years of being on this earth. The feeling was truly indescribable in the best way.

The Countdown Ensues
Beyond the music, Decadence Arizona shone in its attention to experience. Vendor villages and lounge pockets gave attendees space to recharge without stepping too far from the action. Hydration stations, clear signage, and efficient entry points kept the weekend running smoothly from start to finish. Moreover, the crowd itself added to the magic. From decked-out rave fits to glitter-covered countdown crews, Decadence once again cultivated a space where expression felt encouraged and celebrated.
In the end, Decadence AZ didn’t just close out the year—it launched the next one with authority. With genre-spanning performances and a countdown that will live rent-free in memories for years, the festival delivered on every front. Mission accomplished, Arizona. The bar has officially been raised for New Year’s, and the countdown to Decadence 2026 has already begun.
Levity is blasting off their biggest headline tour to date. The Lasership Tour plans to hit Mesa Amphitheatre in Arizona on February 14, 2026. The trio—John Hauldren, PJ Carberry, and Josh Tarum—arrive with their most ambitious vision yet, packed with a spaceship’s worth of lasers and color. Billed as their “biggest production ever,” Lasership showcases the energy, charm, and immersive stagecraft that define Levity’s rise.
Over the past few years, the trio has steadily carved out a distinct lane in electronic music. Their luminous sound, vibrant storytelling, and live shows feel equal parts cinematic and explosive. More importantly, Levity has mastered the art of designing moments that hit emotionally just as hard as they hit sonically. Now, Lasership amplifies that formula by expanding lighting design, sharpening narrative elements, and unveiling a massive new stage layout engineered for maximum immersion.
At the same time, their momentum offstage has only intensified. Thanks to viral remixes, high-impact originals, and a knack for pairing heartfelt melodies with festival-ready engineering, Levity has become a consistent crowd favorite. Their upward trajectory has been undeniable—jumping from local support slots to major festival lineups. As a result, the Lasership Tour marks a pivotal moment, with Levity confidently stepping into their next chapter and embracing larger venues with a fully realized creative vision.
New music launches alongside Lasership, fueling the tour with fresh momentum and emotional impact. Meanwhile, upgraded visuals amplify the sense of discovery, transforming every set into a cinematic journey through sound and space. From the first drop, Levity pulls fans into a fully realized universe built for movement, connection, and escape. Tickets for the 18+ show are still available on the official ticketing website. Don’t miss the chance to witness Levity’s Lasership Tour as it touches down in Arizona.
