S2O Festival Ready For Wet And Wild Labor Day Weekend

Still looking for Labor Day Weekend plans? Then look no further than the US premiere of the world-famous S2O Festival this Saturday, August 31, and Sunday, September 1! Based on Songkran, the Thai New Year celebration where people spray each other with water for good luck, S2O and Pulse Events are ready to bring the world’s wettest party to one of North America’s best large nightclubs, The Brooklyn Mirage.

The lineup for this two-day event is stacked with international superstars like GRAMMY-nominated Marshmello, multi-platinum producer Timmy Trumpet, American dubstep heavyweight Subtronics, and Asian-American melodic bass duo ARMNHMR. The event runs from 4 pm to 12 am each day, with talented local DJ/producers getting the party started and seven full sets scheduled for each day.

With a gaping hole in the 2024 festival schedule for Labor Day Weekend in New York City, Pulse Events recognized the opportunity to bring S2O Festival to the United States and seized it. “After seeing the incredible water and musical spectacle that is S2O in Asia, I had a desire to bring it to the US for the first time and reached out to the Thai organizers,” shared Luffy Huang, founder of Pulse Events.

“Our visions aligned immediately and after over a year of planning, I’m proud to be bringing this cultural celebration to New York,” Huang continued. “S2O perfectly represents Pulse Events’ mission to bridge the east and west by introducing the Songkran Thai New Year tradition of spraying water on one another for good luck – while appealing to the wider EDM community with our favorite music. And our event at The Brooklyn Mirage will provide a new S2O experience that has not been seen overseas because of the venue’s one-of-a-kind wraparound LED wall!”
