EDM Takes Over The Junkyard

As Denver starts to warm up, there’s only one thing on everyone’s mind: outdoor show season is back. And if last year was any indication, the Junkyard is about to become one of the hottest dance music destinations in the city once again.

After launching their Insomniac Rockies division, Insomniac wasted no time making its mark. Massive names like Sara Landry, Black Coffee, and the Day Trip Block Party turned the venue into a full-blown hub for dance music lovers. Now, heading into 2026, they’re raising the bar even higher. So far, their stacked summer lineup spans trance, house, and big room energy.

May 2026

Kicking things off in a major way is trance icon Armin van Buuren on Friday, May 15th. If you’re missing EDC Las Vegas this year, this is your chance to tap into those same euphoric vibes. Expect a journey through uplifting melodies, progressive builds, and maybe even a few dips into psytrance and techno. Joining Armin as support are Benwal, Superstrings, and Adam Stark. This night will be nothing short of transcendent.

The very next day, Saturday, May 16th, Chris Stussy takes over for a Factory93 showcase. Fresh off the release of his debut album Lost, Found & Forgotten…, Stussy is bringing his signature deep, groove-heavy sound. He’ll be joined by Beltran, Chloé Caillet, Toman, Paramida, and a special B2B from Owie and GS5. If you’re into cutting-edge house music, this one’s essential.

June 2026

On Saturday, June 13th, things turn explosive as Hardwell returns to Denver for the first time since 2017. As one of only five North American tour stops, this show is guaranteed to draw a massive crowd. From timeless anthems like “Spaceman” and “Apollo” to his newer, techno-driven sound, expect a high-energy set built for a full-scale outdoor experience. Support hasn’t been announced for this show yet, but we’re hoping for Maddix to join the lineup.

Closing out this wave of announcements, Gorgon City lands on Friday, June 19th. Their set is sure to hit every corner of the house spectrum. Joined by SG Lewis, Jackie Hollander, and Denver favorite Option4, this is shaping up to be one of the most feel-good nights of the summer.

Insomniac Rockies clearly has no plans of slowing down. With warm nights, open skies, and world-class talent on deck, there’s no better place to be than the Junkyard this season.
