The team over at Heard It Here First is gearing up for year two of Cabin Fever Festival benefiting The Innocence Project. Summer is heating up, festival season is upon us, and the sounds of “Woot! Woot!” are ringing through the crowds. Nature is healing after being locked down for over a year (in some cases), but one thing that we know for sure won’t be going away anytime soon are live streams.
This event will take place tomorrow, June 17 starting at 8pm EST, 5pm PST, and you can tune in via Twitch at Twitch.tv/hearditherefirstmusic. Last year’s event featured artists such as ill.gates, AHEE, Floret Loret and more and raised over $1,000 for the organization The Innocence Project. The initiative is an effort to exonerate the wrongly convicted using DNA testing and reforms in the criminal justice system.
This year HIHF is upping the ante bringing in heavy-hitters like DMVU and Benji Robot, and some amazing partners in MP3MAG and Electric Hawk.
