Fryar Gets Speedy with Drum and Bass Tune “Do It For Myself”

Article by: Ryan Hood

Kicking off November’s release schedule is Fryar’s latest heater “Do It For Myself.” The bass producer taps into his love of drum and bass for this one, deviating just slightly from his recent releases. “Do It For Myself” features the producer’s signature sound design, as his basses contain incredible depth and paint a vivid soundscape. The second drop shifts to a halftime drum beat, giving the track variable pacing that plays well with audiences.

“Do It For Myself” features similar artwork to Fryar’s last single “Doubt In My Head,” potentially hinting at an EP or even an LP in the near future with these two singles and potentially others. Fryar has been on a meteoric rise through the bass music community, and has been tapped by G Jones to open his New Year’s Eve event in North Carolina along with NotLö, A Hundred Drums, and Mr. Carmack.

Fryar is one of our artists to watch heading into 2022, and we cannot wait for more of his upcoming releases, including some insane collabs with Mize, Space Wizard, Zeke Beats, and SuperAve.
