Producing some of the most unique minimalistic and raw bass-filled sounds, Kage connects for a reunion with Confession to deliver a two-track EP for the ages. Oblivion is Kage’s latest masterpiece following releases such as his remix to Tchami and Suburban Plaza’s “Toxic Love,” and his latest solo release of “Exodus.” The two tracks Kage created for this EP exemplify the amount of pure potency his sound transmits.
Kage catches fire on the a-side track “Oblivion,” combining an ominous vocal sample with a hypnotizing bassline and light but impactful drums. Kage utilizes his distinctive sound design to make an intoxicating cinematic masterpiece.
Flipping over to the b-side is “Alchemy,” Kage continues to fuel the fire on the EP with this track. “Alchemy” exposes some of the more grinding and grimy sides of his repertoire. The track takes listeners into the dark side of Kage’s talents, fusing together his unique glitchy house sound with a liquid-like bassline. Kage intertwined two contrasting tracks into one EP and found a way to have the combination work perfectly.
Kage has found a serious amount of traction within the music industry, and looks to launch even higher with his Oblivion EP. He is an artist to watch going into 2022 for exciting upcoming shows and new releases.
