Riot Ten Switches Gears With Trap-Meets-Bass House Tune “Don’t You”

Article by: Patrick Egan

Riot Ten shows his immense versatility switching it up on his new track “Don’t You.” Riot Ten’s previous two releases of the year, “Poppin” and “Get Out” demonstrate the artist’s typical production style, hitting listeners with dramatic drops and heavy bass. “Don’t You” seamlessly blends the two subgenres of trap and bass house.

Riot Ten demonstrated his bass house production skills with his BLKMRKT project released in Summer 2020. The project took listeners by surprise and provided fans with a different side of the producer that we didn’t know we needed until now. The artist provided fans with glimpses of his house production all 2020 by dropping a few tracks in his live shows, and then eventually streaming an entire house set on Twitch.

Any true bass lover can appreciate the versatility of perfection that Riot Ten shows us time and time again. Hopefully the remainder of 2021 is full of house stunners from the artist; maybe providing us with a BLKMRKT Volume 2?! Make sure to catch the release when it drops on Dim Mak Friday April 16.
