20 Years In The Desert: Do LaB Announces Coachella 2025 Lineup

How do you Do…LaB? With one of Coachella’s most anticipated stages and lineups—besides the official festival lineup—returning to the desert on April 11-13 and 18-20, 2025, you still have a few months to figure that out. In the meantime, Do LaB has officially announced its Coachella 2025 lineup, featuring artists like Le Youth, MK, Levity, Anderson .Paak, and more across both weekends.

Staying true to tradition, Do LaB will once again feature unannounced surprise performances across both weekends. These sets are always kept under wraps until just days—or even hours—before the festival, adding an extra layer of excitement to an already stacked lineup.

For those who want to stay in the loop, Do LaB sends exclusive text message alerts to subscribers ahead of each festival day. Fans can sign up via the official Coachella website—just be sure to check both boxes when adding your phone number: one for Coachella updates from Goldenvoice and another for marketing messages, which include surprise set announcements.

The Evolution & Legacy of Do LaB at Coachella

This year marks a major milestone: Do LaB’s 20th anniversary at Coachella. What started as a small-scale installation in 2005 has transformed into one of Coachella’s most immersive and talked-about experiences. As one of only two independently curated stages at Coachella (alongside Heineken House), Do Lab maintains complete creative control of the experience—designing and installing the stage, selecting the lineup, and bringing their signature vibrant, art-driven energy to life.

Founded by Josh Flemming, Do LaB’s structures have grown increasingly ambitious over the years, pushing the boundaries of art and architecture. While a dedicated team of engineers and artisans now bring these massive installations to life, everything still starts with Flemming’s original vision. As co-founder Jesse Flemming puts it, “Josh keeps pushing the limits of what you can do architecturally. Our engineer often asks, ‘Why can’t you guys ever do anything simple?’ But it all works. It may be more difficult, but that’s how you create something new.”

What truly sets Do LaB apart is the experience it creates for festival-goers. Over the years, it has transformed from a passive art installation into an environment where attendees aren’t just spectators enjoying cool art or discovering new music—they become part of the performance. From surprise water sprays cooling off the crowd to interactive art pieces that invite audience participation, Do LaB has perfected the balance between spectacle and community.

Beyond the physical space, Do LaB has built a legacy around its unpredictability. Surprise performances have become a signature aspect of the experience, with unannounced artists taking the stage for back-to-back sets, unexpected collaborations, and last-minute additions. These impromptu sets are often finalized just days—or even hours—before artists actually take the stage.

Looking Ahead: The Future of Do LaB at Coachella

With 20 years in the books, Do LaB continues to evolve. Each year brings new stage designs, production upgrades, and a fresh roster of artists, ensuring that no two experiences are ever the same. As Coachella 2025 approaches, fans can expect another year of cutting-edge sound, art, and surprises that only Do LaB can deliver.
