Despite the modest title, DRINKURWATER‘s new album “RIPPLE” has made tsunami-sized waves in the electronic music scene. The untamed producer stays true to his signature sound while also pushing boundaries by incorporating a diverse range of genres into the new album. Like the rising force he is, DRINKURWATER speaks about the album stating:
“My debut LP, ‘RIPPLE,’ is all about taking you on a wild ride through my music and sounds. I spent a lot of time making sure each track feels just right, bringing diversity to the project while still keeping a lot of the elements my fans know me for.
This album brings back memories of the earlier days when I started the DRINKURWATER project, working on music until the early hours of the morning. ‘RIPPLE’ reflects the sound that I envisioned having in the future. I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I believe in it. Stay hydrated, my friends.“
With the vision of inspiration and energy flowing like water, the album kicks off with the title track, “RIPPLE.” It goes into “SENSATION” which is a bass banger that has already been popping off on stages like in DRINKURWATER’s Big Dub Festival set. However, a favorite track hands-down is the joining of forces of VRG for “BIG ONE” that offers you some lethal, grimy underground bass. Trekking through the waters of distorted wubs and wobbling dubstep, you come to tracks “TOTHEOCEAN” and “DAS FROG” which takes the listener on an auditory exploration to a different dimension.
Ensuing chaos among the masses “BODIES“, the single that was released prior to the album, gave a teaser of the melting pot of bass-house that perfectly encapsulates DRINKURWATER’s versatility. The album arrives on the heels of THE RIPPLE Tour debut, where this crowd stunner promises captivating and specially curated sets for his first ever headliner tour.
