This past weekend, John Summit brought his first-ever Experts Only Festival to New York City, taking over Randall’s Island for two days of house and techno. With more than 50,000 fans in attendance, the festival marked one of the biggest electronic events in NYC this year and gave Summit a chance to showcase his vision for a curated, fan-first experience.

The layout and atmosphere stood out just as much as the music. After a long hiatus from major festivals at Randall’s Island, it felt refreshing to return to the iconic setting with its skyline views and open space. The energy across the grounds was buzzing, with stages designed for both intimate grooves and massive peak-time moments.
The Co-Founders of Medium Rare shared: “With the absence of Electric Zoo, and now Brooklyn Mirage, we saw a major hole in the market for this kind of show. It’s no easy feat to produce a 50,000-person festival on an island but we’re fortunate to have done it before and have gained the trust of city officials. It’s a full circle moment for us and it’s truly incredible to see the Experts Only Fest come to life.”

On stage, the lineup delivered exactly what fans came for. John Summit closed both nights with high-energy sets that reminded people why he’s at the top of modern house music, with Sunday’s two-hour closer easily considered one of his best yet. Kaskade’s back-to-back with Cassian was another highlight, blending soaring melodies with club-ready beats that had the crowd locked in from start to finish.
Other standout performances came from Green Velvet b2b Layton Giordani, LP Giobbi, Kasablanca, and AYYBO, creating a diverse mix of styles, while keeping the house and techno heartbeat strong. Summit said in an interview on ABC, “…trying to find lesser known talent instead of just working with the names that everyone knows, I think it’s awesome to put the more undiscovered names on.” The featured artists on this lineup, top to bottom, did not disappoint.
In the end, Experts Only Festival made a powerful debut. It filled a major gap in New York’s dance music scene and reminded fans how special Randall’s Island can be for large-scale events. Between the uniquely curated lineup, the positive energy of the crowd, and Summit’s own headline performances, the weekend felt like the start of something much bigger: a new tradition in New York City’s festival calendar!
That’s a wrap, year 30 of Nocturnal Wonderland SoCal is in the books, and it was a memorable one. Ravers from all over the world came to Glen Helen Amphitheater for two days under the stars. Both days were filled with pyro, lasers, bass, dancing, and amazing vibes. The lineup was stacked from top to bottom, leaving you sad it’s over. Check out our recap below in case you missed it or want to relive the weekend.
Day One
Nocturnal started with a bang on day one. On the Mystic Wild stage, Waxtroda (Matroda b2b Wax Motif) had the crowd vibing and dancing. Later in the evening, this stage was closed out by the legendary Eric Prydz. He was rumored to have almost missed his set due to a leg injury; however, being the legend he is, Eric Prydz played sitting down with his injured leg.
Dawn Mountain was home to the bassheads all weekend. Day one was blessed by a rare Liquid Stranger set, followed by the bone-shattering drops of Wooli. Aurora Plains was headlined by Skream and MK, who had the whole crowd mesmerized with their visuals and music. After day one, I didn’t want to leave, but day two did not disappoint.
Day one kicked off the 30th anniversary in an amazing way, and day two kept that party going. The Mystic Wild stage hosted Seven Lions and Zedd. They not only had you in your feels but also kept you dancing and headbanging while fireworks were going off all around you. At the Dawn Mountain stage, Level Up threw down one of the heaviest sets of the weekend, while Sullivan King closed out the stage.
San Pancho had the Aurora Plains stage so packed that you could barely make it from one side of the festival to the other. AC Slater b2b Tchami brought down the house with night bass that had the crowd dancing out of the exits. No matter where you looked or went, there was amazing music and great places to vibe out.
Atmosphere
Nocturnal Wonderland at Glen Helen Amphitheater is always an amazing festival. In the canyon surrounded by mountains, there is an incredible view wherever you look. Each day, there was an stunning sunset before getting to vibe under the stars. It features various areas throughout the festival to relax, including the Rave Cave, a giant tent surrounded by lights in front of the Mystic Wild stage, and the art installations by Dawn Mountain. No matter where you went, there was great music and good vibes.
This year, each stage received some major upgrades. Mystic Wild had even more lasers than previous years, along with a slight redesign of the iconic Nocturnal Wonderland stage itself. Dawn Mountain was a totally new design this year. It had more LED screens for enhanced visuals, but here is where the pyro really shone. You could feel the fire all the way from the back of the crowd! The craziest visuals of the weekend could be found at Aurora Plains. You could stay there and look at the wild visuals for hours while dancing to house music.
Nocturnal Wonderland is a festival that ravers around the world eagerly anticipate every year. If you’re ready for next year, you’re in luck! Tickets for 2026 are currently on sale here. We look forward to seeing you under the stars next year!

