Mission Success: Beyond Wonderland SoCal 2026

Beyond Wonderland SoCal provided another glorious journey down the rabbit hole. In 2026, we enjoyed fireworks, big-name artists everywhere, side quests all around the festival grounds, and Mad Hatter parties on stage!

A few new additions to this year’s Beyond were drone shows every night, along with the fireworks. On theme, the Mad Hatter would bring out Time, Alice, and friends to jump in and DJ for 10 minutes between the final two artists of the night. The crowd loved the Mad Hatter! People were smiling, taking videos, and dancing around for the occasion. Let’s check out the stages of the West Coast’s favorite start to festival season, Beyond Wonderland.

Queen’s Domain

The main stage of Beyond never disappoints in design, hosting the biggest names across multiple genres. On Day 1, Chyl brought her high-octane bpms, and it’s Murph bought the bass and vibes. Alison Wonderland had the crowd grooving before getting closed out with sets from two legends, Steve Angello and Tiesto.

Day 2 started with “Cinema” OG, Benny Benassi, taking a trip back to the classics. Deorro got the people dancing, then Slander had ’em headbanging. Zedd made it happen for the closing set, sending Queen’s Domain out in style and giving everyone some “Clarity” heading home.

This year’s stage design immersed the headliners in the land of Beyond. The huge LED wall behind the DJ and the Queen’s heart centerpiece created an amazing backdrop for the artists. The accompanying lasers, lights, and pyrotechnics made it hard to ever leave.

Caterpillar’s Garden

Lost in Dreams hosted Day 1 at Caterpillar’s Garden with the opening party performed by LA’s own, Valentino Khan. Lost in Dreams is all about the melodic bass music and the label delivered! Performances by Yetep, Trivecta, Armnhmr, and Dabin to close had festivalgoers singing, dancing, and crying together all night.

On Day 2, Caterpillar’s Garden was hosted by Insomniac Records, with a completely different house vibe. Ian Asher played b2b with Wuki for the opening party, and this stage brought non-stop house hits from some longtime label stalwarts like Omnom, Noizu, Sonny Fodera, and Matroda. The green garden vibes made for a beautiful scene as everyone danced the night away.

Mad Hatter’s Castle

The Mad Hatter fittingly hosted the bass heads all weekend. It started with trap beats from YDG, and continued with insane bass in sets by Restricted, Hedex, and Holy Priest. The energy during those three was unmatched throughout the weekend. ATLiens got the crowd even more wound up before GRiZ made his triumphant return to Beyond.

Bassrush hosted Day 2, and once again, the Mad Hatter did not disappoint. Rising solo act, ProbCause came out strong, followed by GorillaT. Then Layz played one of the heaviest sets of the weekend. The bass continued to flow with a b2b from Eptic and Space Laces, then heavyweight titans Sullivan King, Black Tiger Sex Machine, and LA’s favorite big man, DJ Diesel.

Cheshire Woods

Hardstyle found its home in Cheshire Woods as Basscon hosted Day 1. With arguably the coolest stage design featuring lasers shooting out all around a cathedral setting, the energy was non-stop. Legends littered the lineup with Lady Faith, Sub Zero Project, Brennan Heart, and the king of BPM, Lil Texas.

Bringing a completely different vibe, Dreamstate took over the woods on Day 2. Trance’s biggest names were out in force. Cold Blue, Giuseppe Ottavianni + Ian Bluestone, and laser king Gareth Emery all played on the Dreamstate lineup with iconic duo Vini Vici to end the weekend.

The Looking Glass

Factory 93 hosted both days at The Looking Glass, which meant techno all night, every night. Gracing the stage were Trym, Layton Giordani, Klangkuenstler, Lilly Palmer, Hi-Lo, and Nico Moreno playing the closing set on Day 2. The techno vibes were alive and well, with pyrotechnics firing out from all over the stage and a diamond-shaped disco ball made from LED walls behind the booth.

Sea of Wonder

This stage was located between the Queen’s Domain and the Mad Hatter’s Castle inside the hanger. It was unique in that it was the only stage inside, insulating the sound from the other areas. Day 1 was hosted by Night Trip and supplied the grooves with Murphy’s Law, Loco Dice, and Nicole Moudaber.

Day 2 was hosted by RNBW and featured some big names from the drum and bass world. Getting the crowd moving and energy at an all-time high, the likes of Justin Hawkes, Grafix, Delta Heavy, and Shy Fx doing the honors.

The Rabbit Hole

Besides the music, Beyond Wonderland has many more experiences to offer. Inside the Beatbox hangar, there was a full-on tea party. One could sit down and hang out with cast members, take pictures on the throne, and relax under a tree.

Insomniac also brought out the carnival rides like the Ferris Wheel, swings, and the parade of the Mad Hatter and friends. There were notable art installations, like the Mad Hatter’s Hat of Fire. For those lucky to find the correct door outside of the Mad Hatter stage, there was even a secret hidden stage! To help with connectivity, there were two new Wi-Fi centers at the festival, so people could better make plans with their friends.

