ALLEYCVT Drops Highly Anticipated Debut EP ‘9 LIVES’

For those of us who weren’t at Lost Lands, we missed one of the biggest announcements of the year: ALLEYCVT is officially dropping her new EP 9 LIVES, and it’s here today. As an electronic music producer, vocalist, and songwriter, ALLEYCVT has had an incredible year. This EP reflects her transformation and evolution as an artist.

More than just a collection of songs, this project represents the different “lives” of ALLEYCVT as she navigates her journey both personally and artistically. It explores themes of perseverance, vulnerability, and self-discovery.

Fans got a little taste of the EP back in August with the first track “SO DAMN GOOD.” This track is a perfect example of ALLEYCVT’s ability to blend emotional depth with bass-heavy, hard-hitting drops. Today, she also unveiled the tracks “ALIVE,” “OTHER SIDE,” “NOVOCAINE,” and “FALL INTO YOU.” Each track is designed as both a personal narrative and a collective experience, connecting listeners through cycles of grief, loss, and renewal.

9 LIVES embodies everything I’ve ever wanted to be as an artist,” said ALLEYCVT. “During my journey, I had started writing my initial EP, and it just didn’t resonate with me. I made the choice to get back in the studio after tour and rediscover where I wanted to take the ALLEYCVT project.”

“With 9 LIVES,” ALLEYCVT continues, “I finally feel like it gives a taste of everything I’m into musically & has allowed me to develop my production & sound even more. I’m extremely proud of this project, and I feel like there’s something for everyone on this EP!”

ALLEYCVT is taking 9 LIVES on the road with a full schedule of shows and festivals across the globe, from California to London to Mexico. Fans can catch her on September 28 at Same Same But Different (Perris, CA), October 10 at Seven Stars Festival (Arrington, VA), November 1 at Haunted Fest (Newport, KY), November 9 at EDC Orlando (Orlando, FL), and her largest headlining show to date, SUPERSONIC BALLROOM on December 6 (Denver, CO), among many more. You “NEED 2 KNOW” About FISE’s New Single

FISE is giving listeners goosebumps this Friday with a new, chilling single, “NEED 2 KNOW.”  The mid-tempo bass masterpiece features FISE’s signature cinematic sound supported by powerful, thrilling build-ups that lead to haunting drops. He combines distorted basslines with perfectly placed percussion to deliver a hair-raising experience for listeners.

The beginning build focuses on creating an eerie tension, before the beat drops into a hot and heavy club groove. “NEED 2 KNOW” wraps up with a dynamically layered second drop, tying it all together incredibly.

The Canadian-born producer is a double threat in the electronic music game, conceptualizing and producing all of his own visuals. His ominous tracks perfectly pair with sinister art that helps drive home his dark aesthetic. FISE often collaborates with artists of similar aesthetics and genres to help create visuals unique to their sound and persona. Joining forces with big names such as Rezz and SVDDEN DEATH, FISE’s reputation for visual production is undeniably impressive.

“NEED 2 KNOW” will release via HypnoVizion, a record label founded by Rezz. This will be his second single release with the label, following last year’s “AVARICE.” Other projects with the label include his collaborations with X1-Y2 and EDDIE, whom he has also done production work for.

His double-threat status is just one impressive quality among many. Creative peers also recognize him for finding organic success with 2020 track, “Ridin.’” By his own volition, he landed the track a spot on Spotify’s notorious bass playlist “Bass Arcade.” Since then, the track has amassed over 1 million streams.

FISE’s inaugural performance was on the mainstage at SVDDEN DEATH’s 2022 Summoning Of The Eclipse festival in Austin, Texas. Days later, he played a supporting set at Rezz Rocks in Morrison, Colorado.

FISE is a hidden gem for dark electronic dance music fans, and he’s moving up quickly. Listen to “NEED 2 KNOW” below.

YOOKiE Electrifies Rock Classics On ‘The Dark Side of the Trash’

YOOKiE‘s new EP, The Dark Side of the Trash, reveals six flips of iconic rock classics. While maintaining rock’s free-spirited nature, YOOKiE adds their bass-ridden touch for a unique experience with Deadbeats – a label by Zeds Dead.

New York-based brothers Anthony and Chris Alfaro are no strangers to the careful mixing involved with handling such renowned samples. Throughout the EP, the duo effortlessly maintains the soul of rock hits while completely altering their soundscapes.

Several tracks on the EP were previously released as singles and set the bar high for what was to come. Namely, YOOKiE’s original “SUNSHiNE OF YOUR WUB,” which has nearly 10 million streams across platforms.

“SEVEN NATiON ARMY,” “BULLS ON PARADE,” and Nirvana’s “COME AS YOU ARE,” are the newest tracks of the EP. Truthfully, YOOKiE saved the best for last with this Deadbeats release. From working in the mixing booth to constructing the track list, the duo put every bit of intention into its planning.

YOOKiE’s spin on The White Stripes’ “SEVEN NATiON ARMY,” is the most adrenaline-packed and varied, keeping listeners guessing and gasping. Since it reflects the breakneck nature of the EP, it serves as a perfect opener for the rollercoaster ahead.

After setting the stage, YOOKiE unleashes the most intense track with their Rage Against the Machine flip. Arguably the climax, “BULLS ON PARADE,” featuring Code: Pandorum, is the heaviest song and is packed with brutality. It fits perfectly in the middle of the track list and submerges fans in YOOKiE’s sound. The mosh pit-inducing nature pulls listeners in and encourages them to embrace the rage.

