Over a year passed with no festivals, but finally HARD Summer is back on July 31st + August 1st to bring the live music. Finding a new home this year, HARD will be held at NOS Event Center in San Bernardino, California, a familiar location for Insomniac faithful.
HARD Summer will welcome some of electronic music’s most momentous acts, including a special back to back set from French dance music icons DJ Snake and Malaa, genre-blending beatsmith REZZ, Grammy-winning producer Kaytranada, HARD favorite Dillon Francis, a special Old Skool Dubstep Set from Skream!, and the similarly massive pairing of trap legends Baauer and RL Grime.
Bass music continues its triumph with sets by JAUZ, Kayzo, k?d, and more, followed by a showcase of leading house selectors like underground dance music sensation Maya Jane Coles, Walker & Royce, Ardalan, and VNSSA. Rap will continue to be at the centerstage of HARD Summer as well, with headlining sets from Future, 2 Chainz, Don Toliver, and Iann Dior.
Understandably, many are still anxious over the implications of COVID-19 and the dangers surrounding it. However, HARD is working diligently to implement necessary safety precautions, and is working with local officials to ensure all CDC guidelines are adhered. With events beginning to come back, it is important that safety is at the forefront of promoters’ minds; HARD Events is leading the charge.
