Monday Musings – February 3, 2025

Welcome to Moon Lvnding’s first Monday Musings, a place where we can highlight the EDM news, tours, albums, and events that captured our attention. For our debut debrief, I have three stories on my mind.

The Moonglade Tour Takes On The East Coast

Of The Trees brings Phase 2 of his Moonglade Tour to the major metropolises of the East Coast, stopping in Burlington, Boston, Brooklyn, and Washington DC from Thursday through Sunday this weekend. EAZYBAKED will be along for direct support on all four shows in addition to other select artists by location.

What’s most exciting to me is the choice to play at the recently remodeled Brooklyn Paramount. Live Nation paid big money to renovate this classical movie theater into Brooklyn’s most futuristic concert hall. To my knowledge, Of The Trees is the first deep bass artist to play at this venue and only the second bass artist ever (San Holo played his 10th anniversary show there in January 2025).

Moon Lvnding will be on hand to provide day-of and day-after coverage of the landmark event. Of The Trees debuted all-new graphics for this tour at his Red Rocks shows in November 2024, so it will be nice to see the new production on display with Brooklyn Paramount’s new high-tech setup. Be sure to give our socials a follow if you’re interested in our first peek into EDM events at the Brooklyn Paramount

The Future Is Now For Super Future

Bass producer/DJ Super Future is back from a short hiatus for the birth of his first child with Phase 2 of his Augmented Duality Tour. Moon Lvnding HQ is scheduled for a tour stop on February 28 at Walter Studios in Phoenix, AZ, but sadly, no show dates yet for the Northeast. Super Future did reveal that those two shows scheduled for March 14 + 15 will be at Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom in Denver, CO.

2024 felt like a coming out party for the talented producer, who excelled in the two live performances I had the pleasure to witness. Super Future played an energetic bass set as support for Barclay Crenshaw at his debut Open Channel Tour in NYC’s historic Webster Hall. Later that summer at Electric Forest, Super Future played a memorable daytime set in the woodsy Observatory Stage.

What interests me most about the Augmented Duality Tour is that Super Future plays two distinct sets at each show. He starts the night with an experimental bass set and ends the show with his immersive downtempo set. I sure hope he finds the time to schedule some Northeast shows in the spring.

Superheroes Anonymous Radio Show Debut

Finally, one of my favorite EDM duos, Adventure Club, debuted their new show on Insomniac Radio last week. Named after their successful mix series, Superheroes Anonymous airs at 6pm PT on the 4th Monday of the month. Described as “a monthly show packed with their newest music, unreleased IDs, edits, and special guest appearances,” the first episode aired on January 27.

Adventure Club featured their new tune with Kompany and Sara Benyo, “Set Me Free,” along with some fresh mashups of classic songs and sneak peeks of unreleased IDs. With over 10 years of EDM experience under their belts, Adventure Club has been slowly teasing old bootlegs and unreleased remixes as they promote a throwback tour that is in the works for later this year. Count me in!

I hope our readers enjoy this new quick-hitting format of EDM stories. If you have any news or events you’d like us to feature in our next Monday Musings, let us know with a comment on our socials.
