Starting the new year with a bang, LP Giobbi and hermixalot have a brand new funky house tune out on Insomniac Records. The FEMME HOUSE founder is coming of a stellar 2020, including having some of the most memorable livestreams of the year. “Move Your Body” is a piano driven anthem, filling us with excitement for the new year.
“Move Your Body” opens with the soulful vocal from hermixalot, shortly before introducing the foundational piano. As the drums come in, LP Giobbi has you grooving almost immediately. Her use of live drum samples is reminiscent of the days of disco, perfectly matching the vibe of this track. The track rolls on with a thumping bass line at the drop, encouraging the listener to get up and move.
LP Giobbi spared no energy in creating “Move Your Body,” combining the gospel-like vocals, live instruments, and impeccable sound design to deliver an infectious and uplifting tune. Her ability to inject a feeling of nostalgia into new music is a unique highlight in her sound. “Move Your Body” is an exciting continuation of her discography, ensuring all eyes are on her for the future.
