Lace up those running shoes! 2026 is all about hitting your goals and tackling those New Year’s Resolutions, with fitness goals at the top of the list. If you feel lost or unsure about where to start, you’re not alone. You may have seen that one of the hottest EDM DJs, Diplo, is combining two things that people love: running clubs and music! Diplo has launched his inaugural Diplo’s Run Club Phoenix 5K, merging the excitement of run clubs with his electrifying performances. Here is your official launch guide for this weekend, January 24th, at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix!
Join Diplo and 9,000 other friends as you run alongside him on this 3.1-mile course. Immediately after the 5K, enjoy a free daytime concert featuring both Diplo and Will Clarke while capturing all the Instagram-worthy moments! The course begins and ends in the heart of the city, taking participants north on a flat out-and-back route along 3rd Street toward Thomas Road. It’s a family-friendly event that incorporates live entertainment with fitness and wellness. Plus, you’ll have the bragging rights of running alongside the one and only Diplo!
Registration is still open, so don’t miss out! You must pick up your race bib before hitting the starting line! Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday, January 23, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at ScheelsChandler. It’s located at 3199 W Chandler Boulevard, Chandler, AZ 85226. Don’t forget to bring your ID and a screenshot of your registration confirmation. If you’re unable to pick up your packet, someone else can do it for you with that screenshot.
Not interested in running but want to enjoy the festival? You can buy a ticket just for the show! Bring your friends and family along. A portion of the proceeds from each tour stop benefits high-need communities through Good Sports, in partnership with the nonprofit PLUS1. Specifically, the Phoenix event will support Arizona youth by funding new sports equipment, apparel, and footwear.
