Los Angeles producers Lost Kings are back with their new release, “Hurt” via Disruptor Records / RCA Records. The track features the vocal prowess of singer / songwriter DeathByRomy, and the single comes just ahead of Lost Kings’s upcoming EP It’s Not You.
Lost Kings return to their throne on this track with their up-tempo dance beat, rich with bass and percussion lines. DeathByRomy sings over the beats, about showing that special someone you’re better without them and not being hurt over losing them. Lost Kings and DeathByRomy combine on this track to release an end of the summer banger everyone can get behind and they even produced an awesome one-take music video.
Lost Kings view this release and their upcoming EP as a renaissance for the duo, stating, “These songs on the It’s Not You EP speak to the cycle of relationships that we’ve been through and our fans can relate to.” The DJs and producers will look to further their success with the release of It’s Not You, and the fire tracks coming with it, as Lost Kings secured their slot to debut at Coachella in 2021.
