Wiley Kicks off 2025 with New EP “Rug Burn”

Rising bass producer Wiley ended 2024 on a high note by performing at Ravenscoon’s New Year’s Eve event in Indianapolis. Obviously he had to kick off 2025 with a bang by released his highly anticipated 3-track EP Rug Burn today. This EP delivers both a bass-forward and gritty sonic experience. Since this release is coming just ahead of Wiley’s journey as a supporting act for Tape B at multiple iconic venues across the U.S., fans will have the exciting opportunity to experience Rugburn live.

“I’m really thrilled with how this project turned out – it feels like an evolution of my sound,” said Wiley. “The process of crafting these tunes has been incredibly rewarding, and I can’t wait to dive even deeper into exploring heavier, more dynamic tracks. This is just the beginning!”

His latest EP showcases his signature sound in full force. The track list includes “Rug Burn (Knocked Out)”, “Reject”, and “Black Opal” with Ujuu. Each track features unique, abyssal basslines; blending violent, gritty soundscapes with layers of otherworldly sensations. As a result, these elements combine to create an intense yet transcendent listening experience.

In just two years, Wiley’s raw talent and creativity has been recognized by multiple household names. The list includes Excision, Subtronics, A Hundred Drums, Wreckno, and more. Previously he played the mainstage at Sacredhive’s music festival Soundhaven and at Excision’s Lost Lands in Ohio. As a rising visionary in the world of dubstep and experimental bass music, don’t miss the electrifying energy of his live sets.
