Since the first conference in February 2019, NFT.NYC has been bringing together the top projects, concepts, technologies, and initiatives of the NFT Community. 2022 will be the biggest conference yet, featuring over 1000 speakers at seven unique venues around Times Square in Midtown Manhattan from June 20 to 23.
NFT.NYC is guided by three core values: 1) Give the community a voice, by bringing together as many speakers as possible; 2) Connection, by being people together who work on like projects; and 3) Proselytize, by educating the global community about the value of the NFT-ecosystem.
The industry leaders across a wide array of NFT brands, developers, entrepreneurs, gamers, artists, investors, and collectors will gather at some of the most iconic locations in Manhattan, like Radio City Music Hall, NY Marriott Marquis, and The Edison Ballroom to name a few. The programming at Radio City Music Hall will be hosted by Coinbase ($COIN) along with the stage sponsor Ripple ($XRP). Title sponsors for NFT.NYC include the ethereum layer-2 protocol Polygon Studios and NFT check-out platform Moon Pay.
NFT.NYC Co-founder Jodee Rich said, “The addition of Radio City Music Hall to the lineup of great venues will provide an ideal platform for some of the most exciting speakers within the NFT community.” Coinbase commented, “NFT.NYC brings together the diverse, global NFT community of creators, developers, companies, projects, and educators for an inspirational exchange of ideas. We are thrilled to present NFT.NYC.”
Here at Moon Lnvding, we are excited to see music-related speakers gracing the stage as well. One speaker to keep an eye out for is Mike Darlington, the CEO and co-founder of Monstercat, an independent electronic music label for over 10 years. His new project, the web3-based audio/visual art project RELICS, is at the forefront of the intersection of music, art, and the metaverse.
Another important music presenter is Dyl, who has been in the NFT music scene since the early days. He produced one of the first crypto rap albums, Crypto Rich, and has been influential in helping new artists navigate the unknown of the music NFT world. The third key player to look out for is Richard Brownstein, an entrepreneur in the music, art, and financial sector. His experience as a recording engineer and MIT-blockchain team leader should make for an engaging and interesting presentation.
We are less than 100 days from the start of NFT.NYC and 3,500 attendees have already purchased advanced tickets. Last year sold out, and the 2022 conference is likely to sell out as well, so snap up those tickets while you can. Tickets can be purchased here with credit card or cryptocurrency. Be sure to stay up to date with NFT.NYC by looking out for more music updates here on Moon Lvnding and giving their Twitter account a follow.
