From the city that never sleeps to the City of Angels, acclaimed DJ, producer, and vocalist TINYKVT has taken an unconventional path into the world of bass music. Long before stepping onto festival stages, Tori Letlzer was immersed in music from an early age, studying film scoring and composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston. At one point, she was even poised to become a traditional opera singer.
After relocating to Los Angeles, where she has spent the last 14 years, Tori has carved out a niche for herself within the film and gaming industries. Her vocals can be heard in major productions like Batman vs. Superman and Wonder Woman, and her contributions extend to gaming projects, such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 7. It wasn’t until COVID-19 struck and brought much of the entertainment world to a halt in 2020 that Tori’s creative DJ juices began to flow.

After attending EDC Las Vegas for the first time in 2015, Tori immersed herself in rave culture and the electronic music community. By 2018, she had fully committed to learning how to DJ. After word got out that she was a classically trained vocalist, more artists began reaching out for toplines and vocal features. However, she quickly realized she wanted more creative control over the music she contributed to, rather than simply lending her voice to other people’s visions.
Thus, the TINYKVT project was born. Drawing inspiration from artists like deadmau5, Skrillex, and mid-tempo artists like REZZ, her sound blends elements of industrial and dubstep, and, of course, features monstrous sing-alongs, showcasing her outstanding vocal chops.
“I finally said, fuck it. I’ve been making music for more than a decade. I should just learn how to produce EDM myself. And that’s what I started doing, because I want to be in control of my own destiny.”
The Birth of TINYKVT
What started as a joke among friends quickly evolved into a full-fledged persona. Laughing at the idea of using images of her cat, “Tiny,” bouncing around as visuals for her set, friends, fans, and colleagues soon began referring to her as TINYKVT — and the name stuck.
Her Setup & Style
Unlike many producers in dance music who use Ableton, Tori uses a DAW called Reaper. Having already mastered the DAW through years of sound design work in film and television, sticking with Reaper felt natural as she transitioned into electronic production.
Covering all ends of the bass spectrum, TINYKVT takes you on a journey through bass music. From heavy bass drops to dubstep to ’90s-inspired industrial artists like Nine Inch Nails, her sets thrive on unpredictability. Packed with melodic elements and emotionally driven vocals, TINYKVT doesn’t shy from grabbing the mic and ripping through killer ballads. Tracks like her acclaimed Evanescence flip showcase both her production versatility and standout vocal ability. Speaking on her creative process, TINYKVT explains:
“I just make music that I would want to listen to, and hope it resonates with people.”
Make Dubstep Cvnty Again!
After fans began describing her performances as “cvnty,” TINYKVT decided to fully embrace the term and turn it into a movement of her own. Having noticed a growing number of women gathering along the rails and inside the mosh pits at her shows, she wanted to create an environment where female fans could feel empowered, welcomed, and safe, so she leaned into the idea even further. The result was “Cvntstep” — a playful, tongue-in-cheek, and high-energy track that celebrates the women who show up to rage at her sets!
“I keep telling people, the funniest thing is the number one selling cvntstep t-shirt is a men’s XXL,” explains TINYKVT with a smile.
Let Her Cook!
From massive performances at Lost Lands, Red Rocks, EDC Las Vegas to appearances at Ubbi Dubbi Festival, TINYKVT has quickly become a rising force in the bass scene. Yet performing on large stages is nothing new to her — between the ages of 14 and 16, she toured as a vocalist with Cirque du Soleil.
Her rise in electronic music has been nothing short of impressive. TINYKVT’s debut single as a DJ-producer was signed to Deadbeats, and, incredibly, the first time she ever performed on a professional CDJ setup was while opening for Zeds Dead in Chicago — talk about handling pressure with precision. Since then, she has collaborated with artists like LEVEL UP and REAPER, while also contributing opening vocals to the latest LP from Seven Lions.
One thing is for certain: the name TINYKVT is becoming household within the dubstep community. With dreams of playing the iconic Circuit Grounds stage at EDC, like so many of her idols, the trajectory is only up for this rising star in the bass scene. So if you’re ready to enjoy some cvnty vibes and have a good time, make sure you check out TINYKVT across all socials and put her on your next festival hit-list!
