Lift Off: SVDDEN DEATH Valley Of Darkness III

Here is your official Lift Off Death Cvlt Deceivers! The Prince of Darkness is summoning something once again. Following the success of SVDDEN DEATH’s successful Voydome and the announcement of Nevermore in Baltimore, SVDDEN DEATH is bringing the Valley of Darkness III to the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater. This special two-day event will take place on November 13th and 14th!

Red Rocks Amphitheater just underwent a spring cleaning to get the amphitheater nice and clean for the upcoming season. However, after Valley of Darkness III, it will be absolutely filthy from this stacked lineup. On night one, Death Cvlt Deceivers will be blessed with a VOYD set. VOYD sets are not something you want to miss out on. The rest of the Valley of Darkness III lineup includes Zomboy, Vampa, JEANIE, Nimda, Bejalvin, Mythm, and more!

Never miss out on a VOYD set, they are something truly special. Especially when he is spinning into a fiery pit of doom transcending from the sky to the decks! Mission Success: VOYDOME Eye Of The Deceiver

SVDDEN DEATH‘s Voydome – Eye of the Deceiver show this past weekend was a Mission Success! Although it was cold and rainy outside, inside the Tacoma Dome, Svdden Death brought the heat. The Cvlt was summoned, and there was no stopping them. Graves were opened, and mosh pits were moshing.

The stacked lineup brought on the doom and darkness, featuring Svdden Death, Yvm3, PhaseOne, Of The Trees, The Stooges, Kill Safari, Space Laces, and more. The production and pyrotechnics at the Tacoma Dome were insane! The heavy, gritty bass had the venue shaking from the moment people walked through the door. The nonstop bass was overwhelming — even the security guards were locked in and headbanging whenever they could!

PhaseOne showcased his record label, Sounds of Mayhem, and brought out Joshusa, the lead singer of Banks Arcade, to perform a new song they are working on together. Flames were everywhere during Of The Trees’ set as he pumped up the crowd. Then the first-ever Svdden Death b2b with Yvm3 delivered an electrifying experience, with lasers slicing through the Tacoma Dome and bass filling the air. This b2b left no room for restraint. The mosh pits were relentless, and the energy was insane. The Svdden Death and Yvm3 had hearts racing all night long!

Night 2 kicked off with a bang as The Stooges (Hamro, Blvnkspace, and Sqishi) energized the crowd immediately and set the stage on fire. Then Yvm3 took the stage and threw down hard. He brought that same energy and elevated it tenfold! Kill Safari (Kill The Noise + Bro Safari) and Space Laces crushed their sets, revving up the crowd for the moment everyone had anticipated: VOYD.

Once the VOYD mask was on, the intensity reached another level. VOYD descended from the air to the decks, accompanied by creepy, demonic visuals as the stage exploded with indoor fireworks, 360-degree spinning rings of fire, and lasers slicing through the crowd. Rails were broken! Voydome sets are definitely worth a rewatch on YouTube to relive the descent into madness!

There was no shortage of headbanging, and while bruising was kept to a minimum, The Prince of Darkness delivered the madness, setting the bar high for future Voydomes. Cvlt members can look forward to more SVDDEN DEATH at Slander’s Starbase, EDC Las Vegas, Forbidden Kingdom, and North Coast! Join the Death Cvlt using the links below!

Survival Guide: Mosh Pit Edition

I’ve been in many pits surrounded by big guys. During one of SVDDEN DEATH’s sets, I dislocated my shoulder, and the medics popped it back in at the medical tent. From that experience, I’ve picked up some tips and tricks on how to survive a SVDDEN DEATH mosh pit. Especially for loyal CVLT members who are descending into the chaos of SVDDEN DEATH’s “Voydome – Eye Of The Deceiver” this weekend. The heavy lineup features SVDDEN DEATH B2B Marauda, PhaseOne, a Voyd set, Kill Safari, and Of The Trees. Below are some tips for surviving the mosh pits and chaos:

1. HYDRATION IS KEY

It’s crucial to drink plenty of water if you plan to mosh hard. The pit can get hot, sweaty, and grimy, and it is not the place to pass out from dehydration. Do yourself a favor and stay hydrated no matter what.

2. BELONGINGS

As you mosh into people, items can easily fall out of your pockets. Use zip-up pockets, deep pockets, fanny packs, or small bags to keep your possessions safe. You can even give them to one of your besties to hold onto. That way, you won’t lose your phone or important belongings in the pit. Tie your shoes TIGHT and make sure they have traction because Voydome will be filthy all night! Especially when the wall of death comes, you want to make sure everything you came with leaves with you.

3. FRIENDS ALONG THE WAY

We’re all in the mosh pit together. Groups may get separated, but that’s part of the adrenaline rush. You’ll make new friends throughout the night, united by the chaos and the music. We look out for each other, pick each other up when we fall, and hype each other up. Step out of your comfort zone, make some new friends, and keep those rave fams growing!

4. BE ON THE LOOKOUT

If someone falls, help them up. Get out of the pit if you’re only there to cause harm. If you see something, say something. Don’t be afraid to call someone out if they are not acting PLUR. Mosh pits are about fun and chaos, not causing harm.

 5. HANDS UP, ELBOWS IN

A mosh pit may cause bumps and bruises, but intentionally hitting someone in the head is different. Keep your fists near your chest to avoid unnecessary harm. This will also help protect you if you fall, help with the impact of the fall, and keep the bruising to a minimum. Protect your face and ribs at all costs if you can. Keeping your hands close to your body helps make sure no shoulders get dislocated during a sick drop. Just because you’re in the pit doesn’t mean you should punch people or cause intentional harm.

6. MOSH IF YOU WANT

You’re at Voydome to have a great time. If you don’t want to be pushed around, just say no and step aside. Know your limit and know when to step away from the pits. The good news is that the pits will be there for two days.

Following these tips will ensure you have a safe mosh pit experience at Voydome. Expect plenty of filthy riddim, energetic movements, and all the craziness of a SVDDEN DEATH VOYD set. Now is the time to go absolutely wild. Get your last minute Voydome tickets here. To join the CVLT, check out the links below!

Meet Your Doom At Voydome

The Bay Area’s demonic Prince of Darkness, SVDDEN DEATH, is currently wrapping up his nationwide Heretic Tour, but he isn’t quite finished yet. Just in time for the holiday season, he has announced Voydome – Eye Of The Deceiver. Hopefully, your friends and family love grimy riddim and SVDDEN DEATH because that’s where the holiday gift money is going. For two stacked days, on March 14th & 15th, the Tacoma Dome will meet its doom.

The heavy lineup features SVDDEN DEATH B2B Marauda, PhaseOne, a Voyd set, Kill Safari, and Of The Trees. There will be plenty of filthy riddim, high knees, pits on pits, and everything else that comes with a SVDDEN DEATH set. Ears will be bleeding in all the right ways. Doom deserves to be endured, especially when a Voyd set is on the line-up. SVDDEN DEATH levitated during his first Voyd set at the Hollywood Palladium in 2020, there is no telling what he will do during Voydome.
