Let the countdown begin. We are now about a week away from the biggest electronic music festival of the year, EDC Las Vegas. With this being the 30th anniversary of the Electric Daisy Carnival, Insomniac has pulled out all the stops. From a Day 0 parade on the Las Vegas strip open to the public and B2Bs all over the lineup to new stage designs and lots of exciting surprises, this is going to be an event you won’t want to miss. Here’s our Moon Lvnding Launch Guide to ensure you make the most of your time under the Electric Sky!
Day 0 World Party Parade
For the first time, Insomniac has partnered with the city of Las Vegas to shut down part of the strip and turn it into a full-blown rave parade. With 30+ art cars, 100s of performers, and moving renegade sound systems, this will be an historic event. The parade starts at 6 pm between Sahara Blvd and Genting Blvd. Get there early to secure your spot and to kick off EDC with an event like no other.

New Additions
With the 30th anniversary being a big one, there are also big changes happening. Building on the immersive worlds of past themes like kineticBLOOM (2022), kineticAWAKENING (2023), and kineticMETROPOLIS (2025), this year’s theme, kineticJOURNEY, is a tribute to the past. There are brand new stage designs for Kineitc Field, Basspod, Circuit Grounds, Cosmic Meadows, Neon Garden, Quantum Valley, Stereo Bloom, and Wasteland. So many of the main stages you knew from past EDCs will be getting a full rework! Make sure you get there early to experience all the new stage designs, and be sure to share the PLUR at each stage.
EDC is much more than just the music; it is an immersive world. Be sure to take time to see all it has to offer: Downtown EDC, YeeDC, the art carts, Ferris wheels, and rides. If you’re lucky, you’ll find the hidden speakeasy, and there will be plenty of performer parades throughout the festival. Be sure to get there early and explore around the festival grounds to see and experience all EDC has to offer.

Whether it’s your first EDC or your 30th, be sure to hydrate before, during, and after the event. It is going to be around 100 degrees all weekend, giving the OG headliners PTSD from the fire-spitting octopus that used to roll around the site when it was scheduled in June. If you see someone in trouble, check in with them and/or seek out medical help for them. Taking care of each other is the PLUR thing to do!
EDC 2026 is shaping up to be one of the most memorable festivals of the year on the occasion of its 30th anniversary. Be sure to plan ahead so accommodation and transportation are sorted to make sure you can maximize your time at EDC. Set up your squad with a meet-up spot in case anyone gets lost, and enjoy all the amazing selections of food and drink around the speedway. For all the vibes and none of the distractions, put your phone away and let the vibe of the night take you away. I look forward to seeing you under the electric sky next week!
