To start things off Mr. Suicide Sheep is celebrating 10 years of bringing new music EDM fans around the world. His channel helped emerging artists to get their music to potential fans in a time where Spotify was barely a thought.
Amidst the spread of the COVID-19 strain of Coronavirus, many cities in the United States are issuing quarantines and limiting large gatherings. The festivals getting hit by this wave are Ultra Miami and SXSW which have been canceled, and Coachella along with Tomorrowland Winter have been postponed for later in the year. Many are starting to speculate which festivals will be next, especially with EDC being right around the corner.
Despite the cancelations and fear, two festivals have gotten full lineup announcements keeping festival season alive. Excision has released the Bass Canyon lineup and it is stacked with everyone from Kompany to Liquid Stranger and an Excision b2b Illenium set. Arizona’s Phoenix Lights announced their full lineup for a show that is taking place in less than a month. The artists on this lineup include Alesso, Kayzo, NGHTMRE, and locals Blossom and Ekonovah.
Flume just released another single with Toro y Moi that was teased in his visualizer for the HI This Is Flume mixtape. In conjunction with the song he also announced a series of shows at Red Rocks to celebrate three eras of Flume. This show will be one that you don’t want to miss and will definitely be a beautiful experience.
The last piece of news has to do with Colorado as well in that they passed new legislation to decriminalize schedule 1 and schedule 2 substances. This includes DMT LSD cocaine and amphetamines like adderal but keep in mind that the bill was passed in hopes that researchers would be able to finally study these drugs.
