Sara Landry Enters Her “GIRLBOSS” Era

Sara Landry is officially stepping into her GIRLBOSS era. The long-awaited ID that’s had fans begging her to release it since Coachella 2025 is finally out now on Insomniac Records. With each release, Sara Landry continues to show why she is the ‘High Priestess of Hard Techno.”

Once dubbed “Coachelladub.wav,” “GIRLBOSS” delivers everything fans have come to expect from Landry and more. Its bouncing bassline and driving kick are instantly addictive, pairing her production skills with fierce feminine energy. The final release differs slightly from the early demo. Landry revealed on Instagram that she “needed to rebuild the track because of an Ableton VST issue.”

Beyond producing the track, Landry wrote the lyrics and laid down her own vocals. One of the most memorable bars, “I flow so hard my doctors say I’ve got menorrhagia,” perfectly captures her biting humor and fearless originality. In the track’s final minute, the energy shifts into a more trance-inspired groove, giving the listener a moment to catch their breath.

Built for the massive sound systems of mainstages, “GIRLBOSS” has already proven its power at Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, and Hard Summer. It follows her August release of Havana Bounce,” another long-teased ID fans couldn’t get enough of. Now all eyes are on her to release her remix of Lady Gaga’s “Perfect Celebrity.”

Fans can catch Landry dropping “GIRLBOSS” live at The Sphere in Las Vegas next Friday or later this year at Decadence Arizona. Looking ahead, she’s also set to go B2B with Amelie Lens at Ultra 2026, a performance that’s already generating massive buzz.

Nikita, the Wicked Unleashes Villanous New Single “LOOK”

Dance music’s villain conductor, Nikita, the Wicked, just unleashed “LOOK” with Emi Grace on Helix Records. The single marks the first tease from his forthcoming EP, slated for release this November. “LOOK” embodies Nikita’s signature orchestral chaos—shapeshifting classical samples into a powerful, bass-driven tune that fuses high drama with raw energy. The track not only blurs genre lines but also delivers the dark, cinematic edge that has become his unmistakable trademark.

Nikita has earned a reputation as one of bass music’s most electrifying performers. He has ignited festivals like Lost Lands, Project Glow, and Escapade in Canada with explosive sets. Along the way, he opened for Zeds Dead, REZZ, Illenium, Levity, ALLEYCVT, SLANDER, NGHTMRE, and Trivecta. In the studio, he earned respect through official collaborations and a remix for Louis the Child. Nikita constantly pushes boundaries live and in production, cementing his cinematic, villainous style.

Nikita’s vision stretches far beyond the stage. Guided by his mantra—“finding the beauty in the imperfect, the elegance in the twisted, the grace within the chaos”—he creates worlds that are visually striking and sonically daring. He draws inspiration from surrealist master Salvador Dalí and underground hip-hop icon MF DOOM, fusing surrealism, global culture, and bass music. The result is a brand unapologetically defined by beautiful darkness.

He commented, “I really enjoy the juxtaposition of the eerie choir sample from the 1900s and UKG drums on this track! Emi’s vocals provided a lot of space in the mix which makes this such a unique yet minimal bass record. This record will be the first glimpse of this villainous conductor character I have created.”

“LOOK” signals the start of Nikita’s next chapter. The forthcoming EP promises more cinematic chaos, theatrical production, and genre-defying bass. Fans can stream the single now on Spotify, Apple Music, and all major platforms. Nikita is also bringing his villainous energy to stages nationwide on his upcoming tour, delivering high-octane, unforgettable performances. Don’t miss the chance to witness Nikita, the Wicked, in full effect—both on record and live.

After a decade-long hiatus from full-length projects, Modestep is back and better than ever! Renowned for his electrifying fusion of live instrumentation and electronic production, Modestep burst onto the scene in the early 2010s. He captivated audiences with his unique blend of dubstep, rock, and drum & bass. His high-octane performances and genre-defying tracks set him apart in the music world. Now, he’s set to reclaim his spot with a fresh perspective. Modestep unveils his most ambitious work yet, the eagerly awaited Give Up The Ghost.

