Zeds Dead Spreads ‘Intergalactic Happiness’ In NYC

Legendary dubstep duo Zeds Dead took on New York City and played three shows in three days for its loyal fans. Zeds Dead has been on the road for the last few weeks as they start to tour for their sophomore album, Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness.

In addition to back-to-back sellouts of The Great Hall at Avant Gardner in Brooklyn on Friday, March 21 and Saturday, March 22, Zeds Dead played an intimate set at Manhattan’s historic Katz’s Deli on Thursday, March 20. Presented by Project 91, Zeds Dead took over the landmark NYC Deli that’s been open since 1888 for an extended set filled with classic tunes, fresh remixes, and cuts from their new album. However, the question remains: are they patrami guys or corned beef guys? The jury is still out.

If Katz’s Deli was the appetizer, then the weekend performances at Brooklyn’s premiere EDM nightclub, Avant Gardner, was the main course. Zeds Dead secured two separate lineups for the two events in Brooklyn. We love to see the support for women DJs as Hershe opened the night on Friday and Mary Droppinz played in support on Saturday. Also fresh off a new album release, Distinct Motive played in support on Friday before Truth, the label boss of Deep Dark and Dangerous, set the stage for the main event.

Zeds Dead’s set on Friday was filled with tracks from their new album and some special edits for the New York City crowd, featuring NYC recording artists like Frank Sinatra and Jay-Z. In addition to the huge LED board and a boatload of lasers, Zeds Dead kept with the retro TV theme of their tour poster and placed several rows of old TV sets in front of the DJ booth. The images on the TVs complemented the graphics displayed in the background.

Zeds Dead closed out its trifecta of shows on Saturday with Suray Sertin getting the party started. The aforementioned Deadbeats and Altered States producer Mary Droppinz played next before bass music OG Mr. Carmack provided direct support for Zeds Dead. Saturday’s set had a bit less of Friday’s NYC hip-hop and a bit more of the big hits like “Ecstasy of Soul” and “Collapse.” Despite the indoor warehouse vibes of The Great Hall, I enjoyed this tour compared to some of their Deadbeats takeovers of the outdoor Brooklyn Mirage.

With three New York City events in the books, Zeds Dead can now set its sights on Ultra Music Festival and Miami Music Week. Tonight, Thursday, March 27, Zeds Dead will close out an all-star lineup at the Deadbeats vs. Cyclops Recordings show at Mana Wynnwood in Miami. Then on Friday, Zeds Dead will play the 11pm closing set at Ultra’s Live Stage.

A quick look at Zeds Dead’s updated tour flyer shows a bunch of shows with limited tickets remaining, with others completely sold out. If you want to check out Zeds Dead and this spectacular new tour, act now before it is too late. To keep up with all the latest news and announcements from the dubstep duo, hit the links below!

Zeds Dead Takes On New York City

It’s a big weekend for bassheads in The Big Apple. Zeds Dead arrives today, Thursday, March 20, for three shows in three days as they tour for their new album, RETURN TO THE SPECTRUM OF INTERGALACTIC HAPPINESS.

Thursday night’s show is a historic event at the famous NYC landmark since 1888, Katz’s Deli. This esteemed purveyor of pastrami and corned beef will close its doors to the public to host Zeds Dead for an intimate set with very limited tickets. Project 91 is hosting the event and the wait list is still open on Dice if you’re feeling lucky!

The Canadian dubstep duo brings the party to Brooklyn with back-to-back shows at Avant Gardner’s Great Hall on Friday and Saturday. Hershe, Distinct Motive, and Truth are scheduled to provide support on Friday. Then on Saturday, Suray Sertin, Mary Droppinz, and Mr. Carmack are lined up as supporting artists.

Moon Lvnding has already been fortunate to attend Zed Dead’s tour stop in Nashville, so if you want a preview of the show, check out our coverage by Savannah Padgett. Kraftwerk Multimedia Tour 2025

The legendary German electronic group, Kraftwerk, is just getting started on its North American Multimedia Tour 2025. Remarkably, Kraftwerk is celebrating the 50th anniversary of their breakthrough album Autobahn and their first U.S. tour back in 1975. Moon Lvnding was on hand for their sold out show in Brooklyn at Kings Theatre on March 13.

