Last week, Denver EDM promoter Global Dance announced the stage and daily lineups for its 21st annual festival, which will take place in just under two weeks on July 26-27, 2024. The festival is moving to a new home this year, The National Western Complex, with new hours from 5 pm to 1 am daily.
Previously held at Empower Field from 3 pm to 11 pm, Global Dance featured four stages and a silent disco. This year, there will be three stages and no silent disco. Despite these changes, the festival promises an incredible experience with an impressive lineup. Included below are some of our most anticipated moments at Global Dance 2024.
Friday: July 26
The Summit stage will feature hip hop-inspired Kaytranada, who just released his third album, Timeless, last month. The Northern Lights stage will feature Gjones and Smoakland’s DNB set, Liquid Smoak. Gjones debuted his Paths live show at Red Rocks at the end of 2023, and we’re excited to see how his performance has evolved. Smoakland began releasing their Liquid Smoak mixes in 2020 and debuted their Liquid Smoak set at Soundhaven in 2022. Hartshorn, featured in Moon Lvnding’s Rising Stars Of 2024 and Who Are Ya?! – Get Happy with Hartshorn, will bring hard dance to the Oasis Stage. Last year, he played the silent disco and has now moved up to one of the more prominent stages.
Saturday: July 27
The only B2B on the lineup will feature Boogie T B2B Jantsen on the Summit stage. This exclusive performance is a must-see for any wubs enthusiast. DNB fans will want to catch 1991 on the Northern Lights Stage. Earlier this year, he played the “Worship” tour alongside Culture Shock, Dimension, and Sub Focus. Crankdat, who gained significant traction after releasing a heavy dubstep take on Taylor Swift’s “Anti-Hero,” will also perform on the Northern Lights stage. Paws, the official DJ for the Denver Nuggets, will be taking over the Oasis stage. When he isn’t curating the vibe inside Ball Arena, you can find him opening for artists like Illenuim.
Set times have yet to be released when this article was written, so hopefully, these performances won’t clash!
