Two Shining Stars At Project Glow

Insomniac takes over DC as the Northeast spring festival season heats up with Project Glow this weekend, April 27 + 28. For its third year, The RFK Festival Grounds provides the space for this three-stage event that runs 10 hours from 1pm to 11pm on Saturday and Sunday. It’s never too late to send it!

While massive headliners like Illenium, Rezz, Lane 8, Zedd, and Purple Disco Machine command the stages to end the night, two artists caught our attention that will get the party started well before sunset — Blossom and Calussa.

Bass house producer/DJ Blossom plays the Eternal Stage at 3:30pm on Saturday. She is no stranger to Insomniac, releasing her 2019 EP Strapped with Insomniac Music Group (IMG) imprint IN / ROTATION on her way to winning “The Best DJ in Phoenix 2019.” Now relocated to New York City and with releases on heavy-hitting labels like Deadbeats, UKF, and Night Bass, Blossom continues to make bass-forward dance music that resonates with fans worldwide.

Tech house producer/DJ duo Calussa plays the Pulse Stage at 3:45pm on Sunday. Hailing from Miami, Calussa recently debuted with IMG on the release of “Te Recorde,” their collab with Subelo NEO, and there’s more IMG music on the way. Fusing Latin and Afro Tech sounds, Calussa has released with renowned labels like Higher Ground and Defected Records and they’re ready to bring their global house music sound to Project Glow and IMG.

This weekend promises to provide another awesome Insomniac festival experience as the Northeast prepares to get its glow on. Moon Lvnding is excited to be on-site in DC to bring our Moon Fvm coverage of the 2-day event. Use the handy Project Glow links below for any last-minute festival tickets and information.

Chris Lake: Black Book On The Pier

Chris Lake is returning to Brooklyn this summer at an even larger venue than before! With his label, Black Book Records, Lake will take over The Brooklyn Army Terminal on July 19 + 20 for a special, two-day, open-air event. It’s already looking like a NYC summer highlight!

The legendary house producer, best known for EDM classics such as “Turn off the Lights” and “Nothing Better,” is no stranger to The Big Apple, selling out the opening two nights at The Brooklyn Mirage in 2023. Now backed by EMW Presents, this special event will further demonstrate his revered status as Black Book Records continues to sell out world-renowned venues.

The Black Book events have two separate lineups. Friday features Chris Lorenzo, Andruss, and Jojo Lorenzo, while Saturday features Green Velvet, Harry Romero, and Cole Knight. Jauz Back On Tour In 2024

Jauz enjoyed an action-packed 2023 with the release of his dual album project Rise of the Wise and Wrath of the Wicked. Later that fall, Moon Lvnding interviewed the Bite This! label head about his exclusive deadmau5 remix and performing with him at Red Rocks. Now Jauz is back with new singles and his Wise vs. Wicked North American Tour this spring and summer.

On March 29, Jauz released his latest single “Teardrops” and he’s got another song prepared to drop next Friday, April 26 called “Chains.” The electro-pop feel of his upcoming release marks a new foray into pop dance music and is a significant step forward for his Bite This! label.

Looking ahead to his Wise vs. Wicked Tour, after spending last weekend in Philadephia Jauz sets his sights on the historic Webster Hall in New York City this April 20. Featuring a special Wise & Wicked show, Jauz will feature a blend of progressive-house sounds from Rise of the Wise and the drum-and-bass and dubstep-infused tracks from Wrath of the Wicked. Joining him for his stop in NYC are Berlin-based tech-house DJ/producer LOVRA and bass music duo Jkyl & Hyde, who just remixed Jauz’s single “Save U Now.”

Tickets are still available as Jauz continues the Wise vs. Wicked Tour this spring and summer, with stops in Seattle, Denver, Toronto, Austin, and San Francisco. To keep up with everything else from Jauz, including additional tour dates and festival announcements, use his handy social links below.