This album, rich in concept and diverse in sound, delves into the complex themes of creativity, technology, and the emotional baggage we carry into the future. As Modestep’s artistry continues to evolve, he seamlessly blends emotional songwriting with production, traversing genres from drum & bass to synthwave and electronic rock.

The highly anticipated lead single “Limerence (feat. Cassyette)” captures the intoxicating rush of euphoric, obsessive love. One that burns brightly but fast. The dynamic production pairs brilliantly with lyrics that evoke vivid imagery. “Hotter days, hotter nights / chemicals in our minds” alongside the soaring hook, “show you how high we can go / all the way up.”

“‘Give Up The Ghost’ is a dark look at the future of the music industry, where AI will be abused to take the role of human artists. Will it create depressed robots? Will systems fall in love? Will organic music prevail? With my innovative use of live instruments and blend of drum & bass, dubstep & rock, I set out to create a soundscape for a dystopian world that may be here sooner than expected.” – Modestep

Tape B & Effin Reimagine Amy Winehouse’s Iconic “Back to Black”

Tape B is known for his hard-hitting, nostalgic flips of hip-hop staples, including remixes of TLC’s “No Scrubs,” A$AP Rocky’s “Peso” and “Goldie.” Having built a reputation for putting a fresh spin on timeless classics, he can now add Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” to the list, teaming up with Effin for a bass-driven reimagining. After months of anticipation, the track has finally arrived!

Amy Winehouse’s “Back to Black” is widely recognized as one of her most raw and relatable tracks, with lyrics that echo themes of heartbreak, self-destruction, and addiction. Tape B and Effin’s spin preserves that emotional vulnerability while layering in dynamic drops and sharp basslines. Serving as both a tribute and a modern, forward-thinking rework, the track perfectly balances her timeless vocals with beats ready for the dance floor.

Both Effin and Tape B were at Excision’s Lost Lands this year for the United States’ biggest bass music festivals. Friday’s attendees had the pleasure of hearing the new “Back to Black” flip, with both artists on the Prehistoric Stage during Tape B’s set. Check out a clip from the set below!

If you weren’t able to catch “Back to Black” at Lost Lands this year, don’t worry – Tape B isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Having recently announced Phase 2 of “The Soundtrack to Everything” tour, he has shows planned through December 19, with stops in Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, New York, California, and more. This insane run of shows will feature support from Cool Customer, know good, MPH, Saka B2B Fly, PHRVA, STVSH, Super Future, Ashez, cozykev, and RSUN. ALLEYCVT Drops Highly Anticipated Debut EP ‘9 LIVES’

For those of us who weren’t at Lost Lands, we missed one of the biggest announcements of the year: ALLEYCVT is officially dropping her new EP 9 LIVES, and it’s here today. As an electronic music producer, vocalist, and songwriter, ALLEYCVT has had an incredible year. This EP reflects her transformation and evolution as an artist.

More than just a collection of songs, this project represents the different “lives” of ALLEYCVT as she navigates her journey both personally and artistically. It explores themes of perseverance, vulnerability, and self-discovery.

Fans got a little taste of the EP back in August with the first track “SO DAMN GOOD.” This track is a perfect example of ALLEYCVT’s ability to blend emotional depth with bass-heavy, hard-hitting drops. Today, she also unveiled the tracks “ALIVE,” “OTHER SIDE,” “NOVOCAINE,” and “FALL INTO YOU.” Each track is designed as both a personal narrative and a collective experience, connecting listeners through cycles of grief, loss, and renewal.

9 LIVES embodies everything I’ve ever wanted to be as an artist,” said ALLEYCVT. “During my journey, I had started writing my initial EP, and it just didn’t resonate with me. I made the choice to get back in the studio after tour and rediscover where I wanted to take the ALLEYCVT project.”

“With 9 LIVES,” ALLEYCVT continues, “I finally feel like it gives a taste of everything I’m into musically & has allowed me to develop my production & sound even more. I’m extremely proud of this project, and I feel like there’s something for everyone on this EP!”

