Launch Guide: Wakaan Music Festival 2026

Wakaan Music Festival’s 5th annual gathering is well underway, with the pre-party in the past and three days of madness ahead. Curious about what to expect? From festival basics like the site map to set times and artist activations, Moon Lvnding has you covered.

First things first

All campgrounds opened at 1 a.m. this morning, October 1, and campers are well into setting up for the weekend. Expect wet weather this weekend; make sure to bring proper camping gear, weather-friendly attire, and follow safety precautions. Have your camping passes ready upon arrival to make for a quicker entry.

As always, leave with what you bring and be kind to the space that hosts this awesome festival. Find more in Wakaan’s official “know before you go” guide on Instagram, where you can also view the festival site map and detailed set times.

Of The Trees headlines the Aura stage tonight, followed by Liquid Stranger, who headlines on Friday and Saturday. Afterward, the vibes continue on the Chakra and Halo stages at 2:30 a.m., with music officially ending at 6:30 a.m. Here is a list of our most anticipated artists to catch this weekend at Wakaan.

While the Aura stage offers a plethora of sounds for all to enjoy, the afters are curated to specific genres. Heavy bass fans will have a ball with the Halo stage’s Thursday lineup featuring names like Smoakland and Hairitage. On Friday, the Chakra stage will have deep dubstep fans in a chokehold with Truth, The Widdler, and Casey Club. A mysterious TBD set lurks on Saturday’s Chakra stage lineup, with JiLLi closing out and Super Future closing Halo stage.

Vendors

Unsurprisingly, festival prep takes a lot out of a person. Add a first camping festival experience to the pot, and you may find yourself caught off guard. Feeling unsure about your nutritional options throughout Wakaan? Don’t fret any longer — the festival has you covered. With over 10 food vendors, including two pizza places, noodles, and tamales, there’s something for every hungry raver.

Beyond food vendors, Wakaan also boasts an extensive list of shopping opportunities with unique small businesses of every kind. While walking between camp and the magic of the Aura stage, take a peek at the vendor alley. Who knows, you might find your favorite festival keepsake!

Artist Activations

Beyond the music, Wakaan’s artist activations offer plenty of fun around the festival. Don’t forget to check them out this weekend for the opportunity to create amazing memories and DIY items.

Liquid Stranger’s annual spaghetti-eating contest is an absolute must-see. The contest has been a Wakaan staple since its inaugural year in 2019, and the victor wins ultimate bragging rights. Seriously, you won’t want to miss it. Several other artists also offer unique experiences, from Wakaan Singo with TVBOO on Thursday to a multi-artist activation on Saturday. AHEE, Chozen, DEV, and WonkyWilla host “Who’s Artist Is It Anyway?” on the last day.

Festivalgoers can tap into their crafty side with Canabliss at Wakaan’s Color Lab for tie-dye and kandi making. GlowiiScape, a small business specializing in eccentric rave apparel, brings the Creation Station concept to Wakaan this year. Unlock your creativity with your very own self-made hat, personalized plush pal, or hat clip.

Additionally, GlowiiScape and several other small businesses collaborate for a spin-to-win-style giveaway featuring awesome apparel prizes. From personalized creative projects to exciting giveaway opportunities, you won’t want to miss out on the Creation Station.

Are you a festival fashion lover but not interested in the DIY aspect? Wook Water and five small, women-owned businesses have your back. The Women of Wakaan Charity Fashion Show highlights incredible female artists making an impact in the rave world. Bass Babe Jewelry, Euphoric, GlowiiScape, Jamie Dyes, and Smoking Section are the featured creators.

Final notes

Be sure to make the most of this incredible music festival experience. Wakaan’s reputation stretches far beyond its record label’s musical footprint, with its distinct and unmistakable sound. Despite its large size, Wakaan ends up being one of the most intimate bass festival experiences around. With one giant stage and, in turn, one giant crowd, fans share an undeniable familial energy. Inclusivity and love are musts at Wakaan, and you’ll surely leave the weekend with new friends. See you on the mountain!
