Summer Smash Enters New Era With Genre-Blending Lineup

Summer Smash, the largest and most well-known rap festival in Chicago, has announced its 2026 lineup. Started in 2018 as a one-day hip-hop festival, it has since grown to one of the largest festivals within the genre. It now welcomes over 100,000 attendees per year across three full days of music.

For the first time in the festival’s history, it has expanded to other genres. World-renowned DJ and producer Skrillex is headlining on Saturday night. Skrillex is known for his unique take on dubstep and electronic music that took over the early 2010s. He produced the Grammy-winning album Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites and received another nomination for his latest album F*ck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol but Ur Not!! <3. Known for high-energy performances and unpredictable sets, his presence marks a major shift in Summer Smash’s identity and its expansion into other genres.

Also performing Saturday night are ISOxo and Whethan. ISOxo is known for his upbeat bass music and hit songs such as “SMACK TALK” and “THRASH (PARTY STARTER)”. He is also the co-founder of the San Diego festival Niteharts alongside DJ and producer Knock2. Hyper pop artist 2Hollis is also included on the lineup. This diverse lineup shows how Summer Smash is pushing boundaries by blending multiple styles of music together.

These electronic artists will be performing alongside major hip-hop headliners Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, and Chief Keef. This mix of genres creates an amazing experience for fans and highlights how the lines between rap and electronic music continue to blur, especially in festival settings.

Every year Summer Smash takes place in Bridgeview, Illinois, at SeatGeek Stadium. This year, the three-day festival will take place from June 12-14th. Tickets start at $399, grab yours using the link below before they sell out!

NITEHARTS Lineup Cements Knock2 And ISOxo As Superstars

Less than two years ago, Knock2 and ISOxo were underground favorites in the EDM community, each cultivating die-hard fan bases with their distinctive styles rooted in trap and bass house. Now, the duo is headlining renowned festivals such as Coachella and EDC, and going beyond the main stage with the launch of their own hometown festival. With some of the biggest names in EDM history, Skrillex and Zedd joining them for B2B sets, Knock2 and ISOxo aren’t just throwing a festival—they’re making a statement.

The NITEHARTS festival was hinted at earlier this year during ISOKNOCK’s two-day event at Snapdragon Stadium, the same venue that will host NITEHARTS. That event, dubbed “San Diego 4EVR” saw two nights of sold-out crowds. At the close, a QR code referencing the upcoming NITEHARTS festival flashed on screen, and Knock2 proclaimed, “See you next year” before leaving the stage.

Hosting another show in San Diego carries special significance for these artists. It’s the place where they met as teenagers, began producing music, and the city that supported them from the very beginning. With NITEHARTS, they once again shine a spotlight on San Diego and look to further cement their hometown legacy in the process.

The lineup for NITEHARTS exemplifies the duo’s meteoric rise. Both artists’ rapid ascent from playing night club shows to headlining EDC together as a mystery act is truly remarkable. The young stars have built a devoted following by merging their innovative trap and bass house sound with some of the most high-energy and electrifying performances in recent memory. With tracks like Knock2’s “Dashstar” and the duo’s “SMACK TALK” becoming festival anthems, their influence is obvious, and their trajectory shows no signs of slowing.

The addition of Skrillex and Zedd to the lineup truly underscores that Knock2 and ISOXO have reached the status of EDM superstars. These globally recognised icons have helped shape the sound of EDM and expanded the reach of dance music over the past decade. Their participation in NITEHARTS as B2B artists proves that ISOKNOCK is no longer just a pair of rising stars.

As Knock2 and ISOxo continue to bring their journey full circle, their story is more than just a rise to fame—it’s a meteoric one.

ISOKNOCK: San Diego 4EVR Brings It Home

The boys of ISOKNOCK recently brought their high-powered collaboration project to their hometown for two epic sold-out nights in San Diego 4EVR. Those lucky enough to attend this homecoming at Snapdragon Stadium were treated to an unforgettable experience with amazing acts, production, and music.

The excitement surrounding both nights of San Diego 4EVR could be felt from the parking lot to the entrance, the energy was electric. With swarms of fans teeming to enter the grounds on day one, the festival experienced challenges that resulted in hour-long waits for some GA patrons. This was fixed on night two with increased security remedying that issue. Night one brought out big names like Peekaboo and Madeon before ISOKNOCK made their big entrance. The duo drove an old-school Honda onto the stage with Knock2 in the driver’s seat and ISOxo sitting on top. The second night featured Glaive and the OG himself, RL Grime. The event climaxed with RL Grime joining ISOKNOCK on stage in a B2B for the ages.

The production for both nights was unmatched. The stage embodied the classic ISOKNOCK 90’s grunge vibe with steel beams, bright lights, a silhouetted ISOKNOCK logo, a Batman-style ISOKNOCK spotlight, and pyrotechnics galore. ISOKNOCK had an amazing blend of music throughout each of their sets. From bass house to dubstep to trap to house. They effortlessly blended it all, leaving the crowd guessing and hyped for more.

These two nights were some of the biggest parties I’ve experienced. The crowd participation and interaction truly made you want to party nonstop and was very immersive. The stage featured a walkway to the middle of the crowd that Knock2 and ISOxo used to get the crowd into an absolute frenzy. Knock2 manned the decks while playing ISOxo’s songs so that ISOxo could interact with the crowd and vice versa. On night two, ISOKNOCK surprised everyone when they appeared atop a tower at the heart of the crowd where they played for 20 minutes before running through the audience and onto the stage. During each set, ISOxo climbed the tower and shined a spotlight into the crowd to incite massive mosh pits. There were mosh pits across all sections of the crowd, GA and VIP alike. Luckily, the pits were respectful with moshers protecting and picking up those who fell. I even saw someone holding up another’s shoe and phone to ensure they got them back.

The weekend was topped off with ISOKNOCK revealing their very own festival in 2025—NITEHARTS FEST. The duo proclaimed that they want to bring music and culture back to their hometown San Diego and this festival will be a big part of that goal.

ISOKNOCK San Diego 4EVR was a weekend that no one in attendance will forget. The incredible performances by ISOKNOCK, Peekaboo, and RL Grime, unreal production and pyrotechnics, and unmatched energy made sure that fans walked away with lifelong memories.