End Overdose

Another important resource at Beyond Wonderland this year was a tent from End Overdose, next to the main stage. I met with the CEO and got some awesome highlights on how they make the festival safe. They have trained over 700,000 ravers on what to do if they see someone overdosing and have distributed over 750,000 Narcan devices.

At the information booth, they train people on the four-step process of recognizing the signs of overdose, how to seek help, how to administer Narcan, how to perform rescue breathing, and the laws that protect people who try to help. At the end of the training, each person receives a certificate for completing the program.

All things considered, Beyond Wonderland SoCal is a festival that ravers around the world look forward to starting the spring festival season. You can already reserve your spot for 2027. Moon Lvnding is already looking forward to our trip down the rabbit hole next year!

Beyond Wonderland Returns To The Windy City

Beyond Wonderland Chicago returns to the Windy City on June 6 + 7 at Huntington Bank Pavilion for its 3rd year. Its diverse lineup features artists from many different genres, so there is something for everyone. Huntington Bank Pavilion is a stunning venue in the heart of Chicago on Northerly Island. It features a jaw-dropping view of the Chicago Skyline and is easily accessible via public transportation, including the CTA “L” trains.

The lineup features iconic duo Zeds Dead, who released a new album in 2025 titled Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness. This unique name is inspired by a dream that DC recalled, where a voice stated that exact phrase. The album blends nostalgia with melodic sounds and features the popular tune “Channel Flipping,” which combines music with an old television flipping through different channels.

The lineup also features Grammy-winning artist Zedd, known for many pop songs including “The Middle,” “Clarity,” and “I Want You to Know.” With his familiar lyrics and energetic production, this will be a performance that gets the entire crowd to sing their hearts out.

Popular producer San Holo is also included in this lineup, featuring his Wholesome Riddim set, which he debuted back at Lost Lands 2024. San Holo broke through with classics “Light” and “We Rise,” which have had a huge impact on the music scene. San Holo is also known for spreading positivity throughout his performances and inspiring the audience while bringing them joy.

This wonderful lineup also features a must-see back-to-back set featuring ACRAZE and Wax Motif, who debuted this b2b at Insomniac’s Project Glow in 2024. Both of these talented artists will work together to craft another unforgettable set. There are so many more talented artists on this lineup, so these acts are just the tip of the iceberg.

Of course, along with a star-studded lineup, Insomniac brings its industry-defining stage design and production teams to create the Beyond Wonderland thematic experiences. Just take a peek at last year’s Mission Success to get an idea of what Beyond Wonderland Chicago is like. If this event sounds like a good time, which it most certainly is, then don’t wait and get your event passes sooner than later for the best deals.

Walking through the ominous entrance was like stepping into a ghostly realm. The atmosphere was electric, pulsing with a thrilling blend of excitement and dread. Five haunting stages awaited, each designed to captivate and mesmerize. The very first stop, the Big Top, set the tone for the evening. This iconic stage vibrated with exhilarating sets that echoed through the night, featuring Marshmellow B2B DJ Snake, Deorro, Sidepiece, and Dimitri Vegas.

Among the unforgettable stages was  Sewer District, a hidden enclave pulsing with pyrotechnic eruptions and lasers that lit up the night sky. Another standout feature of Sewer District was the drone light shows oozing into the night sky. This was the place to be, especially when San Holo delivered an unforgettable Wholesome Riddim set. Jessica Audifred whipped the mosh pits into a frenzy, while Nghtmre B2B Peekaboo offered spine-tingling sets that perfectly balanced eerie charm and high-energy beats. As ghosts and ghouls roamed, ATLiens turned heads in their outrageous blow-up bikini costumes. Every performance left attendees breathless, each as chilling as the night air.

The chaos continued to surge through the night, particularly at the Feeding Grounds stage. A single misstep could land you front row with hard-hitting sets from Angerfist, Kayzo, and Dual Damage. Lift Off: Nocturnal Wonderland 2025

Year 30 of Nocturnal Wonderland beckons as ravers around the world prepare to gather at the legendary Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernidino, California, on September 13 + 14. Insomniac did not disappoint with a stacked lineup and unmatched production to keep you dancing throughout the night. Let’s take a look at the highlights from the 2025 lineup and then review a few tips and tricks to get you through the weekend.

Day 1 features big names and exclusive b2b over a wide range of genres. At the Mystic Wild stage, Axwell, Eric Prydz, and the first big b2b Waxtroda (Matroda b2b Wax Motif) take place. At Dawn Mountain, hosted by Bassrush, check out Jessica Audifred b2b Riot Ten, Cyclops b2b Calcium, and Wooli. Aurora Plains, hosted by Insomniac Records, is graced by the legends MK and Skream.

Day 2 goes even deeper with talent. Mystic Wild hosts Benny Benassi for a sunset set, Seven Lions, and Zedd. Then over at Dawn Mountain, you can catch Kai Wachi, Level Up, and Sullivan King to headbang the night away. Aurora Plains has the bass house legends AC Slater b2b Tchami, San Pacho, and Kyle Watson. Good news for everyone undecided on which stage to go to; Insomniac made sure to provide efficient paths to travel between the stages to avoid traffic and congestion.

