Zombies are taking over the Queen Mary in Long Beach, CA, on June 19 + 20. Zombie Apocalypse Fest enters its third year in SoCal and has been a haven for bassheads and the undead alike. This festival brings the full spectrum of bass music from dubstep and riddim to drum and bass, guaranteeing high energy and crazy production all night long. This year’s lineup features the biggest names in the game, plus some new B2Bs that you won’t want to miss.
Lineup Preview
During Phases 1 and 2 of the lineup release, up-and-coming artists like Avello, Hvdes, Phvra, Nimda, and Richard Finger were announced. Complementing them are experienced OGs like Borgore, Kompany, Level Up, Sullivan King, and Zomboy.
Phase 3 dropped earlier this week, and the current king of bass music, Subtronics, was added to the roster. He is coming off his most impressive showing yet, breaking records at Coachella’s Sahara Tent with performances over both weeks. It’s the B2Bs, however, where this lineup steps it up a notch!
B2B Craziness
One surefire way to add to the excitement of an already stacked lineup is to add some novelty B2Bs. But Zombie Apocalypse went above and beyond with 15 B2Bs. That’s right, FIFTEEN!
Topping the lineup is a combo that has bassheads around the world on notice: Excision b2b Wooli, plus a bunch of side projects too, special combinations like S.Y.N (Nimda, Svdden Death, and YVM3), and Skull Machine (Black Tiger Sex Machine and Kai Wachi). There’s also a throwback to the OG dubstep sound with Caspa b2b Peekaboo, Infekt b2b Samplfire, and a b3b of Bladerunner b3b DJ SS b3b Document One.
