This lineup is so unbelievably stacked that it’s almost criminal for many of these artists to be considered undercards. For starters, UK house producer Riordan just earned a spot on the Top 101 Producers of 2024 list. On the back of his North American debut tour, he will surely electrify the DEF OFF LIMITS stage with his innovative approach to tech house, minimal house, and garage. Another UK producer rocking the DEF stage is rising female star Oppidan. Her production style mixing garage, jungle, and grime has brought her international acclaim, recently completing her North America tour that featured sets at Hard Summer and ARC Festival. From this side of the pond, Chicago’s beloved bass trio Levity continues its meteoric rise after playing what seems like every major festival this year including Lost Lands and Wakaan. The young bass music pioneers known for a blend of nostalgic remixes and melodic drops will bring their unmatched stage presence to the Hallows stage. Multi-instrumental bass producer A Hundred Drums will hex the Hallows stage with her dark rhythms influenced by UK dubstep, reggae, downtempo, and psytrance. Having played on the biggest stages including Electric Forest, Wakaan Festival, Red Rocks Amphitheater, and the Brooklyn Mirage, she is no stranger to the limelight.
Friday — October 25
Be sure not to miss Taiki Nulight‘s 11:40 PM masterclass on the OFF LIMITS stage. A specter defying the conventional, this UK savant has toured the globe stamping his mark on bass, garage, and house music worldwide. Self-taught producer Maddy O’Neal will grace the Amphitheatre with her electro-soul-inspired bass bangers that earned her supporting roles for big names like Pretty Lights, Griz, Clozee, and Liquid Stranger. Experience the ethereal soundscapes and gritty basslines that have seen her booked for 90+ shows a year including major festivals Coachella, Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, and more! Back on the OFF LIMITS stage, MPH will get skeletons jumping with his versatile releases on Night Bass, Spinnin’ Records, Deadbeats, and more. Now on a world tour spanning the UK, Italy, US, Australia, New Zealand, China, Thailand, and Japan, this producer is leading the new wave of UK garage with support from industry luminaries Skream, Disclosure, Chris Lorenzo, and Chris Lake. Identical twin bass duo MZG return to their home state to light up the Amphitheatre with their infectious blend of dubstep, house, trap and hip-hop. With a resume boasting support for artists like Griz, Herobust, Troyboi, and Manic Focus, these guys are guaranteed to spark the dancefloor.
Saturday — October 26
Set your alarms because the Amphitheatre is getting really funky, really fast when The Sponges kick things off with a jiggy jamboree at 2 PM. The duo will surely “Make It Juicy” with their playful disco house and charged psychedelic basslines that have earned them spots on festival lineups like Burning Man, Shambhala, and Elements Festival. Saturday is truly loaded with talent, but one set everyone should circle on their schedule is the collaboration made in house music heaven—Justin Jay B2B Nala at OFF LIMITS. This is a powerhouse collision with Dirtybird roots as Claude VonStroke’s esteemed label launched Justin Jay’s career from his freshman dorm in 2011 and helped Nala blossom into a budding star since 2020. The DEF team is blessing us with a darker shade of house and techno later that night with a set from Chicago’s surging Azzecca. With releases on Diplo’s Higher Ground, Gorgon City’s REALM records, and numerous festival appearances, this thriving star-in-the-making has the chops to deliver an exceptional performance. That’s not all, prepare for the Spirit Lake stage to become a haven for love, unity, and empowerment when Afro-house tastemaker &friends casts a spell on the dancefloor. Since the project’s debut in 2022, it has seen overwhelming support from industry giants around the world and electrified crowds at Coachella, SXM Festival, and Goldrush.
