After celebrating five years of citing hot new music on Dubstep FBI, it launched a new music label, Beat Intelligence Network (BIN). For its debut release, BIN features an electrifying debut EP from renowned dubstep artist Versa. This hard-hitting release features two tracks, “Another Yoi Song” and its VIP, setting the tone for BIN’s mission to push the boundaries of bass music while preserving its raw, high-energy roots.
“For as long as I’ve been producing,” said Versa, “I have wanted to make a track that sounds like a group of Yoi basses singing together. ‘Another Yoi Song’ is a collection of my favorite Yoi’s layered together, playing a little tune. After playing it out live a couple of times, I decided to make a higher energy version using the original idea as a fake-out and that is how the VIP happened.”
“Another Yoi Song” immediately dives into a gritty bassline with sharp snares and hi-hats, leading into a seismic drop designed for pure headbanging mayhem. The VIP takes the chaos up a notch, intensifying the track with rapid chops, piercing laser synths, and electrifying robotic energy that’s ready to fuel the dancefloor.
Yoi bass, which originated in drum & bass before becoming a core element of dubstep and riddim, is known for its distinct, vocal-like modulation achieved through precise synth and filter manipulation — an effect Versa masterfully executes in both versions, pushing the limits of heavy bass music.
The collaboration between Versa and Dubstep FBI is nothing new, as they have previously teamed up to curate and amplify his sets at festivals like Forbidden Kingdom, EDC Mexico, and Rampage Open Air. Originally launched as a content hub, Dubstep FBI has broken barriers in the electronic scene through major festival takeovers, high-impact editorial coverage, and a strong network of industry tastemakers. Now, with the launch of BIN, they are expanding their influence by providing a platform for artists to showcase their hard-hitting sound, with Versa leading the charge through the release of “Another Yoi Song.”
“Versa has been one of the most recognizable artists featured on our blog for years now,” said Dubstep FBI. “His music originally caught our ears, but since we got to know him and his team better, we have all become good friends.
“We will never forget our memories in Mexico and Belgium,” Dubstep FBI continues. “Where we grew closer and celebrated some of his most iconic career sets. From late-night festival moments to behind-the-scenes laughs, Versa has always carried himself with a level of authenticity and passion that makes him stand out.”
Versa is set to bring his high-energy performances to the Beat Intelligence Network Club Studio Time launch party on March 7, marking a pivotal moment for the new label. Additionally, he will take the stage at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 17, joining ATLiens for a massive night of bass-fueled mayhem. Ravenscoon officially sold out his biggest headline show he’s ever put on calling it “a journey through his taste in dubstep.” On 2/22 Ravenscoon, a.k.a. Paul Conversano, is gearing up to unleash pure mayhem at Mission Ballroom in Denver, Colorado. The show comes fresh off the release of his latest album, Glass Orchid, a project that showcases his boundless creativity and deep-rooted passion for bass music. Glass Orchid is a sonic journey through emotional highs, bone-crushing drops, and intricate sound design that pushes the limits of what dubstep can be.
Paul has continuously opened up about what this show means to him in writing,
“When I first started DJing, I had no intentions of ever doing this as a career, as anything more than a hobby honestly – I was just messing around and having fun,” he admitted. “Denver was always my beacon though – I played my first ever show there in 2018, headlining ‘Your Mom’s House.’ I’ve since played Black Box, Cervantes Other Side, Ogden, Mission, and Red Rocks. To come back and headline Mission blows my mind.”

With Mission 222, Ravenscoon is cranking his dream into hyperdrive. This event isn’t just another stop on the tour—it’s the ultimate culmination of his vision. It all takes place in a city that’s been a crucial part of his journey. The night’s roster is a showcase of dubstep’s past, present, and future, a carefully plotted rollercoaster of face-melting bass. Bringing together a meticulously selected lineup, Paul is curating a night that highlights dubstep’s evolution. The support features names such as:
Manic Focus – “An absolute legend in both dubstep & electro-funk. His set will be a high-voltage adrenaline rush before I take over.”
Youngsta b2b Criso – “This is pure madness. Youngsta helped birth dubstep in the UK, while Criso is one of the hottest modern producers out there. Old-school UK clashes with new-school US. Expect mayhem.”
Crizzly – “A dubstep OG for over a decade… Get ready for pure chaos when he hits the decks.”
Fryar – “One of my favorite producers for years… He rarely plays live, so this is a RARE treat.”