The luxuriously appointed Kings Theatre made the tour stop feel more like a performance of high art than an electronic music concert. At 8:05pm, ambient noises started playing and by 8:15pm the four members of Kraftwerk began striding onto the stage. Wearing body suits lined with LEDs, they each took their place behind one of four illuminated podiums where they would stand for the entirety of the show.

Kraftwerk played many of their most beloved songs over the 2-hour set. They opened with “Numbers” and transitioned right into “Computer World” with green 8-bit-looking graphics on the big LED board behind them. A few songs later they would play “The Man-Machine” into the aforementioned “Autobahn,” which was accompanied by 80s-style graphics of a VW Bug and Mercedez-Benz driving on the German motorway.

After lengthy applause for the 50-year old album, Kraftwerk continued with “Computer Love,” “Neon Lights,” “Radioactivity,” and “Tour De France.” They finished with arguably their biggest hit, “Trans-Europe Express,” which finally got a few fans out of their seats to dance to the music. They left the stage to a standing ovation.

After a few minutes of resounding applause, they came back out for an encore. Many groups in the audience stayed standing and started dancing when they played “The Robots” and “Techno Pop.” For their final song, they played “Musique Non Stop” while each member of the group walked off to their own curtain call. Although there were a lot of Gen Xers in the crowd, other generations were all well represented. It was encouraging to see parents bringing their kids to enjoy the multimedia performance for one of the earliest encarnations of electronic music.

Kraftwerk is only a few weeks into their expansive North American tour. For venues and ticketing information for the rest of the Multimedia Tour 2025, check their website for availability. For everything else Kraftwerk, connect with the legendary electronic quartet through social media.

Zeds Dead Brings ‘Intergalactic Happiness’ To Nashville

Zeds Dead has been on fire lately, dropping their first album in eight years Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness. Anticipation for this project has been building for some time now, fueled by the release of featured tracks “Sweet Memories” in November 2024, “Heartbeat” in December 2024, and “One of These Mornings” in January 2025. Containing 14 tracks and two interludes, the album takes listeners on an interdimensional journey through time, space, and sound.

“In making Return To The Spectrum Of Intergalactic Happiness, we really connected with the
spirit of what Zeds Dead is,” said the duo. “Throwing whatever crossed our minds at the wall and seeing what stuck. One of our biggest inspirations for this album was the idea of not letting anything matter in our creative process except for our own taste. It is very much art for art’s sake, and the product is something we can both fully stand behind.”

Alongside the release of their new album, Zeds Dead embarked on an album tour that kicked off on release day with back-to-back Atlanta shows at The Roxy and The District. With support from Montycler, A Hundred Drums, and Truth Friday’s show at The Roxy marked the debut of Zeds Dead’s visionary concept—a performance designed to mimic a TV flickering through time, highlighting their mastery of sampling from old records and films.

Saturday’s set at The District showcased some of their new music but leaned into a more intimate experience with house and DnB-heavy selections. The event featured support from local Atlanta artists JennyKat and Wilsun.

After a stop in Boston on Friday, March 14, Zeds Dead finally brought the bass to Nashville, taking over The Pinnacle on Saturday, March 15. Nikita the Wicked set the tone for the night with heavy bass, followed by A Hundred Drums, who delivered a deep dubstep set. Cool Customer kept the energy high, seamlessly shifting between glitch-hop bass and DnB.

Following an energetic and dynamic performance from the supporting lineup, Zeds Dead took the stage, unveiling their one-of-a-kind visual experience that fully immerses the audience in the journey of Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness—all while dressed in stylish suits.

Their set opened with “Light,” the first track on the new album, featuring haunting dialogue from The NeverEnding Story: “Why is it so dark?In the beginning, it is always dark. One grain of sand is all that remains.” As the tension built, the song erupted into a hard-hitting DnB drop, launching a high-energy sequence of drum & bass that set the tone for the rest of the night.

