Hey “Stranger,” ALLEYCVT Releases New Single

ALLEYCVT continues to carve out her place in the heavy dubstep scene with her latest track, “Strangers,”—a powerful blend of raw, emotive pop vocals and explosive drops. Seamlessly blending melodic dubstep, modern pop-dubstep, and the grit of rock music, the track delivers an immersive experience that’s equal parts hypnotic and heavy.

In “Strangers,” ALLEYCVT explores themes of discovery and connection, capturing the nature of relationships. The track guides listeners through a cycle of attachment and release, showcasing her blend of vulnerability and dancefloor-ready bass. Visually, her aesthetic draws inspiration from cyberpunk and deadhead influences, adding a trippy, psychedelic dimension to the artistic expression.

“The song “STRANGERS” is up for interpretation, and that’s what I love about songwriting. It could be about not recognizing yourself anymore for whatever reason, and reflecting on that. It also could be about another person that you once knew, that now feels like a stranger. A breakup, addiction, giving too much of yourself to somebody or something… The limits are endless and I want everyone to interpret the song in a way that speaks to them!” – ALLEYCVT

While undeniably a powerhouse force in the dubstep scene, ALLEYCVT is also a fierce advocate for the environment, donating a portion of her ticket sales to impactful charities. Her mission extends beyond music, using her platform to create positive change while shaking up dance floors across the globe. Fans can catch ALLEYCVT at events like Beyond Wonderland, Ultra Music Festival, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Brooklyn Mirage, Elements Festival, and Dancefestopia. Mission Success: Cyclops Desert

This past weekend, Rawhide Event Center in Chandler, Arizona, was transformed into a full-blown bass music haven by Subtronics. I had the privilege of experiencing the inaugural Cyclops Desert firsthand and let me tell you—this was the biggest bass event Arizona has ever seen. Organized by Relentless Beats, the two-day festival brought an insane lineup, mind-blowing visuals, and an atmosphere that had me—and every other headbanger in the crowd—completely locked in from start to finish.

Day 1: Friday, March 7th

The festival kicked off with high-energy performances from Skellytn and Smoakland. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the energy radiating through the crowd. Hedex was up next, after having caught a glimpse of his set at EDC Vegas 2024, I was hyped to see him throw down in full force. His drum and bass rhythms hit different in the desert setting. They were relentless, keeping the entire crowd bouncing under the neon lights. Then came Mersiv, shifting the vibe into trippy, otherworldly soundscapes. His deep, flowing sound made the whole place feel like another dimension. One moment I was vibing, the next, completely lost in the frequencies.

And then… it was time. Subtronics took over to close out Night 1 with an absolute masterclass. Nearly every track he played was an ID, proving again why he’s leading the dubstep scene. He kicked things off with his highly anticipated collab with Hedex and IRAH, System Shock.” From there, he dropped an unreleased heater, “Oblivion,” before diving headfirst into a barrage of fresh IDs.

One of the highlights? His bootleg of Anyma’s “Hypnotized.” The way he flipped that track had the entire crowd in a trance. And just when we thought he couldn’t take it up another notch, he dropped an unreleased VIP VIP of John Summit & Tape B’s “Gas Pedal Remix.” The entire night was a rollercoaster of energy, unexpected flips, and raw, unfiltered Subtronics madness. He brought jaw-dropping lasers, explosive pyrotechnics, and one-of-a-kind visuals (and of course, his dog Ellie made an appearance.) Reaching a fever pitch, Night 1 set the bar sky-high for what was still to come.

Day 2: Saturday, March 8th

The second night of Cyclops Desert picked up right where Night 1 left off. Arizona’s own Dennett kicked off the night with deep, experimental bass and an insane amount of energy. Basstripper followed, delivering a full-on bass assault that had the crowd bouncing nonstop. Then came ALLEYCVT, switching things up in the best way possible. She blended trap, dubstep, and melodic elements, creating a dynamic but hypnotic vibe. Her vocals layered into her set made it feel cinematic—it added a dynamic contrast to the night’s heavier acts. Then came INZO, who took the energy in a different direction, fusing melodic bass and future bass influences with cinematic soundscapes. His set was a standout moment, giving festivalgoers a chance to lose themselves in ethereal melodies before the chaos resumed.

