Launch Guide: Apocalypse Zombieland 2025

Zombies are taking over Southern California once again as Apocalypse Zombieland returns for its third year. SoCal’s biggest bass festival returns to the Queen Mary in Long Beach on November 28–29, bringing a stacked lineup featuring Illenium, ATLiens, Excision, and a massive 13 back-to-back sets on the lineup—one of the festival’s most unique calling cards. With so much chaos to explore, we’ve broken down everything you need to know to maximize your weekend.

The Stages

This year, Apocalypse Zombieland expands across four stages: Apocalypse Arena, Zombieland Citadel, Necropolis District, and Quarantine Zone, each offering its own atmosphere and sound.

Apocalypse Arena

The festival’s main stage sits on the far-left side of the venue, right beside the Queen Mary. Expect huge moments all weekend long—Wooli and Witching Hour (Jeanie b2b Vampa) take over Friday, followed by Ganja White Night and a crushing Excision set on Saturday. If you’re chasing the biggest production and the heaviest drops, this is your spot.

Zombieland Citadel

On the opposite end of the grounds and perched on the water, Zombieland Citadel gives you the perfect backdrop to catch the sunset before the madness begins. Saturday hosts Nero and Funtcase b2b Midnight Tyrannosaurus, while Sunday brings NGHTMRE, Ghengar, and Kill Safari (Kill The Noise & Bro Safari). Expect a mix of gritty and full-throttle bass.

Necropolis District

Situated between Apocalypse Arena and Zombieland Citadel, Necropolis District is built between towering shipping containers and delivers non-stop energy. Saturday brings Andy C and Bou b2b Kanine, while Sunday features ÆON:MODE b2b Delta Heavy and Alpha:Omega (AC13 b2b Reaper). If high BPMs are your calling, you’ll feel right at home here.

Quarantine Zone

The first stage you’ll see when entering the festival is the Quarantine Zone, and it’s loaded with b2b action. Saturday features Benda b2b OG Nixon and Hexx b2b Otsukare; Sunday delivers Blurrd Vzn b2b Slang Dogs along with a set from Eprom. This stage hits so hard you’ll forget you ever planned to leave.

Attractions & Afterparty

Beyond the music, Apocalypse Zombieland is packed with immersive activations. Don’t miss Dead Ted, the roaming Motorcycle Gang, the Globe of Death, and the fiery chaos of Scorched Alley—all perfect for photo ops and a breather between sets.

When the main stages shut down, the party continues aboard the historic Queen Mary. Saturday’s afterparty features Boogie T, Funtcase, OG Nixon, and more, while Sunday’s lineup brings Blanke, Mary Droppinz, and Friction b2b Gentlemens Club, to name a few.

Final Tips

Arrive early. Everyone must shuttle in from the parking lot/Uber drop-off, which can take time. With limited tickets still available for both the festival and the afterparty, now’s the time to lock in your weekend.

If you’re a basshead, this is a two-day apocalypse you won’t want to miss. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and we’ll see you headbanging among the undead.