Throughout their performance, Zeds Dead seamlessly transitioned between old favorites, new tracks from their latest album, and multiple unreleased songs and remixes. Among the fan-favorite classics, they played “Kill ‘Em” with 1000 Volts, “Scared” with Peekaboo, “Mad Ting” with Moody Good and Killa P, “One Three Nine” with Scruffizzer, “Gassed Up VIP” with Subtronics, and their remix of “Atmosphere” by GodLovesUgly. From their new album, Return to the Spectrum of Intergalactic Happiness, they performed “Hold My Hand,” “One of These Mornings,” “Angel,” “Bad Guy,” “Heartbeat,” “A Million Dreams,” and “Sweet Memories.”

Zeds Dead also treated the crowd to several unreleased remixes, including Bill Conti’s Rocky theme, “Gonna Fly Now,” Nine Inch Nails’ “Closer,” Fleetwood Mac’s “The Chain,” and Nancy Sinatra’s “Bang Bang.” One of the night’s biggest highlights was their performance of “Ecstasy of Soul” with GRiZ, a moment amplified by mesmerizing lasers and an electrified crowd. Just as the audience was fully absorbed in the experience, they dropped into “Bumpy Teeth,” a high-energy collaboration with Subtronics, proving once again that Zeds Dead’s music transcends subgenres—no matter what they play, their sound is in a league of its own.

The set concluded with an unforgettable sequence that began with their unreleased remix of Gene Wilder’s “Pure Imagination,” which featured elements of John Lennon’s “Imagine.” This led to their “Channel Flipping” segment, a mind-bending audiovisual display where they sampled old films and TV classics like Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Bob Ross, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Star Wars, and Pink Floyd. As the visuals faded, the words “Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow” echoed, building anticipation for the final song of the night. The show closed with one of their most popular tracks, “Collapse,” leaving the crowd in awe as the original fan-favorite version played out to an unforgettable finale.

Overall, Zeds Dead’s sets in both Atlanta and Nashville were a glimpse of history in the making. The duo outdid themselves, delivering an unparalleled auditory experience and a visually stunning performance that was both dynamic and intentional.

For longtime fans who think their sets couldn’t possibly get any better—and for those who have yet to experience one—this tour is a must-see. They have truly defied all expectations. Check out their socials and tour dates below, and secure your tickets now. You don’t want to miss this!

Ravenscoon Ignites Mission Ballroom with Hypnotic Bass & Energy

On February 22, Ravenscoon headlined a sold-out show at Denver’s Mission Ballroom as part of his Glass Orchid Part Two tour. The event featured a lineup of supporting acts, including Manic Focus, Youngsta b2b Criso, Crizzly, and Fryar. The palpable anticipation I had for “Mission Paulroom” grew as each day passed. The show delivered an immersive experience with impressive visual and audio production.

Music

To open the night, Fryar (who doesn’t perform live often), brought the crowd-pleasing anthem with Mersiv, “In Motion.” His transitions between mellow beats and booming bass kept things interesting. The ability to control the vibe from laid-back to high-energy made him the perfect opener for the night. Dubstep legend Crizzly brought in a surge of intensity that melted my face off. I’ve listened to his music growing up and saw him back at Warped Tour ’14. Hearing his 2012 remix with AFK “Chain Hang Low” in 2025 had me feeling nostalgic. He was my favorite support act of the night.

Next on stage was Youngsta b2b Criso who brought the heat with their back-to-back set. It blended old-school UK dubstep with new-school US dubstep. The chemistry between the two was undeniable. Taking the reins for direct support, Manic Focus smoothly weaved up funky basslines and deep grooves. He pushed the energy to a new level, prepping everyone for the headlining performance.

When Ravenscoon finally took the stage, the energy was already at a fever pitch. The sold-out crowd erupted at the first deep, rolling bassline. Known for his ability to fuse melodic storytelling with face-melting drops, Ravenscoon wasted no time immersing fans into his sonic world by playing out new IDs and favorites like his mix on Ray Volpe’s “SEE YOU DROP.”

