Stoned To Death: A Mission Success

Tempe’s Sunbar was anything but still the other weekend. The Stoned To Death tour rolled in like a stormcloud, leaving nothing untouched. A joint force between rising bass phenoms Stoned Level and MUERTE, the night was a meticulously executed assault on the senses.

Music and Vibes All Around

From the moment doors opened, the venue buzzed with anticipation. Fans showed out in full force, many rocking the newest Stoned to Death jersey collab. The sleek, black-and-red design echoed the tour’s unique aesthetic and added a layer of unity in the pit. The night kicked off with Wrld Cyphr, who wasted no time setting the pace with a blistering, high-octane set. His aggressive sound and razor-cut mixing snapped the room to attention, pulling early arrivals straight to the rail.

Next up was HAMRO, and boy, did he throw down. His set was an explosive showcase of surgical mixing and heavy low-end madness. Just when the crowd thought they had him figured out, he brought out Arizona’s own rising star Ophion for a surprise back-to-back that sent shockwaves through the pit. Two rising heavyweights on one stage, feeding off the crowd’s raw energy.

Stoned Level x MUERTE

Stoned Level and MUERTE took the stage together, delivering a back-to-back set that felt more like an exorcism than a performance. They unleashed a flood of unreleased collabs, flips, and twisted edits that had fans in a frenzy. One standout moment? A brutal mashup of A Day to Remember’s “The Downfall of Us All” with the high-impact chaos of Hedex’s “BADADAN.”

What made the hit even harder is the intention behind it. Before the show, I got the chance to sit down with the boys and talk about the Stoned To Death project. MUERTE shared how he created the visuals himself, wanting to add that extra level of detail that made the experience fully immersive. MUERTE’s hand-drawn visuals weren’t just background—they were the skin of that world.

Both MUERTE and Stoned Level expressed a desire to step outside the boundaries of their individual brands. They wanted to create something new—something that fused their styles without diluting either one. It was clear the project came from a place of mutual respect and shared vision. Together, they’ve crafted an experience that feels dangerous, deliberate, and entirely their own.

While the tour has already come to a close, the energy behind it is far from over. Be sure to follow both MUERTE and Stoned Level on social media so you never miss an important update—or the next time they decide to bring the madness back to life.

STONED TO DEATH Turns Sunbar Into Ground Zero

On Friday, May 2, Sunbar Tempe will become ground zero for one of the most brutal bass experiences of the year. Stoned Level and MUERTE are teaming up to deliver a night of high-decibel catharsis under the Arizona stars. Their joint LP, STONED TO DEATH, has already dropped jaws with its unfiltered distortion and cinematic dread. Tracks like “LOUD PACK” and “STONED TO DEATH” have become fan favorites, setting the tone for a tour that’s as much about atmosphere as it is about sound. The duo has been tearing through North America, and now, the desert’s about to feel the full impact.

Sunbar’s stage is no stranger to heavyweights. With guttural drops, haunting builds, and head-splitting energy, the duo is blurring the line between show and exorcism. If past dates are any clue, fans can expect crowd-surfing, rail-breaking, and possibly a speaker blowing out. This tour thrives on unpredictability, and Sunbar is the perfect battleground. Its open setup traps energy like lightning in a bottle. When the first sub hits, you’ll feel it in your teeth.

But the chaos doesn’t stop there. HAMRO is on support duty, bringing his own hardwired, high-voltage set to the stage. His sound adds another weapon to an already dangerous lineup. If you’ve seen clips from earlier tour stops, you know what to expect—but if not, prepare for a surprise. Brunch House 6-Year Anniversary: A Celebration for the Books

Hosted at Sunbar this past weekend, Brunch House marked six years of unforgettable vibes and beat drops. If you were there, you know it was one for the books. From the first beat to the final bass drop, the energy was unreal—pure, unfiltered house music bliss. The beats were bouncy, the basslines were deep, and the crowd? Absolutely locked in.

A Lineup That Delivered

Hosted by Elevate Entertainment‘s Brunch Bros, the lineup delivered in every way possible. Mocha P kicked things off, setting the perfect foundation with smooth, vibey selections that eased the crowd into the day. Lionel Ray followed, warming up the dancefloor with groovy, feel-good rhythms that had people moving from the jump. Chris Johnson kept the momentum going with a seamless set, dialing up the energy and locking the crowd into a euphoric groove. Then came Ascension (Live), and wow—his set was nothing short of magical. Live instrumentation met deep, rolling beats, creating an experience that brought the day’s journey full circle.