Because they curate each track carefully, fans of every rock genre find something to love, from grunge to metal. Even a Beastie Boys flip is on the release, paying homage to their home state of New York.

YOOKiE plays “FiGHT FOR YOUR RiGHT” at Academy LA in Los Angeles on May 2.

YOOKiE takes their fresh EP on the road for The Dark Side of the Trash tour. Next, their 15-date run across the United States stops in Washington, D.C. on Sep. 24.

YOOKiE seamlessly merges electronic music and rock, despite little common ground, and maintains a unique production style while doing it. Listen to The Dark Side of the Trash below.

SIPPY Unleashes “Killa” With Bianca On Deadbeats

Sydney-born bass music powerhouse SIPPY teams up with Deadbeats for her second single off the forthcoming album Scars in Stereo. Delivering the explosive track “Killa” feat. Bianca, this emotional pop-infused dance tune weaves Bianca’s entrancing vocals with powerful bass drops and hypnotic soundscapes. A true testament to SIPPY’s ability to balance raw energy with haunting beauty. SIPPY shares,

‘Killa’ is my unapologetic anthem — driven by the kind of self-talk I had to master to get here. When Bianca sent me the initial idea for this song, I knew it was the missing piece of my album. As an Aussie, tall poppy syndrome trains you to downplay your ambition and success. This track is about stepping into my power, owning my moment, and not waiting for permission to take the spotlight.

SIPPY portrait

Arriving in tandem with her Scars in Stereo national tour and a run of high-profile festival appearances, “Killa” underscores a pivotal moment in SIPPY’s career. Renowned for her high-impact performances and genre-defying sound design, she continues to carve her own lane in the global bass scene—proving with every release why she remains one of the most exciting artists to watch.

Now based in Los Angeles, SIPPY has built her reputation as an international treasure in bass music. She transitioned from supporting acts like Zeds Dead and Excision to commanding her own headline shows. Her releases on Deadbeats, Bassrush, and UKF highlight her authority across bass music’s biggest labels. With a packed summer ahead, SIPPY will dominate festivals like ÎLESONIQ, Bass Canyon, and Dancefestopia. “Killa” promises to deliver high-energy performances that captivate fans and convert new listeners instantly. It’s clear she’s not slowing down anytime soon—and we’re here for it.

Their unique sounds together pair perfectly with emotionally-driven lyrics making the drop even more goosebump-inducing. It’s no wonder melodic and bass fans alike have been begging for the ID since it was first played.

‘Is This Real?’ It Is Now. Steller x Zingara Drop New EP

For more than two years, we’ve had Steller and Zingara’s first collaboration, “Find It In Your Mind,” on repeat. We’ve been waiting for the day this duo would reunite in epic proportions. Today is that day! The bass gods have delivered, as Steller and Zingara have officially dropped their highly anticipated three-track EP, Is This Real? We know what you’re thinking: is this real? Yes, it is — and we’ve got the full scoop below.

Is This Real? explores reincarnation, collective consciousness, and the nature of time itself,” Zingara explained. “We began this project as my great-grandma was passing. I got a phone call about her last days while we were working together, and the words became symbolic of her journey. It brought Steller and I closer through music, friendship, and studying these concepts.”

The EP opens with its title track, “Is This Real?,” weaving a calm, meditative soundscape layered with spoken-word dialogue between a man and a woman. The woman reflects on her feelings as if she is observing life from the perspective of an old woman about to die. She replies, “Like I am looking back on my life, like my waking life is her memories.” As the track builds in intensity and their conversation unfolds, it erupts into a transcendent drop overflowing with hypnotic, psychedelic wubs.

“Whenever Zingara and I create together,” shared Steller, “it feels effortless. She had started the intro and we built from there, with the first track exploring the idea of time and questioning reality. Everything seemed to align in unusual ways during the process, and the music reflects that sense of meaning and synchronicity.”

“Better Believe It,” the second track on the EP, blends groovy rhythms with saxophone riffs, melodic layers, and touches of jazz. Combined, they create an uplifting wave of energy that is sure to get the audience moving. To round out the EP is none other than the track that started it all, but with a twist, “Find It In Your Mind VIP.” While the OG version has already surpassed 2.3 million streams on Spotify, this reimagined version is the perfect cap on the EP.

“We have been waiting so long to release the ‘Find It In Your Mind’ VIP,” said Steller. “It felt like the perfect closer for the EP. If you read the titles of all three tracks together, the concept becomes clear.”

To celebrate this momentous collaboration, Steller and Zingara have curated a special Is This Real? release party at the TK Lounge. Proceeds from tickets and limited edition merchandise will be donated to St. Francis Society Animal Rescue and Hues of Hope, Inc. Both support rehoming efforts and animal rescue. Aside from the stacked lineup and exclusive merchandise, Steller and Zingara have planned special surprises aimed at creating tangible impacts for these causes. Both artists have woven their love for giving back into their music. They hope to inspire the dance community to use its platform to support philanthropic organizations.

This paved the way for multiple EPs on labels like Morflo Records, Cyclops Recordings, and Bassrush. In 2025, she’s kept the momentum going with other high-profile collaborations alongside Wreckno and the Ragga Twins.