Production

The visuals were equally mesmerizing — trippy, kaleidoscopic patterns pulsed in sync with the music. Lasers cutting through the air and illuminating the room created a hypnotic atmosphere that felt like a full-on sensory experience. The show delivered an immersive vibe, with attendees noting the impressive visual and audio production.

Mission Ballroom, known for its outstanding acoustics and concert lighting, provided a fitting backdrop for the event. The subwoofer reinforcements provided by PK Sound brought in bass that the venue had never heard before. From the openers and visual effects to the lasers and confetti, that was one of the best bass shows I have ever seen. The Chronic Electronic wrote,

Ravenscoon last night at a sold-out Mission Ballroom show with absolutely POPPIN visual and audio production. HSD did not disappoint.

Overall

By the time his final track faded out, the entire ballroom was buzzing — some fans still lost in the trance of his music, others roaring in appreciation. His seamless transitions kept the momentum going, creating a set that felt both unpredictable and masterfully curated. As he left the stage, it was clear: Ravenscoon delivered a masterful live performance. Limited tickets are still available for the remaining shows on his Glass Orchid Part 2 tour which runs through April 5. For everything else Ravenscoon, give him a follow on his social channels below.

Versa EP Marks Dubstep Debut For Beat Intelligence Network

After celebrating five years of citing hot new music on Dubstep FBI, it launched a new music label, Beat Intelligence Network (BIN). For its debut release, BIN features an electrifying debut EP from renowned dubstep artist Versa. This hard-hitting release features two tracks, “Another Yoi Song” and its VIP, setting the tone for BIN’s mission to push the boundaries of bass music while preserving its raw, high-energy roots.

“For as long as I’ve been producing,” said Versa, “I have wanted to make a track that sounds like a group of Yoi basses singing together. ‘Another Yoi Song’ is a collection of my favorite Yoi’s layered together, playing a little tune. After playing it out live a couple of times, I decided to make a higher energy version using the original idea as a fake-out and that is how the VIP happened.”

“Another Yoi Song” immediately dives into a gritty bassline with sharp snares and hi-hats, leading into a seismic drop designed for pure headbanging mayhem. The VIP takes the chaos up a notch, intensifying the track with rapid chops, piercing laser synths, and electrifying robotic energy that’s ready to fuel the dancefloor.

Yoi bass, which originated in drum & bass before becoming a core element of dubstep and riddim, is known for its distinct, vocal-like modulation achieved through precise synth and filter manipulation — an effect Versa masterfully executes in both versions, pushing the limits of heavy bass music.

The collaboration between Versa and Dubstep FBI is nothing new, as they have previously teamed up to curate and amplify his sets at festivals like Forbidden Kingdom, EDC Mexico, and Rampage Open Air. Originally launched as a content hub, Dubstep FBI has broken barriers in the electronic scene through major festival takeovers, high-impact editorial coverage, and a strong network of industry tastemakers. Now, with the launch of BIN, they are expanding their influence by providing a platform for artists to showcase their hard-hitting sound, with Versa leading the charge through the release of “Another Yoi Song.”

“Versa has been one of the most recognizable artists featured on our blog for years now,” said Dubstep FBI. “His music originally caught our ears, but since we got to know him and his team better, we have all become good friends.

“We will never forget our memories in Mexico and Belgium,” Dubstep FBI continues. “Where we grew closer and celebrated some of his most iconic career sets. From late-night festival moments to behind-the-scenes laughs, Versa has always carried himself with a level of authenticity and passion that makes him stand out.”

Versa is set to bring his high-energy performances to the Beat Intelligence Network Club Studio Time launch party on March 7, marking a pivotal moment for the new label. Additionally, he will take the stage at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on May 17, joining ATLiens for a massive night of bass-fueled mayhem. Check out both Versa and Dubstep FBI’s socials below to stay up-to-date on new their music and events!
