Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival has released a statement that this year’s event is officially postponed due to the grounds becoming unsafe for festival goers due to the rains from Hurricane Ida. The official social media accounts for the event have stated the festival will return in June of 2022.

This is just the second time since 2002 that the event has been postponed – the first was last year due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. The festival did everything it could to maintain safe grounds, even suggesting they could reduce capacity on the camping grounds in order to safely host attendees, but the rain levels have caused the grounds to be unmanageable. The grounds at The Farm have gotten to a point where they can no longer safely load in or drive vehicles to park.

This year’s event was set to feature artists like The Foo Fighters, LIZZO, Tyler The Creator, deadmau5, Incubus, Seven Lions, Jack Harlow, and many more. It is a true disappointment that this event has to be postponed due to inclement weather.

All up-to-date information about refunds can be found at www.bonnaroo.com, but tickets purchased through Front Gate will be refunded in as little as 30 days and back to the original method of payment.
