David Guetta and indie dance duo Shouse have teamed up to release a new song that brings a nostalgic, ethereal energy to the dancefloor called “Live Without Love” via Hell Beach Records. The inspiration for the song came from the two indie artists saying goodbye to their loved ones in Australia as they head off to perform across the world.
Guetta saw the potential to mix it into a classic dance track and quickly collaborated to create an anthem for the ones we hold near to our hearts. This collaboration is a follow-up to Shouse’s worldwide hit “Love Tonight” which David Guetta remixed to have a high-energy techno sound. After over a billion streams, they worked together again on this fresh release.
“Live Without Love” is sure to have listeners joining hands with their closest friends and singing at the top of their lungs at the next festival. The song starts with a beautiful harmony from a Melbourne-based choir followed by Jack Madin of Shouse on lead vocals. The first verse shares that even when feeling alone there is love in this life.
About a minute in, a groovy drop kicks it that’s sure to get people moving. Then the song gets back to its soul-moving lyrics that point to love being the root of everything good in life. The track then provides another melodic drop layered with angelic harmonies that leave listeners with a new love for life.
Shouse just wrapped up a month-long North American tour that went from Washington D.C. to Miami and it will be exciting to see what comes next from the Australian-New Zealand duo!
