Deformaty Drops Dark Bass Thriller “Sinner”

Article by: Sam Wolloch

Badkill Records is back at it, as its gritty grimy bass lord Deformaty leads the way with a new pulsating drum and bass banger “Sinner.” It has been a busy few months for the label, publishing a bunch of new releases and dropping its premier compilation album, Badkill Anthology Volume 1, with 19 tracks and over 75 minutes of music.

Deformaty uses deft sound design to create a suspenseful start to “Sinner.” The futuristic melody is soon met with ominous drum and bass, harkening back to a secret meeting somewhere deep inside The Matrix. Then the vocal sample hits and there is only one guarantee – a thrilling buildup to a dark and heavy-hitting bassline. “Sinner” is an energizing single, leaving one pondering if they really should have taken the red pill.

This new original mix marks Deformaty’s 10th track with Badkill Records, and its 38th release in all, with each new offering showcasing the label’s distinctive dark and sinister sound. There are plenty more dubstep, deep house, and dark drum and bass tracks already posted on its extensive library available on many popular digital music services, with a whole host of IDs ready to emerge from the shadow. Deformaty, and the many other talented artists on Badkill Records, definitely deserve your attention if you enjoy the dark arts of electronic dance music.
