House music producer Dombresky shined in the centerstage spotlight for three marquee events during New York City’s final weekend of Pride month celebrations. On Saturday, June 29, Dombresky took part in the largest Pride show of the weekend, the 3-room Planet Pride takeover at The Brooklyn Mirage. Sunday brought two special appearances from his Disco Dom alter ego, first at Dreamland in Central Park and then at the Xanadu Roller Arts rink for an Inferno takeover.
This coincided nicely with the June 28 release of Disco Dom’s second EP, Inferno (No.2), about a year after his first EP last summer, Inferno (No.1). Both tracks on the new EP are satiny smooth, just like the 70s disco vibes Dombresky keeps alive with these modern house tunes. “Butter” featured in the Moon Lvnding Top 5 picks on our New Music Friday mix for good reason. This catchy single with its sparkly vocals and disco groove kept the crowds moving all weekend!
The second track is appropriately named “La Discoteca,” an accurate description of where it’s best played. From the precussive intro to the sultry hook, the Latin flare of this tune will have the clubs in flames all summer long. Disco Dom currently has one more Inferno-branded live event planned at the legendary Splash House in Palms Springs, CA on August 17. But with this blazing new EP, check his site for all the latest event announcements.
For a fabulous finish to Pride month, Disco Dom lit up Brooklyn’s Xanadu Roller Arts space with timeless disco classics and fresh house flair for one of his signature Inferno events. Besides this tasty looking drink menu named after his EP, Dombresky brought out talented, disco-dripped, roller dancers to perform in middle of the roller rink. With large afros and brightly colored outfits, they added to the ambiance that made the Inferno Roller Revolution a night to remember!
Dombresky has a busy summer ahead of him with a handful of performances slated for the sunny isle of Ibiza and the hot Las Vegas Strip. He will be back in Texas to end October with a spot at Freaky Deaky in Austin, TX.