Basically he wanted this lineup to be a wild ride through his favorite sounds in dubstep. Something that keeps the energy at its absolute peak throughout the night. However, this show isn’t just about the music—it’s about the full experience. The design was curated down to the last detail of every. single. moment. The Glass Orchid project is Paul’s most personal and experimental one yet. It was a true full-circle moment, blending pieces of the album with his classic sounds and brand-new, unreleased material. While general admission for the event sold out, a few VIP tickets remain.

Deadmau5 brings fans his progressive, electro-house flare with his independent music label mau5trap. Just in time for Valentine’s Day, with everyone chasing love, Shae District and Veltri make their mau5trap debut with their latest single, “MINE.” The new track illuminates the groundbreaking, genre-bending artistry of Shae District and Veltri, weaving together intricate, shadowy themes with mesmerizing melodies. This dynamic collaboration delivers a powerful auditory experience.
Shae District reflects on his collaboration with Veltri in making “MINE,” sharing “To me, Shae District lives in an actual district. It’s themed in a future dystopian-esque world – think Bladerunner, Cyberpunk, Steampunk. ‘MINE’ is a song that energetically spotlights the youthful and rebellious people of this District. Sonically, the song is enlivening, stimulating, and aggressive, pulling themes from Gesaffelstein and Justice styles. It’s weird and dark but digestible to those outside the genre because of the vocals I added to the song. All of our visual branding reflects this as well. We onboarded a team of alternative actors to create these rebellious scenes to accompany the music.”
This Valentine’s Day, the dynamic electronic duo EAZYBAKEDreleased a soulful, intimate 4-track EP, Respawn, a defining moment in their artistic evolution. Known for their electrifying performances and contemporary take on bass music, this EP diverges from their heavy bass roots to create a more emotive and powerful display of their real-life experiences. Despite this shift in sound, fans have been anxiously awaiting the release of Respawn as EAZYBAKED has been sharing glimpses into the EP in live sets over the last year.
“This EP is a testament to love in all its forms — the love we share with others and the vital act of self-love,” said EAZYBAKED. “[Okay]Kayo’s voice was a major source of inspiration and opened up our minds to more possibilities.”
The first track, “ThewayUwalk” begins with calming nature sounds before the beat gradually picks up, setting the stage for OkayKayo’s ethereal vocals as he softly sings, “I know that you are mine.” His voice drifts through the mix, creating a dreamlike atmosphere before panning to a man’s voice, who reflects on the journey of self-discovery: “A symbolic journey intertwined with the fabric of our being. As beings, we are in constant evolution, yet the process of navigating the horizons often feels like a desperate attempt to outrun the shadows of our own past.”
As his words fade, the beat builds once more, seamlessly weaving back into OkayKayo’s mesmerizing vocals. The track continues to evolve, leading to a powerful closing moment where the man’s voice returns with a final, thought-provoking statement: “You gotta just go for it. Don’t think about what came after or what comes before. You just gotta bend your knees, take a deep breath, and jump. And you might think, ‘What if I fall?’ Oh no — what if you don’t? What if you’re flying?” The track leaves listeners with a sense of reflection, peace, and a reminder to embrace where you are in life.
“’ThewayUwalk’ came during another period of big change in my life,” said Okaykayo. “The first line, ‘I’ve been by myself in times of change but I know it’s okay,’ captures that moment perfectly. Coming off the hype of ‘Respawn,’ I really wanted to impress the boys and initially went in hard with bold vocals. But Eric told me, ‘Less is more for this one,’ which made me rethink my approach. I tapped into a softer, chill tone that ended up fitting the track beautifully. In a way, these two songs are like opposites: ‘Respawn’ was about losing someone and wishing for a reset, while ‘ThewayUwalk’ is about finding love again and feeling at peace with where you are. I hope this song can bring some comfort to those going through change and maybe are feeling alone. Knowing I always have myself is something that has literally saved my life in the past.“
The second track of the EP, “WithoutU” with the bakers (EAZYBAKED’s side project), carries warm, hopeful energy, with the phrase “I don’t want to be without you” repeating throughout the song, layered over a harmonizing, uplifting beat. A deeply sentimental and relatable track, it resonates with fans navigating the complexities of new and old love.
“Our personal experiences deeply influenced the creative process,” EAZYBAKED shared. “Andrew was embarking on a new chapter as a single father, establishing his own independent life. I was experiencing the exhilaration of new love and the transformative experience of leaving my hometown and family home to embrace a new beginning.”
