LA-based artist Tyson Illingworth, known as tyDi, released the track “Trainwreck” just weeks after the successful launch of his previous single “Nerve.” tyDi enlists the help of his alter ego for this track, featuring performances by Wish I Was as well as Jasper. In spite of the global pandemic, tyDi is still making the most of this year, with plenty more goodies in the library waiting to be released.
The feature begins with a soft beat under the fast-paced vocals from Jasper. Very light percussion kicks in to lead the song towards the first drop as Jasper’s vocals transition into the drop. The beautifully written vocals, complimented by the deep bass and chimes, create a chill vibe that is easy to move to. This song is a bit of a switch from his more upbeat tracks like “Nerve” and “Start Again,” and this change in style shows how tyDi’s genius stretches across multiple genres.
tyDi has impressed audiences so far this year, with several successful releases in 2020, and looks to continue with his latest single “Trainwreck.” The sound change allows him to show off a wider range of his skills and allow his listeners to appreciate the work done during the ongoing pandemic.
