Once again it’s our favorite day of the week, which means we have more phenomenal tunes for you on this #NewMusicFriday! A standout this week from the tech-house stage is the United Kingdom producer Deeper Purpose, who is raising the game another tier with his new track “Elevate” dropping on Catch & Release.
The journey of this new release started almost exactly a year ago to the day, when the tech-house tastemaker Fisher was one of the first to recognize the merit of this track by playing it out in Manchester. After Fisher started playing it out around the world, it was only a matter of time until it was signed to a label, and in this case on his own imprint, Catch & Release Records.
The song has a wavy buildup, as if it would make you turn to your friends at a show and start moving your fingers along with the keys as the cliffhanger finally drops. The song’s seamless progression into the drop brings a shout of “Elevate” blended into a winding beat and high hat bassline.