Finally, Subtronics returned to close out the weekend with a mind-melting finale. If you thought Night 1 was wild, Night 2 somehow took things up another notch. With a completely fresh set packed with IDs and unreleased collaborations, he left no room for predictability. Every drop hit harder, every transition felt seamless, and the visuals paired with his sound design were next level. As the final basslines echoed through the desert, I stood there completely in awe. Cyclops Desert went beyond a normal festival experience. I felt a sense of community and realized it’s not just about the performances or art—it’s about the people you meet along the way. If this was just the first Cyclops Desert, I can’t even begin to imagine what’s coming next. #CountdownInitiated

ALLEYCVT Captivates NYC’s Webster Hall On “Feel It” Tour

Last Friday, November 8, ALLEYCVT took over New York City’s historic Webster Hall for an epic show on her current “Feel It” Tour. The budding dubstep star brought along Capochino and Sharlitz Web for support.

Capochino got the party started at midnight and the NYC crowd quickly filled up the dance floor. Clearly, ALLEYCVT made some strong choices for support on this show because Webster Hall doesn’t typically fill up so quickly for the opener. Capochino slayed his set, playing a bunch of his signature flips as well as some familiar dubstep anthems from Subtronics. He finished with a few tunes featuring live vocals from a talented MC whose name I was not able to confirm in time for release.

Sharlitz Web took the stage at 1am, and the hall was nearly packed. Despite her more downtempo sound, she had the crowd whipped up in a dancing frenzy. There were even a few mosh pit sightings during Sharlitz’s set, which surely came as a surprise to me. I’ve rarely seen Webster Hall so engaged and excited for an EDM show, which is a testament to the talent and prowess of ALLEYCVT’s NYC lineup.

The star of the show took centerstage around 2am, and ALLEYCVT played hit after hit for her adoring fans. Her tour production looked great with rainbow-colored lasers complementing her LED graphics. She even teased a few new tracks and IDs from her upcoming debut EP. The crowd went completely bananas during her set, and the energy was electric. Not only were there multiple mosh pits throughout the set, but the crowd also opened an all-girls mosh pit.

Even when ALLEYCVT finished her 90-minute set at 3:30am, the New York crowd chanted for more. She played an encore before dashing off the stage. But those fans who stuck around a little bit longer were able to catch up with ALLEYCVT when she popped out of the green room at 3:45am. She met with dozens of fans, taking pictures, signing merch, and answering questions. She even received a few gifts, including a gorgeous pendant which was synced to an internet ID for authenticity.

ALLEYCVT still has another five weeks left on her “Feel It” Tour this fall, including two shows at Denver’s Ogden Theater to finish. Limited tickets are still available, so get yours now if you want to feel it, too! Since debuting her project in 2021, ALLEYCVT quickly rose to stardom as a skilled producer, singer/songwriter, and DJ. The seamless blend of alluring vocals with her heavy bass-filled drops cements her as a force to be reckoned with. ALLEYCVT invests her heart and soul into her work, expressing the following about the project and upcoming EP:

“Emotions are the raw, unfiltered essence of our existence. It’s the highs that lift us into the heavens, the lows that plunge us into the abyss, and the tangled in-betweens that define our journey here. They are the colors that paint our lives, and the melodies that follow our storyline perfectly. Joy, sorrow, love, fear, anger, peace- each emotion weaves a thread in the intricate tapestry of our being. But beyond the good, the bad, and the ugly, lies the beauty of being alive. For it is through these feelings that we connect, grow, and truly understand what it means to be human. The yin and yang… one cannot survive without the other. Without bad, there would be no concept of good. To feel, is to live.”

ALLEYCVT has found her musical home on influential labels like Deadbeats and Wubaholics, in addition to releasing music independently on her label, Planet Supersonic Records. She has garnered over 9 million streams on Spotify alone. Don’t miss her debut EP, FEEL IT, which is expected to debut this fall.

Tickets for the “FEEL IT” tour are currently available on ALLEYCVT’s official ticketing website. Stay updated and follow ALLEYCVT on her social media for all the latest updates!