Friday: County Fair Flair
Kick off the weekend by channeling your inner farmhand, carnival performer, or retro fairground spirit. From cowgirl boots to quirky props, Friday is about playful Americana energy under the lakeside lights.
Saturday: Squad Spectrum
Saturday calls for your best sea-faring fits. Think pirates, sailors, mermaids, and castaways ready to dance ashore. With Lake Perris as the backdrop, this theme feels perfectly at home — a nautical takeover that blurs fantasy and festival.
Sunday: Squad Spectrum
Rally your crew, pick a color, and go all in. The Sunday Squad Spectrum is a rainbow parade of unity, with groups showing off their collective vibe in full technicolor.
Set Times
Music will run daily from late morning into the early hours, with the main stage anchoring the night while side stages like InnerBass, Coco Cove, and Nakey Island keep the discoveries flowing. Don’t forget: surprise late-night sets are part of the culture here, so expect the unexpected.

With less than a month to go until Lost Lands 2025, the team behind the biggest bass event in North America just released the day-by-day lineup. Moon Lvnding has already prepared the Moon Fvm for Lift Off, and now we’re uncovering what’s on our radar with the full release of the daily lineup.
Wednesday
The Wednesday early arrival party is stacked with talent and makes me lament that I couldn’t squeeze another day off work to make it happen. Those fortunate to make it to Legend Valley for the first day of festivities, look out for a bit of a Wompy Woods 2023 reunion when Trivecta and Kill The Noise grace the stage. This time around, Bro Safari is joining in the fun for a coveted Kill Safari set. Capochino is another name to keep an eye on who’s been crushing it this festival season, and Super Future always brings the vibes to get the party started.
Thursday
STVSH and Flozone triggered our radar systems for Thursday’s pre-party, with wubby OG dubstep on the horizon. Of course, Thursday’s featured attraction is the mega b2b2b with double the action! This year, the mega b2b2b will play on the main Prehistoric Stage as well as the fan-favorite fully-immersive Crater Stage. Who will sneak on the decks and surprise the headbangers this year? Get in early to find out!
Friday
Open the floodgates on Friday, as all the stages open for business. There are quite a few Lost Lands debuts that popped on our radar for Day 1. Bass music mainstay Moody Good makes the trip to Legend Valley for the first time, along with newly-engaged and on-tour Wreckno; long-time Moon Lvnding local fave Bella Renee; and the dark and sinister Nikita, the Wicked, to name a few. Slander has the honor of playing sunset at main stage, which is sure to bring a few tears to the eyes. Good Times Ahead playing a dedicated trap set also registered on our radar.
Saturday
Talking about notable debuts, drum and bass veteran Andy C will play at Lost Lands for the first time, along with fellow British DnB producer Hedex. CloZEE and LSDREAM bring their LZSEE project to vibe out while SVDDEN DEATH brings the carnage with VOYD. The b2b from Mersiv and Smoakland is tracking on our radar along with Jon Casey, Tynan, and Wooli. For the second straight day, the sadbois and sadgirls take over main stage at sunset to see Illenium. Can you believe it’s already been seven years since Excision came out for the world debut of his Illenium collab “Gold (Stupid Love)” at EDC Las Vegas 2018?!
Sunday
Sunday is all about the b2bs, as the feature attraction of dubstep titans Excision and Subtronics share the stage for what will likely be the closing set at the Prehistoric Stage. Another b2b sure to draw big crowds will be Dab The Sky, the collaboration of Dabin and Said The Sky. Don’t sleep on Witching Hour, the joint project of long-time leaders for ladies in bass, Vampa and Jeanie. Two more ladies triggering our radar in 2025 are Alleycvt and Jessica Audiffed. Finally, Deadroom and Stumpi might not be household names, but that’s because they are the alter-ego side projects of Svdden Death and Wooli, respectively.