Brunch House Afters: A Perfect Encore

Just when you thought it was over, Brunch House Afters took everything deeper. Dann B2B Dilemma kicked things off, weaving through hypnotic rhythms and gems. Not Yurs kept the momentum going, layering in infectious grooves that had the crowd locked in. The Brunch Bros, made up of the infamous trio Jur, LuJan, and Elwer, took it from there, setting the stage for the highly anticipated headliner, Dances. When he took over, the room exploded—deep basslines, rolling percussion, and an undeniable connection between DJ and dancefloor. The Brunch Bros comment,

We simply can’t thank all of our Brunchies enough for always supporting us week in and week out so that we can continue to showcase the very best House artists that Phoenix has to offer, some of the best up-and-comers, and the ability to expand to our Brunch House Afters concept to be able to bring even better artists to our party.

For the last 5 years, Sunbar has given Brunch House its home and we are eternally grateful for the gift we have been given to throw our party every Saturday at the premiere dance music venue in the state of Arizona!Lujan and Elwer started this idea of Brunch House in March of 2019 and Jur joined a few weeks later – together since then, we 3 have never looked back.

From late morning into the golden hours of the evening, the Brunch House family showed exactly why this event has lasted six years. What started as a vibrant brunch party carried seamlessly into the late hours of the afternoon. With laughter and music filling the air, it was clear that this tradition is more than just a gathering—it’s a celebration of community, connection, and the joy of sharing good times with great people.

Bass, Love, & Chaos: OG Nixin Shreds Sunbar for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day is usually associated with candlelit dinners, flowers, and romance. For me, it was all about heavy bass, wild energy, and a hot and sweaty night at Sunbar. When I heard OG Nixin was headlining a Valentine’s Day show, I knew this was the perfect way to celebrate. Instead of the usual dinner reservations, I secured tickets to what promised to be a night of headbanging and pure chaos.

Music:

As I arrived at Sunbar, the energy was already palpable in the sea of fans from front to back. The bass rumbled through the floor as the openers took the stage. Of course, this was when I noticed I had forgotten my earplugs, per usual! Local favorites Average Joe and Zeuz kicked things off, throwing down hard-hitting sets that got the crowd hyped. The energy continued to build with Chibs, followed by USAYBFLOW who brought a mix of deep bass and fast-paced beats. Whenever I have the pleasure of catching a Chibs or USAYBFLOW set, they always leave me out of breath and sweaty as hell. This time was no different!

The moment OG Nixin took the decks, it was clear it was time to buckle up for an intense ride. Bass rattled my ear drums and I was really regretting forgetting those earplugs. Opening up the set, he brought out Chibs and USAYBFLOW sending everyone in the room into a spiral. He ran through a setlist packed with some of his gnarliest tracks. I lost my mind at the second drop of the “Shelter – OG Nixin Remix” and HOL!’s remix of “Amnesia”. He teased some new collabs and played some spins on classics like Burial, with every drop sending shockwaves through the crowd.

Community:

What made the night even more special was the sense of community. Whether you were there with your partner, your rave family, or even solo, everyone was connected by the music. Strangers became friends as we headbanged in unison, hands in the air, feeling every beat. From a smile exchanged between two strangers or a high-five after a sick drop, it felt like we were all part of something bigger in that moment. It wasn’t just about hearing the music—it was about feeling it in every inch of your body, seeing it in the lights, and living it in the moment.

Sunbar’s sound system delivered every growl and wub with precision, amplifying the experience to another level. His visuals combined with the lighting and lasers added an extra dimension, syncing perfectly with the music’s intensity. The atmosphere was electric, a living, breathing entity in itself, and it elevated OG Nixin’s set into something transcendental. It was a full sensory overload in the best way possible.

Overall:

As the night came to a close, sweaty and exhilarated, I knew I had made the right choice in how I spent Valentine’s Day. I left feeling an overwhelming abundance of gratitude and couldn’t help but reflect on the power of music to connect us in ways that words often can’t. It wasn’t about roses and chocolates—it was about losing ourselves in the music, surrounded by people who shared the same love for bass. OG Nixin’s set was more than just a performance; it was a reminder of the magic that happens when the crowd, the beats, and the vibe all align. I knew, without a doubt, this Valentine’s Day was one for the books. It is a memory I’ll carry with me for years to come.
