Lift Off: Zeds Dead At Mesa Amphitheatre

Arizona, get ready to take a journey. On September 18 and 19, Zeds Dead will take over Mesa Amphitheatre for two nights as the duo brings their Journey of a Lifetime tour to the desert. With two different support acts across the weekend, each night is set to bring its own flavor.

Hosted by Relentless Beats, Friday kicks things off with Imanu joining Zeds Dead at the Mesa Amphitheatre. The Dutch producer brings a sharp blend of drum and bass, experimental textures, and forward-thinking electronic production. Then Saturday switches things up with Ivy Lab stepping into the support slot. That gives fans another completely different sonic adventure before Zeds Dead takes over.

For a duo with such a massive musical range, that variety feels fitting. Zeds Dead have spent years bouncing between dubstep, drum and bass, hip-hop, and everything in between. Their sets can shift from atmospheric melodies into absolutely ferocious bass without warning. That unpredictability has become part of their magic.

Dylan Mamid and Zachary Rapp-Rovan, better known as DC and Hooks, have built Zeds Dead into one of electronic music’s most enduring duos. Since forming in Toronto, the pair have developed a catalog that refuses to sit comfortably inside one genre. Their Deadbeats label has also become a home for artists pushing bass music in unexpected directions. Now, the Journey of a Lifetime tour brings that expansive sound directly to Mesa.

The Arizona stop also lands at one of Mesa’s most intimate outdoor venues. Mesa Amphitheatre offers an open-air setting that feels worlds away from a giant arena. The venue puts fans close to the action without sacrificing production. Doors open at 5 PM, with the show beginning at 5:30 PM each night. Both performances are 18+ and require valid identification. The venue also lists a 10 PM curfew, so arriving early is absolutely worth it.

Give yourself time to catch Imanu or Ivy Lab before the main event. Hydrate, dress comfortably, and prepare for an evening spent moving through multiple shades of electronic music. Zeds Dead returning to Arizona for two nights is more than a quick tour stop. It’s a chance to experience two different support bills alongside one of bass music’s most celebrated duos.

Tickets can still be purchased on the official ticketing website! Even better, Zeds Dead has partnered with PLUS1 so that $1 per ticket goes to supporting organizations expanding access to music education and other creative opportunities, such as providing instruments, software, and related resources. Whether you choose Friday, Saturday, or make it a full weekend, Mesa is getting two nights worth remembering.
