Charleston-based bass music producer OK. Kevin blesses listeners with his latest release, “Destination.” The track is midtempo with dark, ominous, and crisp sound design.
“Destination” opens with melodic piano chords and sharp horns echoing in the background. The sounds fade and the listener hears “You have now reached your destination” before transitioning smoothly into the main chorus. The drop hits and layers a bouncy beat with wavy synths. But the second drop which switches it up greatly, opening with wobbly sounds over heavy kicks. The track is full of surprises and perfectly captures the art of midtempo.
