Back with his sixth release of the year on his newly founded label imprint Divided Souls, Wax Motif teams up with Corrupt (UK) and features vocals from Scruffizer on the new hit track “All Black Everything.” Scruffizer also featured on the Wax track “A1 Dip” earlier this year, while Corrupt, a South Yorkshire bass producer and resident DJ, is collaborating with Wax Motif for the first time. Notably, this track serves as the lead single from Wax Motif’s forthcoming album.
The release of “All Black Everything” has been months in the making, after Wax Motif originally teased it in his EDC Las Vegas and HARD Summer BBQ Rave-A-Thons sets. The song itself is sleek and sexy, just as one would imagine a club goer in “All Black Everything.” It starts with a slow pulsating build before Scruffizer hits us with his refrain. From the wailing sirens in the background to the digital blips in the transitions, Corrupt and Wax Motif form a formidable production pairing on this single with their attention to the details.
In sum, “All Black Everything” is another standout G-house track and a tasty tease for Wax Motif’s upcoming album. Remember that this song, as well as many other new tunes, feature on the Moon Lvnding New Music Friday Heat playlist on Spotify, updated weekly for all to enjoy.
