The Tropical House King is at it again—announcing his latest Palm Tree Crew venture following the successful debut of his Palm Tree Club Miami in late 2024. Replacing the iconic Wet Republic, Palm Tree Beach Club Las Vegas is set to open this summer at the MGM Grand in collaboration with Tao Group Hospitality.
Spanning nearly 60,000 square feet, Palm Tree Beach Club will feature a ground-level stage, a saltwater pool, 12 bungalows, 10 cabanas, as well as daybeds and chaise lounges—all designed to elevate your typical Las Vegas day club experience blending music, entertainment, and in true Kygo (Kyrre Gørvell-Dahl) fashion—a vibrant tropical retreat.
Specifics aside, Palm Tree Beach Club isn’t just another addition to the Strip—it redefines Las Vegas entertainment. Vegas day clubs have long been known for their high-energy atmosphere and bottle-service-driven pool parties, but there is a growing demand for more curated, experience-driven destinations.
Palm Tree Beach Club aims to embody this transformation with more than just a party—it introduces a laid-back, luxury resort-style setting that blends music and relaxation. The concept caters to both festival-goers seeking a destination-style experience and tourists looking for a taste of paradise in the desert. With this vision in mind, Palm Tree Beach Club will prove that a tropical lifestyle can coexist with the high-energy Las Vegas party scene. Fortunately, there’s no better place for this fusion to thrive than the Entertainment Capital of the World.
What will set Palm Tree Beach Club apart beyond its immersive design and emphasis on high-end hospitality? Expect exclusive curated experiences, world-class DJ performances, and even potential surprise sets from Kygo himself.
However, Palm Tree Beach Club is more than just a standalone venue—it’s part of a much larger vision. The tropical retreat is inspired by the lifestyle concept behind its driving force: Palm Tree Crew.
Palm Tree Crew
Founded in 2020 by Kygo and his longtime manager, Myles Shear, Palm Tree Crew isn’t just about entertainment—it’s a diversified holding company that owns and operates consumer brands, global events, venues, and a multi-product investment platform within its unified ecosystem.
Its mission? To build a next-generation platform at the intersection of live entertainment, tropical lifestyles, and flexible capital solutions.
In true Kygo fashion, Palm Tree Crew doesn’t stop at just one venture. As the parent company of several subsidiaries, it operates across events, branding, investment, and crypto—each contributing to its mission of blending innovation, entertainment, and tropical living.
At the forefront is Palm Tree Crew Events, the driving force behind Palm Tree Music Festival and other immersive cultural experiences worldwide. From beachfront festivals to exclusive global events and venues, it brings Kygo’s signature tropical aesthetic to life on a global scale.
Palm Tree Crew Brand expands this vision beyond the music, curating everything needed to embrace the ultimate tropical lifestyle. With a collection of luxury consumer products, it offers fans a way to bring the Palm Tree Crew experience into their everyday lives.
On the investment forefront, Palm Tree Crew Investments provides capital and strategic support to founders and management teams across the consumer, technology, and crypto creator economy industries. By backing early-stage tech and innovative consumer products, it plays a key role in shaping the future of music, lifestyle, and digital experiences.
Taking things even further, Palm Tree Crew Crypto, launched in early 2021, is an early-stage investor exclusively focused on the crypto creator economy. The fund specializes in supporting crypto-native founders and startups within the Consumer Crypto category, with a core philosophy of utilizing blockchain technology to enable digital asset ownership and open, composable application logic.
Palm Tree Crew Crypto does more than just fund projects—it actively collaborates with founders, offering tailored business development support and helping companies scale from inception to mainstream growth. With investments spanning early ventures, growth equity, private equity, and alternative assets, Palm Tree Crew Crypto has become a key player in the ever-evolving digital space.
Looking Ahead
So where does Palm Tree Beach Club fit into all of this? As part of Palm Tree Crew’s expanding footprint, it falls under the Palm Tree Crew Events umbrella, joining the recently opened Palm Tree Club Miami, which made its debut during Art Basel in December 2024. These ventures represent a new wave of experience-driven destinations, merging music, lifestyle, and entertainment—all under the Palm Tree Crew brand.
With Summer 2025 fast approaching, Palm Tree Beach Club marks the next step in Palm Tree Crew’s global expansion. With Palm Tree Club Miami already making waves and more destinations actively in the works, Kygo and his team continue to prove that their vision extends far beyond the music.
It’s safe to say Palm Tree Crew is solidifying itself as a leader in blending entertainment, lifestyle, and hospitality, creating experiences that redefine what it means to party in paradise.
I’ll definitely make my way to Las Vegas this summer to experience Kygo’s paradise in the desert. Will you join me?