With tickets over 97% sold out, there is precious little time to waste before Lost Lands gets started in less than a month. The early arrival events start on Wednesday, September 17, and the main event begins on Friday, September 19. The Crater Stage returns with a bigger floor plan, along with more food options at Wompy Woods and updates to the production at all stages. Lost Lands 2025 looks better than ever, so lock in with its social media to stay on top of all the updates leading up to the event.
Year 30 of Nocturnal Wonderland beckons as ravers around the world prepare to gather at the legendary Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernidino, California, on September 13 + 14. Insomniac did not disappoint with a stacked lineup and unmatched production to keep you dancing throughout the night. Let’s take a look at the highlights from the 2025 lineup and then review a few tips and tricks to get you through the weekend.
Day 1 features big names and exclusive b2b over a wide range of genres. At the Mystic Wild stage, Axwell, Eric Prydz, and the first big b2b Waxtroda (Matroda b2b Wax Motif) take place. At Dawn Mountain, hosted by Bassrush, check out Jessica Audifred b2b Riot Ten, Cyclops b2b Calcium, and Wooli. Aurora Plains, hosted by Insomniac Records, is graced by the legends MK and Skream.
Day 2 goes even deeper with talent. Mystic Wild hosts Benny Benassi for a sunset set, Seven Lions, and Zedd. Then over at Dawn Mountain, you can catch Kai Wachi, Level Up, and Sullivan King to headbang the night away. Aurora Plains has the bass house legends AC Slater b2b Tchami, San Pacho, and Kyle Watson. Good news for everyone undecided on which stage to go to; Insomniac made sure to provide efficient paths to travel between the stages to avoid traffic and congestion.
If you are camping, you’re in luck because campers have their own dedicated entrance and exit. This will help alleviate traffic flow issues on the way into the festival. The camping entrance/exit is located next to Mystic Wind and the Starlight Trail. We highly recommend getting in early to walk through the Starlight Trail before any of your sets. The installation is home to Firefly Forest and other awesome, vibey areas with Insomniac’s top-tier production that you won’t want to miss.
For those driving or taking the shuttle, you will enter near Aurora Plains. If you are driving, ensure you leave your hotel, Airbnb, or house early. This will help you get a better parking spot to save time on that long walk from the lot to the entrance. Make sure to also take a picture of a landmark near where you park so that you can find your vehicle for a smooth exit at the end of the night.
Navigating Nocturnal Wonderland is rather easy compared to other festivals. Once you enter the festival, Mystic Wind is on the far left, Dawn Mountain is on the far right, and Aurora Plains is in the middle of them both. If you have VIP, there’s a new VIP walkway in between the Aurora Plains and Mystic Wind stages. But be sure to explore the festival grounds, as it is easy to get sucked into only the stages at the festival. Nocturnal has some amazing art installations, and if you have never been, you need to find the Rave Cave. It’s always a fun experience.
There are only three weeks until the 30th anniversary of one of SoCal’s most beloved festivals. Good news, tickets are still available. Don’t miss out on this year’s historic Nocturnal event. As always, be nice to each other, drink some water, eat some food, and if you are driving, please do so safely. We look forward to seeing you at Glen Helen under the stars for Nocturnal Wonderland 2025!