ALLEYCVT is taking 9 LIVES on the road with a full schedule of shows and festivals across the globe, from California to London to Mexico. Fans can catch her on September 28 at Same Same But Different (Perris, CA), October 10 at Seven Stars Festival (Arrington, VA), November 1 at Haunted Fest (Newport, KY), November 9 at EDC Orlando (Orlando, FL), and her largest headlining show to date, SUPERSONIC BALLROOM on December 6 (Denver, CO), among many more. You “NEED 2 KNOW” About FISE’s New Single

FISE is giving listeners goosebumps this Friday with a new, chilling single, “NEED 2 KNOW.”  The mid-tempo bass masterpiece features FISE’s signature cinematic sound supported by powerful, thrilling build-ups that lead to haunting drops. He combines distorted basslines with perfectly placed percussion to deliver a hair-raising experience for listeners.

The beginning build focuses on creating an eerie tension, before the beat drops into a hot and heavy club groove. “NEED 2 KNOW” wraps up with a dynamically layered second drop, tying it all together incredibly.

The Canadian-born producer is a double threat in the electronic music game, conceptualizing and producing all of his own visuals. His ominous tracks perfectly pair with sinister art that helps drive home his dark aesthetic. FISE often collaborates with artists of similar aesthetics and genres to help create visuals unique to their sound and persona. Joining forces with big names such as Rezz and SVDDEN DEATH, FISE’s reputation for visual production is undeniably impressive.

“NEED 2 KNOW” will release via HypnoVizion, a record label founded by Rezz. This will be his second single release with the label, following last year’s “AVARICE.” Other projects with the label include his collaborations with X1-Y2 and EDDIE, whom he has also done production work for.

His double-threat status is just one impressive quality among many. Creative peers also recognize him for finding organic success with 2020 track, “Ridin.’” By his own volition, he landed the track a spot on Spotify’s notorious bass playlist “Bass Arcade.” Since then, the track has amassed over 1 million streams.

FISE’s inaugural performance was on the mainstage at SVDDEN DEATH’s 2022 Summoning Of The Eclipse festival in Austin, Texas. Days later, he played a supporting set at Rezz Rocks in Morrison, Colorado.

FISE is a hidden gem for dark electronic dance music fans, and he’s moving up quickly. Listen to “NEED 2 KNOW” below.

YOOKiE Electrifies Rock Classics On ‘The Dark Side of the Trash’

YOOKiE‘s new EP, The Dark Side of the Trash, reveals six flips of iconic rock classics. While maintaining rock’s free-spirited nature, YOOKiE adds their bass-ridden touch for a unique experience with Deadbeats – a label by Zeds Dead.

New York-based brothers Anthony and Chris Alfaro are no strangers to the careful mixing involved with handling such renowned samples. Throughout the EP, the duo effortlessly maintains the soul of rock hits while completely altering their soundscapes.

Several tracks on the EP were previously released as singles and set the bar high for what was to come. Namely, YOOKiE’s original “SUNSHiNE OF YOUR WUB,” which has nearly 10 million streams across platforms.

“SEVEN NATiON ARMY,” “BULLS ON PARADE,” and Nirvana’s “COME AS YOU ARE,” are the newest tracks of the EP. Truthfully, YOOKiE saved the best for last with this Deadbeats release. From working in the mixing booth to constructing the track list, the duo put every bit of intention into its planning.

YOOKiE’s spin on The White Stripes’ “SEVEN NATiON ARMY,” is the most adrenaline-packed and varied, keeping listeners guessing and gasping. Since it reflects the breakneck nature of the EP, it serves as a perfect opener for the rollercoaster ahead.

After setting the stage, YOOKiE unleashes the most intense track with their Rage Against the Machine flip. Arguably the climax, “BULLS ON PARADE,” featuring Code: Pandorum, is the heaviest song and is packed with brutality. It fits perfectly in the middle of the track list and submerges fans in YOOKiE’s sound. The mosh pit-inducing nature pulls listeners in and encourages them to embrace the rage.

Because they curate each track carefully, fans of every rock genre find something to love, from grunge to metal. Even a Beastie Boys flip is on the release, paying homage to their home state of New York.

