Spooky season is upon us and ravers around the world know that means Halloween’s biggest festival is also here! Escape Halloween returns to NOS Event Center this October 25 and 26 with a brand new layout and a Boiler Room stage. With huge names like Illenium, Afroki (Afrojack B2B Steve Aoki), Seven Lions and Ludacris gracing the stages this year, it is easy to miss some amazing rising artists on the schedule. We have you covered. Circle the names below and arrive early to avoid missing who may become your new favorite artist.
Friday, October 25
Day 1 comes in hot with huge names like Illenium, Wooli, Lady Faith, and FatboySlim. While these heavyweights are sure to rock the stage, there are two lesser-known acts that you cannot miss earlier in the day.
The first artist, Emorfik, is based out of New York and has been going hard in the bass scene lately. He busted onto the scene with heavy set after heavy set, earning slots at festivals like Lost Lands and EDC. His song with Riot Ten, “Tekno Music” has almost 500,000 streams on Spotify and dropped his latest album, Project Containment, in September. If you like heavy bass in your face, Emorfik is a great way to get your Escape 2024 started.
The second artist we want to highlight comes all the way from Amsterdam and goes by the name of Prunk. Prunk has been DJ’ing for over 10 years, playing gigs around the world with Brazil (D.EDGE, São Paulo) and Bali (Jenja) being two of his main features. His relaxed attitude towards his DJ’ing plus his infectious vibe in the booth make him stand out from all his peers. His songs “Drive” and “Keep It Simple” are major vibes. Make sure you don’t miss Prunk to get your Day 1 off to a groovy start.
Saturday, October 26
Day 2’s lineup is also no joke! With sets from Adventure Club, James Hype, and Lil Texas, it is easy to get overexcited and overlook other acts. Lucky for you we didn’t. Be sure not to miss these next two artists!
If you don’t know this name yet, you will. Hamdi took off with the release of “Shanka” in 2022 and “Push” featuring Skrillex earlier this year. Hamdi brings his unique UK style and genre-blending of dubstep, UKG, and grime to all his sets, leaving the crowd thinking, “What is he going to do next?” If you are a fan of genre-bending music and bass you will not want to miss Hamdi.
The next artist on Saturday you don’t want to miss is a local based in San Diego, CA. Rainedrop gained recognition for organizing events called AFTERHOURS SD, which played a huge role in his career and music trajectory. He is poised to break into the hard techno and dubstep scene, evident by his bangers “Head Drop” and “Whatchu Know.” Don’t miss him breaking necks to start off Day 2.
With Escape Halloween around the corner, it’s only a matter of time until set times are released. When they are, be sure to star the artists we have mentioned along with any other personal favorites. If you haven’t bought your ticket for Escape yet, there are still GA, GA+, and VIP tickets available here. Remember to drink water, be nice to everyone, and have an epic Halloween!
