It’s a beautiful thing to discover an artist that never ceases to amaze, and Habstrakt does exactly that with his extensive body of work, including his hot new track “Gotta Be.” The song which releases today on Insomniac Records, is a nice combination of a chilled-out trap beat indulged in ambiance. Habstrakt crafts it with low pitched vocals that flow through a distorted bassline, and it all comes together under a pumping house beat during its climax.
There is no genre Habstrakt can’t dominate. With a mindfully sweet, yet aggressive, approach to everything he touches, Habby perfectly blends elements of dubstep, bass house, trap and other melodic sounds. Habstrakt is one of the most abstract artists to come from his French homeland, and as an artist, he never fails to give us an epic delivery.