For House fans, Disco Lines, Fisher, Kaskade, Loud Luxury, Steve Aoki, and Zedd will keep attendees moving all night. The team at Elements Music & Arts Festival deserves recognition for exceeding expectations and delivering on the site upgrades for this year’s event. The new location for an enlarged Water Stage allowed for four top-tier stages featuring over 100 artists on the weekend, creating a lifetime of memories. Over 30,000 festivalgoers enjoyed Elements, stamping it as the biggest and best EDM camping festival in the Northeast.
The festival was such a smashing success, it is hard to know where to begin. For Moon Lvnding, the weekend started by heading to the new off-site box office to pick up tickets, and it was a much smoother experience with much shorter waits than previous years. After a quick stop to get our wristbands and parking decal, we headed to the site for Thursday’s pre-party and a first glimpse of the new Water Stage location.
The Water Stage felt spacious with all the added room, and the laser production looked amazing at night. Although the stage isn’t a full 360 setup anymore, the extra space for more people to enjoy the bass is a huge win in our book. The b2b performances sounded great from the horde of talented Koru Group artists on the lineup and gave a good preview of what to expect from the Water Stage over the weekend. The only shift in coverage for Moon Lvnding this year was a switch to off-site housing, which meant sacrificing after-party action for nightly uploads with WiFi.

With Water Stage moving out of the forest, Air Stage was the only stage set up in the trees. But that didn’t stop Elements from bringing amazing artwork and production to the Neon Forest. Air Stage still had an intimate feel from its secluded location, sporting elevated tables and lofty trees, but now with more to do and see in the surrounding areas. Kaskade’s redux set at sunset was a vibe at Fire Stage. Later, Sidepiece and Wax Motif had the house tunes bumping to close out Air Stage on Day 1.
Then on Day 2, I don’t think I’ve ever seen or heard the Air Stage go as hard as it did for Mary Droppinz. She brought the bass, and the crowd ate it up! However, most of our Day 2 was spent at the Water Stage, basking in the aura of delectible dubstep. Capochino got our day started with a jolt of energy, and DRINKURWATER kept us hydrated for the next hour.
We detoured to Earth Stage for Boogie T.rio and Alleycvt, setting up shop near the back of the crowd. Elements strategically placed metal art constructions in this area, which allowed fans to climb on them for an elevated view. After Alleycvt’s set, we returned to see Deathpact and Wooli close out Water Stage. Once again, Wooli delivered one of my favorite performances of the weekend with a bunch of VIPs to keep his festival set fresh.

One way Elements truly differentiates itself from other festivals is its after parties. The festival supports its Vibe Villages (think of them like group camps) and empowers them to host late-night performances after the festival grounds close. There were so many successful Vibe Villages, it would be tough to name them all. But an honorable mention goes out to @renegade.nyc for hosting the most talked-about after-hours set of the weekend: Pretty Lights playing at sunrise. While other festivals we’ve attended go out of their way to limit the late-night afters and shut down renegades, Elements doubles down in support of its Vibe Villages and creates opportunities for once-in-a-lifetime memories!
Another way Elements stands out is the diverse food options available over the weekend. Everything I ate at Elements was delicious, and it’s nice to know that the vendors can take advantage of the fresh organic produce grown next door to the festival site at Pocono Organics. The health and wellness options also improved in 2025, from spa services and a beauty bar to sunrise yoga and evening sound baths. There were costume parades and element themes each day for people to design outfits. These are the small details that bloom into huge swells of support.
Finally, Sunday served up more memories as Pretty Lights and Tipper left their marks on Elements 2025. From the numerous people we spoke to, Tipper’s set at Elements was one of his best performances in recent memory. He was at his beat-scratching best, treating festivalgoers to an epic experience. Pretty Lights also played a pair of sets: the first solo and the second with live drums and instrumentation. Elements pulled off the perfect festival finale as Pretty Lights ended Elements in style.