YOOKiE plays “FiGHT FOR YOUR RiGHT” at Academy LA in Los Angeles on May 2.

YOOKiE takes their fresh EP on the road for The Dark Side of the Trash tour. Next, their 15-date run across the United States stops in Washington, D.C. on Sep. 24.

YOOKiE seamlessly merges electronic music and rock, despite little common ground, and maintains a unique production style while doing it. Listen to The Dark Side of the Trash below.

SIPPY Unleashes “Killa” With Bianca On Deadbeats

Sydney-born bass music powerhouse SIPPY teams up with Deadbeats for her second single off the forthcoming album Scars in Stereo. Delivering the explosive track “Killa” feat. Bianca, this emotional pop-infused dance tune weaves Bianca’s entrancing vocals with powerful bass drops and hypnotic soundscapes. A true testament to SIPPY’s ability to balance raw energy with haunting beauty. SIPPY shares,

‘Killa’ is my unapologetic anthem — driven by the kind of self-talk I had to master to get here. When Bianca sent me the initial idea for this song, I knew it was the missing piece of my album. As an Aussie, tall poppy syndrome trains you to downplay your ambition and success. This track is about stepping into my power, owning my moment, and not waiting for permission to take the spotlight.

SIPPY portrait

Arriving in tandem with her Scars in Stereo national tour and a run of high-profile festival appearances, “Killa” underscores a pivotal moment in SIPPY’s career. Renowned for her high-impact performances and genre-defying sound design, she continues to carve her own lane in the global bass scene—proving with every release why she remains one of the most exciting artists to watch.

Now based in Los Angeles, SIPPY has built her reputation as an international treasure in bass music. She transitioned from supporting acts like Zeds Dead and Excision to commanding her own headline shows. Her releases on Deadbeats, Bassrush, and UKF highlight her authority across bass music’s biggest labels. With a packed summer ahead, SIPPY will dominate festivals like ÎLESONIQ, Bass Canyon, and Dancefestopia. “Killa” promises to deliver high-energy performances that captivate fans and convert new listeners instantly. It’s clear she’s not slowing down anytime soon—and we’re here for it.

GRiZ and GRYFFIN Dropping “Deep Clear Water”

GRiZ and GRYFFIN are giving the people what they want this Friday, and dropping “Deep Clear Water,” after a month of anticipation.

Lollapalooza attendees were the first to hear the track during GRYFFIN’s set at the iconic Perry Stage closing day. Since its debut, fans have been thirsting for its release.

“Deep Clear Water” perfectly meshes GRiZ’s signature bass-funk groove with GRYFFIN’s dynamic and immersive production style.

Their unique sounds together pair perfectly with emotionally-driven lyrics making the drop even more goosebump-inducing. It’s no wonder melodic and bass fans alike have been begging for the ID since it was first played.

For both electronic dance powerhouses, “Deep Clear Water,” follows a long string of successful releases well-received by their audiences.

This is just one of many works GRiZ has rolled out since his return from hiatus in March this year.

With his GEMiNi EP, the May single “Chaos Theory” with Wooli, and now the release of “Deep Clear Water,” GRiZ is gearing up to blow minds at his upcoming sold out shows – including his inaugural Valley of the Seven Stars Festival in Arrington, Virginia.

This upcoming track adds another layer to the elemental theme of GRIFFYN’s recent work. It goes hand-in-hand with his recent sunrise set on Lake Tahoe, and the track “Air” with Excision, featuring Julia Michaels.

GRIFFYN’s next shows take him internationally to Australia and Asia for a plethora of events, including festivals and a trio of headlining dates in Melbourne, Sydney and Fortitude Valley.

Since then, the track has been featured consistently throughout its “Sex Sells” tour and was even mixed during John Summit’s incredible 8-hour Club Space set.

Summit obviously enjoyed spinning the ID, and this morning it was released under Summit’s Experts Only label, following other notable club killers that have received praise from tech-house artists everywhere, such as Disco Lines and Ship Wrek’s “I Don’t Trust A Soul,” and Danny Avila’s “YES B!TCH.”