Reflecting on the emotional depth of the project, they added, “This project holds a very special place in our hearts, and we hope this music helps people in the same ways it helped us. <3”
“The title track, ‘Respawn,’ was created the night before our Electric Forest adventure,” said EAZYBAKED. I [Eric] presented a core melodic idea to Kayo, knowing he would be able to bring it to life. The instrumental foundation we sent him was titled ‘Respawn,’ and he masterfully elevated it. Collaborating with Kayo is an effortless and truly inspiring experience. We openly share feedback and trust each other’s artistic vision.”
The title track, “Respawn,” opens with a light beat and nature sounds, accompanied by a man speaking about life and its challenges. He reflects, “Responding mirrors the cycle of life, where we encounter challenges, experience failures, and ultimately find the strength to rise again.” As his words fade, the energy shifts—a catchier, more upbeat rhythm takes hold, layered with OkayKayo’s harmonious vocals. He begins with the poignant line, “I can’t move on. It is taking too long.“ Throughout the song, he wrestles with the struggle of needing to move forward but feeling uncertain about whether he can. Ultimately, he realizes that life is about facing adversity with resilience, as we all have the human capacity to learn and respawn from our experiences. The track concludes with a powerful realization: “I can’t take too long, because one day we will all be gone.”
“‘Respawn’ was the first song that really clicked with the boys and me,” said Okaykayo. “I was at my good friend Emma Lee’s house when Eric sent me the track, and I’m not even sure he meant for me to put vocals on it at first—but I did, and we all ended up loving it. At the time, I was going through a brutal breakup with my best friend and girlfriend, which left me feeling blocked out, like she wouldn’t even ‘respawn.’ I was also dealing with this deep desire to disappear and restart in a new life. Writing that song was cathartic—it helped me process those heavy emotions and sparked a lot of personal growth. It also brought Eric and I closer. We’re both super emotional and similar in many ways, and I think that really shines in the music. I hope listeners can feel the emotion the boys and I both put into this song and I hope it can help them in the same ways it helped me to make it.”
“Therapy,” the shortest track on the EP, begins with a sound reminiscent of flowing water before gradually building into a light, uplifting rhythm. With no distinct vocals, the track evokes emotions of hope and love, making it the perfect soundtrack to hold your loved ones close or dance with your rave fam.
“We intend for listeners to experience a profound emotional journey — a spectrum of hope, love, healing, growth, sorrow, joy, vulnerability, authenticity, and pure emotion,” said EAZYBAKED.
Reflecting on the creative process, they shared, “Finalizing the artwork and bringing this project to fruition presented our biggest challenge. This endeavor marked a significant milestone for us—our first time collaborating with a vocalist and exploring music with this level of emotional depth. It was incredibly liberating to trust our instincts and push the creative boundaries to this point. While releasing this project feels daunting, we approach it with a sense of excitement and vulnerability.”
EAZYBAKED is hitting the road in 2025 with an electrifying lineup of shows alongside some of the biggest names in bass music. With a fresh run of shows starting up again on February 26 in Richmond, VA, the duo will join Of The Trees on his Moonglade Tour for a string of dates across the East Coast, including stops in Charlotte, Tallahassee, and Atlanta. His eagerly anticipated debut EP, Final Call, was released today, February 7, showcasing his signature sound that blends pulsating beats and infectious energy. This release is a powerful addition to his discography, reflecting his growth as an artist and the creative direction of Dim Mak Records.
Final Call delivers an exhilarating and immersive soundscape that leaves listeners craving more. Sikdope reflects on the project: “Final Call is my first-ever EP, which I’ve wanted to do for a long time. I’ve always focused on singles, but this project let me express myself more profoundly and artistically. The idea was to take the listener on a journey — like a theater play with different scenes that build up to the final act.“

“It mixes sounds, blending house, techno, and bass house elements into one cohesive project. But the main thing for me was making sure every track was something I’d play in my DJ sets. No filler tracks or songs were created for the radio — every tune had to hit hard in a club or festival setting.“
“Final Call is one of the last tracks to come out from the EP, which I think is the perfect way to end it — mellow, deep, but still heavy, with excellent vocals and lyrics. In the middle, you’ll find harder-hitting ones like ‘Want It’ and ‘Mic Drop.’ So whether you’re in a singalong mood or looking for secret festival weapons for your sets, I feel like there’s something in this EP for everyone. Hope you enjoy the ride!”
