Toronto’s own Ricky Bamboo returns with “Extrasensory,” a two-track EP that bends bass music into something otherworldly. Released June 12th on Zeds Dead’s Altered States, the project marks his third release on the imprint. A student of jungle and drum & bass, Ricky Bamboo’s roots lie in Toronto’s underground rave scene. Over time, he evolved from DJ to producer. Now, his sound blends the past and future with elegant precision. “Extrasensory” opens with the title track, a slow-burning tribute to bass culture and cosmic awareness.
