Dress For The Elements
Halloween weekend usually brings some of Arizona’s best outdoor festival weather. However, this year’s forecast has a spooky twist. Friday currently carries a significant chance of showers and thunderstorms, with possible heavy rainfall. Saturday looks warmer, but rain chances could return later that evening. Keep an eye on the forecast and official event updates before heading out. Waterproof shoes, a lightweight rain jacket, and a backup outfit could save your night. And a piece of advice: SKIP anything you wouldn’t want getting muddy.
Two Stages, Endless Chaos
HEX introduces two distinct stages, giving festivalgoers plenty of musical territory to explore. The Altar brings the main-stage heavy hitters, while The Catacombs spotlight additional artists and underground energy. Don’t spend the entire weekend planted in one place.
Friday’s lineup is stacked with artists ready to kick off the weekend properly. Subtronics headlines The Altar, bringing his signature sound design and unpredictable drops to the desert. INZO also takes the main stage, offering a more melodic and atmospheric experience. The supporting lineup includes LAYZ, Badklaat, Dennett, Nikademis, and more. Meanwhile, The Catacombs feature Linz, Sora, Onara, and Inaktiv.
Saturday raises the stakes with Excision and ATLiens leading the charge. Excision’s massive sound and larger-than-life production make him a natural Halloween weekend headliner. ATLiens bring their mysterious aesthetic and bass-heavy sound, and together they close the inaugural HEX weekend with serious firepower. Riot Ten b2b PhaseOne adds another major reason to stay locked in. HURTBOX, Softest Hard, Decimate, Modal Nodes, Proxxxy, and YVM3 round out the lineup.