If you are camping, you’re in luck because campers have their own dedicated entrance and exit. This will help alleviate traffic flow issues on the way into the festival. The camping entrance/exit is located next to Mystic Wind and the Starlight Trail. We highly recommend getting in early to walk through the Starlight Trail before any of your sets. The installation is home to Firefly Forest and other awesome, vibey areas with Insomniac’s top-tier production that you won’t want to miss.

For those driving or taking the shuttle, you will enter near Aurora Plains. If you are driving, ensure you leave your hotel, Airbnb, or house early. This will help you get a better parking spot to save time on that long walk from the lot to the entrance. Make sure to also take a picture of a landmark near where you park so that you can find your vehicle for a smooth exit at the end of the night.

Navigating Nocturnal Wonderland is rather easy compared to other festivals. Once you enter the festival, Mystic Wind is on the far left, Dawn Mountain is on the far right, and Aurora Plains is in the middle of them both. If you have VIP, there’s a new VIP walkway in between the Aurora Plains and Mystic Wind stages. But be sure to explore the festival grounds, as it is easy to get sucked into only the stages at the festival. Nocturnal has some amazing art installations, and if you have never been, you need to find the Rave Cave. It’s always a fun experience.

There are only three weeks until the 30th anniversary of one of SoCal’s most beloved festivals. Good news, tickets are still available. Don’t miss out on this year’s historic Nocturnal event. As always, be nice to each other, drink some water, eat some food, and if you are driving, please do so safely. We look forward to seeing you at Glen Helen under the stars for Nocturnal Wonderland 2025!

Mission Success: Beyond Wonderland Chicago

Beyond Wonderland Chicago succeeded again in its return to the Windy City. Insomniac got the whole city dancing with a variety of talented artists playing across four stages. The Caterpillar’s Garden and Cheshire Woods stages were set up in large tents this year. Each tent featured a spacious dance floor along with a VIP viewing section. This was a great way to escape the windy weather and see some great performances.

D.O.D had the crowd dancing on day one at the Caterpillar’s Garden when he played a fan-favorite song, “Still Sleepless.” Caterpillar’s Garden was hosted by Insomniac Records on Day 1 and Day Trip on Day 2. It featured a mix of house and techno artists throughout the festival. While Cheshire Woods also utilized a large tent, it had more of a melodic bass lineup with artists such as ARMNHMR and Netsky that made the audience feel like they were entering another dimension.

The Queen’s Domain was located by the entrance and hosted headliners such as Illenium and Marshmello. It featured a large general admission section with VIP viewing sections on both sides. There was a 3-story VIP tent on the right side of the stage with couches, a private bar, and complimentary treats and trinkets. The different stories gave guests a beautiful view of the stage and the stunning Chicago skyline in the back.

Slander performed an amazing set there on Day 1 which had the whole audience screaming the lyrics to their songs. Marshmello followed by headlining Queen’s Domain with a high-energy set where he remixed his hit songs “Come and Go” and “Alone.” This was also the stage where Illenium headlined on Day 2 and poured his heart into a very emotional performance. He ended the set with a remix of his hit “Good Things Fall Apart,” which had the crowd singing their hearts out.

Mad Hatter’s Castle brought so much energy to the festival, showcasing dubstep and trap. Crankdat, Wooli, and Ganja White Night played here on Day 1 when it was hosted by Bassrush. On Day 2, AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo also performed an insane B2B set called Fly With Us. There was a very spacious general admission area with amazing views of the lasers. This stage also featured a special VIP section on the side that included bean bags as well as lockers and charging stations exclusively for VIP ticket holders.

In addition to these four amazing stages, there were a variety of vendors and booths. BeatBox was giving out complimentary fans, towels, and scrunchies. Electrolit gave out free samples to keep everyone hydrated. There was even a tent called Oasis, which was the perfect place to calm down and relax during the festival. Full of bean bags and calming activities like coloring, this was the perfect place to take a break and recharge. Ground Control staff monitored the area and kept it a safe space for everyone.

On top of all of the stages and booths, there were carnival rides in the center of the festival. Both the Ferris Wheel and the swing carousel had beautiful views of both the festival and the Chicago skyline from the very top.

There were some unfortunate circumstances regarding the weather on Day 2 due to lightning in the area, but Insomniac handled everything effectively, keeping its guests safe while also doing everything they could to keep the festival going. The festival had to shut down for about an hour due to safety guidelines revolving around the lighting while guests sheltered around the venue. However, as soon as it was safe to reopen the gates, the festival resumed quickly, and the energy returned in full force.

Overall, Beyond Wonderland Chicago was a huge success. From the creativity involved in the stage production and the amazing artist performances, to the staff working tirelessly to make sure each guest was having fun and staying safe from the weather. Not even a storm could rain on our wonderland!
