With EDC one month away, the slow unveiling of details teases impatient ravers itching for the biggest festival of the year. Headliners recently received exciting news: the day-by-day breakdown is out! With so many artists and so many stages, conflicts are bound to happen. We’ve analyzed each day to help you prep for the 30th anniversary of EDC this May to optimize your weekend and help prep for any conflict heartbreak.
Day 0
For the first time, Day 0 on Thursday, May 14, is an official party. This is no ordinary party. Insomniac and Las Vegas have teamed up for another first, an electronic parade down the Las Vegas Strip! It is free to the public, so you do not need to attend EDC to attend the parade. It will host 30+ art cars, 15,000+ performers, marching bands, DJs on the floats, and plenty of surprises for about two and a half hours. The parade starts at the festival grounds, goes south on Las Vegas Blvd, U-turns at Resorts World, and returns to the Festival Grounds. It is recommended that you Uber to Circus Circus, Resorts World, or Sahara, or use the Las Vegas Monorail. Be sure to hit Vegas early so as not to miss the first-ever EDC parade.
