If you’re a fan of Tape B and GRiZ, then you’ve definitely seen the countless videos from GRiZ’s debut Seven Stars Festival and Tape B’s Red Rocks headlight debut. One of the features of those sets was their newest collaboration, “Light You Up,” featuring CREG. Played out at both venues, including a surprise GRiZ b2b Tape B set at Seven Stars, this ID has been the talk of the town. A fusion of GRiZ’s signature funky vibes and Tape B’s nostalgic sound design, they have finally delivered it to the masses.
The track features vocals and an official debut from the mysterious CREG, a vocalist who caught the attention of both Tape B and GRiZ at the beginning of the year. Aside from this single, CREG is also set to collaborate with Nikita the Wicked, Mersiv, and San Pacho x Matroda. Overall, CREG’s hypnotic vocals are the cherry on top of this euphoric yet gritty collaboration.
GRiZ

To say it has been an insane year for GRiZ would be an understatement. From reemerging with his EP Gemini after nearly two years on hiatus to dropping multiple huge singles, “Chaos Theory” with Wooli, “Coast to Coast” with Flowdan, and “Deep Clear Water” with Gryffin, he has not slowed down for a second. Alongside the EP came the biggest news of the year: GRiZ’s first live performance back on the scene would take place at his inaugural Seven Stars Music Festival. The festival sold out almost instantly and has already been hailed as one of the best festivals attendees have ever experienced.
GRiZ is closing out the year in the best way possible with the 10th anniversary of GRiZMAS, taking over Detroit’s Masonic Temple on December 19 + 20. Friday’s lineup brings GRiZ, Whethan, and Austeria, while Saturday keeps the energy high with GRiZ, Vincent Antone, and Motifv. The momentum does not stop there.
GRiZ and Subtronics just revealed the return of GRiZTRONICS, taking over the iconic Gorge Amphitheatre on May 23 + 24, 2026. Night 1 features Subtronics, Of The Trees, a special “Chasing the Golden Hour” set from GRiZ, Boogie T, Effin, and Blossom. Night 2 delivers GRiZ, LSDREAM, a Subtronics sunset set, ALLEYCVT, Taiki Nulight, and Lumasi, with a GRiZTRONICS set closing out both nights. GRiZTRONICS Gorge is shaping up to be a massive new evolution for both artists. GRiZ fans can stay tuned for more updates across his socials.
